He was not super performer, he is still one of the best actors of Hindi film industry, most of his films are worth watching even today, he can make you cry, that is pure acting; but few crooks saw it that he didn’t get good scripts/movies and promoted specific persons only (bad actors practiced to become better); while sensible actor like Rajesh was let down, they cornered him, he should have have let them do that and should have bounced back...; actors who are more arrogant than Rajesh talk about Rajesh arrogance.... Rajesh Khanna did not have to struggle for anything (childhood, parents, money, films, fame, ..) except that he didn’t get what he expected from his Lady (ladies- anju, dimple)... life is filled with ups and downs....

perfectionist and passion for his craft ,his super success paved way for insecurity among his co stars. like SSR now the Bollywood ( including Amitab Batchan Evil) gang was out to destroy his career and him.systematically they side lined and boycotted him.
