I never realized until this quest that the landing craft is just a detachable part of the orbiter. I used to think they were one and the same as you always only get to see the landing craft... I was wrong. It's cool that we can finally kinda see what it looks like from the outside

Great observation, was still slightly confused about what that thing was at the drifter camp, at first I thought it was the sleeping orb thing thats waits in a pond on fortuna

That was a good touch that the orbiter on the camp was the same one I had on my settings. They could have gone the easy way to show you the default orbiter during the quest, but it actually shows your current orbiter. Good detail.

That would be somewhat true with liset, but any other crafts and the proportions would be blown right out of the window. I did vaguely remember reading that the landing craft docks on the underbelly of an orbiter, so it doesn't make sense if you use it at all along with the orbiter.

I wanna navigate the place by my own but it seems that I cant
Not too much, hardy any time is spent in the railjack and the portion you need to use necramech, you have an NPC that pretty much one shots anything you don’t.

*SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T PLAYED THROUGH THE NEW WAR YET* The teacher cephelon explains time in a way that leaves it up to a little bit of interpretation, but here is my understanding of it. In our timeline Ballas really does become king (or "Narmer") so the drifters appearance and the way that Nora (Nightwave radio lady) talks about things seems to imply that a decent amount of years have passed. Thus, this timeline must be the current one, but years have gone by. When the young operator appears again he is shocked to see that Natah is still alive, so he must have come from the past where Natah had only recently died and where he still had his void powers. Hope that clears things up! :)
The real us is the operator that “died” by Ballas’s hand/sword. The drifter is the “us” that came from a different timeline where he likely didn’t make a deal with the man in the wall and remained in the void. The drifter references Duviri. The operator that appears later on seems to be another alternate “us”. Who knows where or when they came from.
It's all one big Shrodingers cat. Our operator came from a timeline where he took Wally's deal, Drifter is from a timeline where he never took the deal, the void makes these timelines accessible to each instance.
i think it's 2 different drifters actually the drifter at start of new war (no void powers didnt take wall deal) was rescued from the zariman the operator rescued from the zariman (took the wall deal) drifter after the choice (has void powers) stated she has been on the zariman for a VERY long time never said they left and came back to it (maybe drifter with void powers was watching drifter without void powers after all drifter after the choice and KNEW the operator was coming) and the reason is there is no "operator" without powers is because they would never of been put in statis if they never got saved so a drifter with powers, and a drifter without powers so which time line did we save? well ballas knew about natah and the operator so obviously we saved the operators time line right? did we abandon powerless drifters timeline?
My only issue with the Camp vs the Orbiter is the delay between moving from ship to arsenal. It also seems to be bugged if you move towards the exit in the ship too quickly it just reloads you back in it lol
Maybe now we will finally get separate colors for ship and orbiter interior and exterior. And we could maybe show off our vehicles outside with a special decoration. Perhaps have the railjack float somewhere to the side.
i am so confused why so much effort went into this place. It's really cool but has actual use to it and is only seen briefly running about with lotus? DE confuses me
dont forget the crossplay being pushed back over and over planned to launch with new war orignally 2 months go by, okay we will try to launch it in january beta test early 2022 full launch late 2022 to be continued
@@GGG_gaming I dont think you understand how much of an undertaking crossplay is, dont forget they are trying to make the game work on mobile as well. And i dont think environmental artists are gunna be able to add much more.
I would recommend turning on the new accessibility feature that allows you to hold or tap instead of button mash certain prompts. Several of these are non-avoidable, and depending on how you play there’s even more additional ones too. I turned it on, and not having to button mash was so much better on my fingers.

i think outside of the small low res png files in the skybox in relays this is the first time we actually see the exterior of the orbiter in game

Railjack should be decently leveled, and the necramech basically doesnt matter lol

I tend to fast travel using the menu unless I'm not in a rush and want to walk around the camp and orbiter.
