Sometimes my center conductor is not making BNC contact after insertion even though I make sure that all the cuts are of the correct depth. What am I doing wrong?
+Molly Brown Molly good to hear from you. I would say one of two things if you feel you have the cable stripped properly. Either your not pushing the connector on all the way which you probably are since you can see the braid in the little window. Or the center conductor is not really straight and gets bent out of the way not making contact. I find when I cut the coax sometimes the cutter will slightly bend the cable. A little practice will usually solve the problem. Let me know if you need more help. Ron
Do you also make PCB mount BNC connectors? The problem I have with some brands of BNC is the spring is too sloppy.. Need strong, stout spring inside so connection is more stable.
i think it's really helpful for me and i will recommend this video to my friends.thanks! maybe elecbee cables as well as other cables.
Thanks G Laura I hope you can use the info Ron
