Ben is a very great guest, For someone who is a voice actor, most actors tend to just see it as another job and cannot really offer up much other than that specific role or project He is so engaged in the gaming community and it's very refreshing to hear. Ben! we would love to see as often as possible!
I literally JUST beat FFXVI before watching this. Ben Starr did an amazing job, awesome game. It's cool to hear FF8 was his favorite because it was what got him into the series because that's a good reason why I love FF7 so much. I feel like it changed my life because I had no idea these kind of stories could exist and were unique to video games. Mainly because I like to imagine and write books.
Ben is great. His quote about games in that "All hours are not equal" is great. My favorite quote in a long time. He could also read bedtime stories. His voice is so calm and soothing. He could deffo have a career doing ASMR if he doesn't wanna do voicework anymore.
I always enjoy Frame Trap, but this has been the most enjoyable episode in recent memory. Everything was so chill that it really calmed me down. Ben's voice is soothing and Damiani seemed even more chill than usual. There is great chemistry between the three and Brad seems to have gotten way better at reading mails. Awesome episode, even though I don't care about some of the topics this week.
I'm doing the last run of side quests before the final battle of FFXVI, and Clive Rosfield has found himself right up there alongside Cloud Strife and Ramza Beoulve as my top 3 favorite FF protagonists. And a huge part of that is thanks to Ben Starr's performance. He absolutely nailed the character, and I love seeing that he's just a big ole fan of the RPGs in general. If the dude wants on a Frame Trap, bring him by, he's got great chemistry with you guys. Sea of Stars looks amazing, and I also can't wait to play it proper come release.
Ben Starr did such a good job of talking and explaining his views, while also asking questions and joining the conversations, it almost like he is one of podcasts hosts. 2:29 Spelunky 2 I feel is also harder in Multiplayer
It was wild just stumbling upon Brad and Damiani on day one while getting my wristband and bag. Fanfest was so fun!!!! The piano concert was unbelievable. I would love for another NA Fan Fest to be in another city because, quite frankly, I hate Vegas. Love Ben on the show - love to see how much he's just a gamer like us! And the Ni No Kuni love at the end? Man Ben is like a long lost friend
When I saw that the episode was three and a half hours long, my smile grew from ear to ear. Thank you for making my difficult overnight shift much more bearable, cheers from Denver. Also, Clive is GOAT tier
Love the BG discussion, I wish more people who weren't fans of that type of deep RPG at least checked out a playthrough or something, especially in the 'video games media' space, it opens up future RPG system discussions so much, so so so so so many peoples only reference point in RPG's is skyrim or 'see that mountain? you can go there" while ignoring staples of character dialogue, relationships, interactions based on choices and morality hours beforehand etc
In FFXVI there was a sidequest with bearers being eaten for a aristocrates sons entertainment. Another NPC in that quest (Raymond) gave goosebumps because he had very sad and sinister vibes. reminded me Gaunter O'Dimm or any other faustian character. Best subtle moment of the game for me.
You guys should totally have more guests remotelly, diamiani was doing it a great job about that on friend code, I its refreshing to get see you guys interacting with other people besides yourselves.
Ben should definitely be a regular guest. He's very humble, funny and intelligent. Best VA performance in FF16 and someone I wonder if SE could recast (pun not intended) in future FF titles or even a major character in FFXIV.
Man Ben is such treasure man. As always his chemistry with the allies is a cut above his other appearances with other creators. I hope if wins the game award for performance he says, “i love you… i fucking love you” in style similar THAT line following first ifrit and phoenix encounter.
Sooo awesome to see Ben once again! the more I see of him, the more I love him! also, shout out to spoons - it may be cheap, but there is a good reason.
Love brads points about just taking your time with stuff. I will probably be playing BG3 and Starfield for the next year, but also work in some other games. No need to rush things.
Baldur's Gate 3 is just amazing. It's been released under 48 hours ago and I've already played 20+ hours (I'm on vacation). Seems like Larian has really hit the jackpot with this game. So well made and respects the player.
I had the perfect experience in FF14, as far as MMOs go. Myself and a good friend started playing it at release, we quickly found a couple at around our age, who also loved playing it, from there it almost instantly grew to a full 8 man clan of equal-minded people, super friendly group. That made playing the game very enjoyable, but it all fell apart at some point after some expansion I can't recall. Now, years after, it feels like an impossible task to reinvigorate that. Too many expansions are out, I can't recall the story and no idea on how to get back into it. I am happy for anyone who gets to experience all of it, it is the best MMO since vanilla WoW back in its day.
To the person who wrote in about the PS5 freezing during FF16. Happened to me too. Turns out it was an issue with ray tracing and had to get the PS5 replaced. I've had it since launch but always played it in performance mode. Last game it happened to me was Miles Morales at launch.
I have never commented on a RUclips video before but if Ben Starr is offering to come to my place and reenact scenes as Clive, I'm going to comment! Easy Allies, I know Ben wasn't being serious but in the super unlikely event he's in the LA area and wants to do that you're all invited to come and watch!
Duuude, Dissidia 016, pleeeeease. Having Clive repped in a new Dissidia or World of Final Fantasy, that would be so damn exhilarating. And yeah, Clive entering as a new protagonist in the FF pantheon is huge, and I love how much that means to Ben. So cool to see a huge FF fan get to like, wear that badge of honor.
On FFX - Thank you Bennnn. I know people rag on the laughing scene but its intentionally forced. I will die on this hill that ten has amazing performances. When Tidus finds out about Yuna's fate, heart breaking stuff.
I can honestly say that Ben's portrayal of Clive is the best VO in video game History and he damn sure win a game award. I've cried during games before but his VO made me sob. Like pause the game sob and that's never happened before. Any other actor no matter how great wouldn't undoubtedly made me shed a tear. But the emotions in Ben's acting.... My god.
Man, Ben really is the EZA London correspondent. It’s always a pleasure to have you here!
Please make Ben Starr a regular guest, he’s got so much genuine passion and knowledge, along with being a stellar talent
Yeah, We need Ben Starr and Ben Moore as a regular guests
@@AliasProst You've heard of Mike and Mike, get ready for Ben and Ben.
@@AliasProst Has Ben Moore appeared in a single video since he left?
@@NetConsoleI don’t think so
Super chill vibes from this episode. Not only is Ben's voice really nice but even Damiani was like subconsciously mirroring the way Ben talks.
Damiani doing his "professional" (speak slowly and articulate) voice this entire Frame Trap cause Ben is there... pretty funny. 🤗😂
Ben has a voice for radio and the face of a model. Life isn’t fair.
He's our new Brandon Jones
Props for reducing Ben's appearance and the delivered insightful commentary to baseline male objectification. #Gamers

Man, Ben is so stellar in FF16 it’s one of the best lead performances in gaming, period.
Gex being a close second
Performance of the year so far for me. Def deserves VGA nomination.
Extremely well spoken guest, would expect nothing less from Clive Rosfield. Beyond excited for Sea of Stars.
47:48 Ben’s voice is so beautiful that he even sounds nice while saying “poo particles”
I love Ben's facial expressions of genuine joy and wonderment when he's listening to the Allies explain games. So wholesome.

Thanks for taking my question, Brad!
Ben Starr is basically EZA's fifth Beatle.
I mean his last name is Starr..... Do we have a drum kit on hand?
Man, Ni No Kuni is so underrated I'm glad to hear a shoutout.
Ben is incredibly well informed about the industry which makes listening to him such a treat. Brilliant episode, super cosy.
Ben Starr did such a good job of talking and explaining his views, while also asking questions and joining the conversations, it almost like he is one of podcasts hosts.
2:29 Spelunky 2 I feel is also harder in Multiplayer
Fantastic episode. Ben is such a cool guy, I like hearing his thoughts about games.
Wow as a brit I'd never think I'd hear someone mention Wetherspoons in a frametrap episode
Got the plat in FFXVI, that was for you Ben Starr

Damiani's voice is freaking me out on this episode lol
I don't love guests a lot of the time, but by the time I was through hearing him talk about Sea of Stars, I was completely on board. Great episode.

Thanks for taking my question! Will now set up a petition to change the pronunciation of "Geordie".
wow the sound quality was on point for this episode. sounds like all new equipment in the studio!

Ben really has a great presence. He’s engaged and seems very informative/invested in the various discussion, as well as asking good questions.
Ben should start a podcast. i love that he uses indoor voice instead of yelling. Easy allies take notes! 😊
this has to be the best frame trap ever

Yay! The London Correspondent himself, Ben! Legend.
No idea why Damiani is trying to do his best ASMR impression for the whole show, talking almost with a whisper.

Number one Ben Starr fan now ❤
Ben Starr ❤❤❤
I really wish I could hear ben Moore talk about baulders gate 3
Listening to this now while BG3 takes it's sweet time to download. I think Steam servers are overloaded.
Completely agree with Ben on Returnal being harder in cop-op, think it came down to the health resources being shared.
Ben Starr is an international treasure
Everyone needs a Ben Starr in their life and glad to hear he's a videogame nerd like all of us 🎮

YES! Such a jolly guest.
Ben Starrs Voice is the wamest and friendliest thing ive heard in Ages
When I said I miss Ben, I didn't have this in mind. But this is real nice!
It was an absolute Joy bumpin into you guys at Fanfest, hopefully I didn't hold you guys up too long heading back into the conference room 😅
Also Damiani is totally right, Jason and Amanda are total sweethearts to talk to in person and their performances were spectacular.
Blitzball Master is definitely a new 14 job.
Happy that Brad became a cRPG fan, it's never too late :-) Also, Ben was a great guest
Ben is a true gamer.

I was just thinking how i could use a 3 1/2 hour podcast for this BG3 download. Thanks EZA.

Yeah, I agree. Just last year I've replayed FFX, and while it's still one of my least favorite in the series I've had zero issues with VA in it.
Have any allies played the original Balder Gates? Seems like a big blind spot for some of the best games of all time.
@Draffut2003 my favorites were the ps2 dark Alliance games.the pc games were hard.especially the combat
@@paulsmith9192 Not really CRPG's, those were more Diablo style. They were fun though.

I would buy Ben and Suzi doing MSQ on pay per view lol
Absolutely, every day of the week
the asmr episode
Kinda deceptive to title this as Baldur's Gate Bash when the discussion for that game was less than 20 minutes of a 3.5hr podcast lol.
Ngl I saw the name Ben and thought OG FRAME TRAP
Still looking forward to this ep❤
A crew!
Great episode!~
