obviously Stefan was being controlled. like damn he would never just kill off the guy bonnie cared about. the hate is crazy. with that said i only just started to like enzo and damn that was harsh but honestly feel like bonnie and damon make the seriously better couple. hopefully now it ends stelena who Williamson has said several times over that writing stelena literally saved his life and that they were soul mates. folks can say what they want but the show was never better or more popular than when stelena was together and Bamon was all about the team ups and the banter, having their own dynamic that hasnt been like anyother couples. every couple on originals too has tried to to mimic stelena, few feel authentic with thier own distinctive rapports like bamon, Klaroline who damn near stole the whole show, Rebel's history is really cool and unique and thinking over 8seasons Katherine&Elijah definitely fit in their own box too. Some couples were unexpected but with great potential like tyler&liv who could have went off to have a real life together( damn Kai) Matt and Nadia were cool and could have went the distance but well they killed her off and ill always remember anna✊ but all this feels like foreshadowing to me. all the epi titles are stelena quotes and now stefan is human...last epi damon and bonnie reconcile and he promises never to leave again and admits that she too would make him into a better man(personally dont see how elena ever really did) and the hug very next epi damon askes her to work with him again, and she literally says that theyre throwing away thier chance at the 'life' they were planning. Enzo gets killed and she looks like she got her magic back. I get delena is what some are rooting for but i think they are seriously over done. Enzo was finally fleshing out as a character although i hate how bonnie and him got started. it felt cheap. The way it was brokendown and after he was all over caroline for 2 seasons then Lily but BE was starting to grow on me but mainly cuz i want my bonnie happy and its effing sad to see him get killed in front of her like that. He, to me, as a character finally had real direction since season 5 when he was first introduced and Bonnie literally suffers more than anyone else. Like why cant the girl be happy! that being said Bamon has had massive growth and so much more story to tell. Id like to see this end with them together but this is tvd. My only real hope is she doesn't sacrifice herself in the end😕
Jaded Siren totally agree w your narrative on the whole show. I also believe that stelena should be together. Didn't really like delena, although they were very sweet together and I loved how he changed her and vice versa but the real story is stelena and I really hope they end up together because they are meant to be. I love the season when there were 3 elenas and it told the story of the doppelgänger(s). Time and time again there were moments when stelena could have rekindled but her relationship w Damon stopped that. And I truly believed that after they found out she was sired to him that stelena would be together again AS IT SHOULD BE! But that didn't happen. The ending at this point I feel should be Bonnie and Damon Bc they're besties and that'll be super cute. Caroline and Stephen NEVER GONNA HAPPEN! she should go be with klaus!!! And Matt finds some nice townie and gets married and has kids!!! Everyone needs to be happy and have a happy ending. I'm honestly rooting for the writers to do this show justice. Also! I love how Julie mentions that the show is gonna end how she envisioned it (how it's written in the book) Elena waking up (in the book she died and comes back an angel) so I think that's pretty majestic and shows that although they've written some things differently it all comes together in the end! 🤗

Step number one - Make Stefan a complete monster that everyone hates, so Elena can stop loving him. Check. Step number two - Ruin Damon's character and make him too good, so Elena can love him. Check. Step number three - Keep ruining Stefan by making him kill everyone that his friends love, so when Elena wakes up, she can hate him even more. Check. Step number four - Ruin the nice friendship between Stefan and Caroline, by making the most ridiculous ship in the whole TVd an TO universe, only so he can have some other love interest(Even Valerie seemed better for him). Check. I can keep going with the list, but it would take me all day, to write all the stupid things the writers did... The show started with Nice vampire, Nice girl, Awesome and cool brother vampire. And this was the best scenario, why did you have to ruin it?

I was with you until step four, I love Steroline. But I agree on all your other points. The first few seasons of this show were amazing but then you had Damon steal Elena from Stefan while Stefan was out saving HIS life. That was definitely *not* okay and the show just went downhill from there.
You see, they started developing Caroline/Stefan nicely in season 5. You know, Lexi was gone, and Caroline took her role as Stefan's best friend. But that's what they should've remained.
We're just going to have to agree to disagree on that. At first, I really didn't like the ship. But they grew on me over time and now I sincerely believe that they both deserve each other after all the crap they've been through. But that's just my opinion, we're all free to like or dislike whatever we wish :)

Benzo's conversation has just as much to do with Delena. Damon and Elena did the same in S3. They set aside their feelings for each other and put Stefan first, they put their war against Klaus first. Elena, the selfless one... always willing to sacrifice herself for her friends. She set aside her feelings for Damon and put her friends first. She put Stefan, Tyler, and Caroline first. She put Matt first. There is a right time to be selfish, which is why Elena ends up with Damon. She put her friends first in S3, then put herself first in S4. Not everyone will get their happy ending with their romantic partner, but at least none of them end up alone... which is far worse imo.
Caroline kinda ended up alone.. besides her kids. Bonnie lost Enzo for who knows how long. Jeremy and Matt alone. Matt lost his wife, Alaric kept ending up alone, his poor love life. Hope lost Landon unless he is ever brought to life again, she lost her parents and some friends, the love of her life and is now a hybrid and Klaus and Elijah killed each other id like to know if they ended up with who they loved… still so many characters that got a crappy ending by the end of their series!!!
After, Enzo is dead , even though we have few episode left ,but I think Bonnie is going to pull willow from Buffy the vampire slayer and go on revenge .
AG cade made them both a deal. it's either damon kill 100 people or kill caroline (the love of stefan's life) and stefan has to kill 100 people or kill elena (the love of damon's life.) damon didn't even consider killing caroline, while stefan jumped at the opportunity to kill elena.
To be honest The Salvatores, Enzo, The Mikaelsons, The Lockwoods, Katherine, Isabel, And most other characters except for Bonnie, Grams, Jeremy, Caroline, Tom, And Matt should of stayed permanently in the prison world to suffer for eternity for many of there misdeeds yeah
Anyone notice a little slip up in this scene? The gas pump in the background. At about 0:15. Lol. They went as far as having the characters really putting the nozzle in the gas tank, but failed to realize, or correct the fact that the gas pump isn't even on. Lol. I've recently caught up on the show after giving up at season 7. I'm I the only one thinking Elena isn't going to forgive Damon for half the thing's he's done since she has been gone. The writers have made him nonredeemable to me.

Benzo's conversation has just as much to do with Delena. Damon and Elena did the same in S3. They set aside their feelings for each other and put Stefan first, they put their war against Klaus first. Elena, the selfless one... always willing to sacrifice herself for her friends. She set aside her feelings for Damon and put her friends first. She put Stefan, Tyler, and Caroline first. She put Matt first. There is a right time to be selfish, which is why Elena ends up with Damon. She put her friends first in S3, then put herself first in S4. Not everyone will get their happy ending with their romantic partner, but at least none of them end up alone... which is far worse imo.

Caroline kinda ended up alone.. besides her kids. Bonnie lost Enzo for who knows how long. Jeremy and Matt alone. Matt lost his wife, Alaric kept ending up alone, his poor love life. Hope lost Landon unless he is ever brought to life again, she lost her parents and some friends, the love of her life and is now a hybrid and Klaus and Elijah killed each other id like to know if they ended up with who they loved… still so many characters that got a crappy ending by the end of their series!!!

AG cade made them both a deal. it's either damon kill 100 people or kill caroline (the love of stefan's life) and stefan has to kill 100 people or kill elena (the love of damon's life.) damon didn't even consider killing caroline, while stefan jumped at the opportunity to kill elena.

Anyone notice a little slip up in this scene? The gas pump in the background. At about 0:15. Lol. They went as far as having the characters really putting the nozzle in the gas tank, but failed to realize, or correct the fact that the gas pump isn't even on. Lol. I'm literally watching this episode right now, and caught it. Kind of feeling dumb. Seeing as how many times I've watched this series, and didn't catch it before now. Lol.
