My male gets along great with females but doesn’t like males. As soon as he smells one he’s ready to rock. I tried to socialize him as a pup but when he turned 7-8 months old that all changed. I just do my best to avoid any type of interactions with other males.

Same with Pablo. Dogos naturally don't get along with dogs of the same gender

In my opinion and experience you as boss have a big deal in how your dog behaves. For sample, our dutch shepard had to go to the vet a few times. 1 time she was in a pool of water and she stepped on metal or glass, because she was wounded to the back of 1 of her front paws. I took her to the vets, no muzzle on and the vet and she got a couple of stitches and she did nothing at all. I had no special feeling about the situation, it just had to be done. My wife took the same dog to the vet for a simple injection. She had a muzzle on, growled at the (same) vet and tried to escape while fighting. My wife was worried. My father in law also had a shepard and that dog tried to attack cars, people on bikes you name it. When I walk with her, she doesn't even pay attention to these things. When you worry about stuff, your not acting like an alpha and your dog could take over the position and do what he thinks is best. In december I get my female dogo argentino, I will prove you she will go allong fine with other dogs same sex or not. And about Pablo, a male dogo... I'm not even starting to get a male in general. A female is much easier to train and keep them listening. But your doing a great job with Pablo looking towards how you trained him. Now the neighbour thing happened, but FCK it. Your neighbours dog won't come to them again that. Pablo showed him on a normal way he's boss😂

Yeah females are easy to train and handle. Male dogos can be stubborn

@@pablosdad I haven't yet got any experience with male dogos or dogos in general. But from what I have seen, the male dogos who were trained well, actually were willing to listen. I haven't seen stubborn males who didn't do what the alpha ask from them. Like when you called back Pablo in a video you made. He came back right away. Not having to pee first or keep his nose on the ground sniffing so you had to call him a second time. I've trained with male dogs and females, but females in general are much easier.
