    I forgot to tell you Alessia, sorry if I misspelled your name, I don't really need subtitles cause I can speak English! I'm just an emotional person. Don't have to call me ignorant! Just because I don't like him as much as you might doesn't mean I'm stupid! If you want to consider someone as ignorant, say things like that to someone who truly is hateful and ignorant, not to someone like me who's easily emotional! Just because I have my sensitivity for people such as him you might like doesn't mean I'm so dumb and hateful!

    Again, you probably didn't pay attention to everything I said that one day ago. I said, "it's okay to play antagonistic characters sometimes cause it can be fun to play" even though I mention something like,"but not all the time". Why don't try to read what I wrote before, as much as possible before you judge me on saying something like, "what's wrong with playing bad characters"?!! I wasn't saying it's bad to ever play bad characters, though I know I have my misunderstandings easily sometimes.

      You used many times the verb "obsess". It's not positive.
      Like if he only searches for bad characters to play, or adds unnecessary layers of bad in good characters.
      I already replied to that comment, though. ☺

    By the way, first of all, you probably don't know me but English is my first language because I grew up my whole childhood life speaking English. Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, or any other language I barely know of. Second of all, again as I said somewhere long before in the past, don't take my words so seriously and literally, because his obsession of money was only something I was saying to express some of my anger about him, which was not meant entirely for you or any particular person who'd be easily offended by my comments, not like it was for real! Did you think I would be so skeptically cruel? Well, if it came out like it, I wasn't trying to be! Besides, I don't know if he's really obsessed with the ideality of money or not. I don't know if he's even about money or not, though honestly, I think so far he looks like he's not about the money. Again, that was my strong expression to express my anger of him. You know, I'm not going to lie and pretend to talk how much I love him when I'm really mad at him! I'm honest about if I was down about things like this, about him and some of his characteristics I mistakenly thought he'd be such a really nice guy and find out he's not always as nice as he seems. Those honest feelings that seem like lust and really cruel things to be saying are really my little once-in-a-while bit of depression of disappointment, some heartbreak, and some anger about it. Those words are not meant to be taken so personally or offensively. I'll talk about how much I love him when I truly feel that I do and not when I'm partially feeling negative or miserable of him. So far, I don't feel much love for him at the moment like I used to. And now I'm in the middle of feeling love for and down about him, but I'm not saying you have to be! I've even mentioned some of those reason before, even if they're not the exact same words as before and now, and still I'm so cruel to you?!!! Why don't you or anyone else who's so easily offended by me and my words try at least to realize they're just personal feelings of my own intended more for the ones who also disagree or find it disappointing to them if it is, not for you to have to be offended and not for real?!! Anyone could have disappointment of someone for something, even if some people have to control it. I'm not the only one to have any, though I may or may not be the first to have any of it for him.

    Although something I'd like to say- what the interviewer was asking Richard Armitage seems obviously like she certainly doesn't know him at all! That's why she told him she thought his character would be really hard and difficult to play, when it's actually the complete opposite way around-it's very very easy and super simple for him like "a piece of cake" to play cause irascible are his number one favorite characters to play, even when he played some protagonist characters before! Although to be honest, in my opinion, the only time I find this character in this particular movie "irascible" is when he was up in the mountain and behaved the way he did mostly cause of his blindness to dragon sickness. Other than that, I find it totally understandable to me of the dwarf's grumpiness is not so awfully bad, like most people might find is so aggressive and mean of him. I think that dwarf is rather someone somewhat truly in-character-terms innocent with lots of deeply emotional anger and mental struggles of his own, easily misunderstood, and very hard on himself for lots of things instead of irascible. I kind of rather admire the dwarf for his characteristics and personality. Not to try to be mean or anything, but maybe Richard is very irascible in the real life deep down inside! I honestly don't know. The basic hard times for Richard to play as one the dwarf characters in the movie is playing a dwarf from very tall height an actor. Other than that, it really wasn't too rough at all for him to play cause he's big and strong of a guy!

    It's nice you got have a great time with him, Alessia Catto. I won't say anything bad about that. Sorry if my dirty comments nearly spoils the good moment you had, which I wasn't trying to! But you, like anyone else, need to sometime realize I'm not trying to be dumb and hateful! Sorry to be your worst enemy! I'll try as much as possible to stop being honest and explain as much as I can if it hurts you so much to hear any of it!

    And, I think these negative things because I have my feelings. There's not much to have to strain about understanding! If you like him, good. But just try to see I'm not the same, I'm different sometimes. I'm not positive thinking like you may be. I know I've sounded harsh, but don't have to be hard on me for it, just because I have some sensitivity too, sometimes like any sensitive person. In fact, it's me who has to try to understand something, which I am struggling with cause I'm confused, not you cause you probably already know him, I don't! If you see good things in him, great! But the problem is I don't! I don't find him good because I don't see much of that in him! If possible you'd have to help me with that, but you don't have to, since I'm rejectable especially to you easily. Try to realize it's me who don't understand, not cause I don't speak English, but cause I'm easily emotionally sensitive. In fact, I doubt very easily also. Those negative comments are also my feelings of doubt in him. At least if you don't doubt of him, you probably might already know him enough to love him as a person and actor he is.

    Alessia Catto, sorry I'm such a coward to you! I'll just have to quit trying to make you, or anyone a huge fan, realize I'm not as hateful as I may seem, cause I'm sure you, like some others, will keep assuming me to be so bad a person just for what I say, after I mentioned the comments are just feelings, not literally to be cruel. I'm sure you really do hate me! It's totally useless for me to keep trying to explain cause you'll still think I'm so cruel and stupid! But don't worry, I'll someday come to a point of not wanting to watch almost anything of him anymore and hopefully for you, you won't have to see any of my comments again cause I might quit this whole thing of me sometime, especially on RUclips. Honestly, to let you know, I just simply don't get him, meaning I don't understand what's so great about him, at the moment, even if I do speak perfect English. Maybe that's what you or some others might want, is for me to disappear from RUclips and for me to not watch any of the videos anymore. Do you want me to lie and pretend to like Richard when I'm really feeling mad at him?!! And I even did mention somewhere that I did like him, but not so much now anyway cause I didn't know him in the past, and I only heard of him when he was in The Hobbit. If I like someone, I'd rather like someone who I would know who they are and not only by their appearances, and certainly, I wouldn't care to like someone truly if I don't necessarily know them at all or much, and that's exactly how I feel I've flunked badly, was that I liked him for a while just because of the way he looked, not for who he really is because I barely knew him at the time and felt down when I did finally know him as a person. I wasn't saying he's exactly that kind of person. I was just saying how I didn't like him, at the moment, for it. Do you think I have to be a huge fan, even if I don't really know him, whether I want to or not? Do I not have a single right to be honest, regardless of how good or terrible it turns out? By the way, I wasn't saying that a couple Blockbuster movies were bad and that he was bad for being in them! I was just mentioning that to let you know he was in one and it was an example, even though you might not need me to mention them, not that I'm saying anything bad about those movies, although to be honest, I'm not a very huge fan of "Into The Storm". But sorry you think I'm such a traitor, if you do! Don't have to make it more obvious than it already is, that I'm being rejected for this, especially from you! Go on and keep rejecting me like I'd ever be a stupid traitor, but even your words someday won't get to me so easily either! Maybe if I were gone or just stopped trying to be nice and honest to you and explain what I mean, maybe you'll be happy! Maybe you rather let me be more upset than I was to not be honest at all or didn't write anything! I even mentioned,even if not completely everything, that when I like him is when I truly like him for who he is, not if I don't know him or know him and feel frustrated about it of him in my down moments. I'm sorry my existence in the comments makes you upset enough to hate me!

      I was only trying to understand why you think this. Maybe you met him and you had a bad impression of him? I don't know.
      I don't hate you, I just found your opinion of him very weird! I mean, I never read someone say that he is interested only in money and fame... I understand the fact that you think he's not a great actor, it's a question of different taste, but I find difficult to understand your opinion of him as a person. Why do you see him badly now?
      Said this, Into The Storm wasn't a particularly good film. I'm a fan of Richard, but I'm not blind 😆

    Another thing, anyone can be greedy and ignorant for money, regardless of whether someone sells movies at Blockbuster and wins all kinds of Grammy Awards or not. Even someone who's not famous at all can be greedy about money too! So even if Richard Armitage does not get involved into too much of that, it's still possible he could be about money, I'm not sure. By the way, in case you don't know yet of him being in any of those kinds of movies, he has been in one Blockbuster movie, "Into The Storm", any others, I'm not sure of. He probably has been in a few others or so as well.

    It's not Thorin Oakenshield who's a bad character! I'm not saying him or a few others. But I do know he's played bad characters in the past, characters other than Thorin. I also know that Richard Armitage likes to play bad characters and it's his favorite thing to do and that he'd find it very hard to play a good character. When he's picked to play a good character, he likes to reveal the bad sides of them instead of the good. I know these things already by now because I read and found out about it of Richard and even some things he says, especially when he says he likes to play the bad guys. I'm not lying or coming up with crazy stories, because I know it's true. I only have made some hard and harsh comments about it because I know it's no joke. Though he's had times when he joked and was sort of funny, the main things Richard says of his characteristics of liking to behave bad, he doesn't joke around at all about it. He actually is serious about some things, though not everything! I just don't find it worth it for me to feel sorry for him for playing tragic parts of a role if it's what he loves to do. And I don't feel sorry for him to even be playing an antagonist because again, it's what he really loves to do. You see, it's not that Richard Armitage is forced to play a bad character anytime in his life, it's that he really wants to do it! Only sometimes he gets picked to and wants to play a good character or protagonist. Most of the time, he would rather either play an antagonist or reveal more the bad side of a good character. He really doesn't like revealing good and positive sides of a good character. Besides, I also don't see how Thorin is so terrible. In fact, I find him to have some good side inside of him, even when he's grumpy, and that he has hardships of his own. It's not much of him I strongly disagree with, it's Richard himself, though am not fully against Richard. I simply dislike how he's always obsessed with playing bad characters all the time. Though I honestly don't know if Richard is nice. I just found him to be really mean sometimes in the past, in which I wish he would be nice sometime!

      I don't understand what's the wrong thing of liking playing "bad characters" or characters with a dark side. Every actor who does his job well searches for the good in the bad and the bad in the good. No one likes one dimensional characters.
      Said that, Richard rarely got an happy, joyful character but mostly because of his looks. As he said in an interview he has a "menacing face". And that's true. Even if he he the kindest. I met him (I filmed this video) and he was very very funny and kind. He is sassy, don't believe everything he says is serious.

      Mean in the past? I can only tell you my experience. He was very sweet with everyone, he looked in my eyes and smiled with the sweetest of smiles, because I brought him some chocolates. He looked like a kid at Christmas. He complimented my boyfriend for his leather jacket and laughed at his impression of Thorin Oakenshield. I know many other people with only good experiences in meeting Richard ☺

  • @kaylamontanez8158
    @kaylamontanez8158 8 лет назад

    Since playing antagonists and irascible characters is so easy for Richard and his favorite thing to play, he probably would have a hard time playing a good character or the good and positive side of the character, and playing a very good protagonist would be very hard and complicating for him. That's just about what happens when he obsesses on playing the total bad guys and majoritively stubborn hard-headed characters too much! Richard Armitage just simply doesn't stick to doing anything important or ever even cares at all to be himself at least sometime in his life! It's okay to play antagonistic characters sometimes cause it can be fun to play, but to over-obsess playing it all the time or every single time without ever having a single love of playing a good character is totally ridiculous, to me. I guess he's obsessed with money, fame, fortune, and a sophisticated crowd to fit in to! Maybe he would've liked it better playing an orc or goblin instead of a dwarf or dwarf leader, since he can't stand playing good characters at all whatsoever! And it's also okay for a protagonist and antagonist to be grumpy, but to make it so horrible in a way as if trying to be a bad example or bad influence is not! I guess he cares about money, fame, and winning all the time(especially at times when he doesn't always win) rather than life, nature, and normality! Maybe he really does like a lot of horror, which I don't like to watch much of! Although, I do agree that playing a very good character and the good and positive side of it can be difficult to do, I don't find it so necessary for him to try avoiding on playing it either! Why on earth does Richard Armitage hate playing a good guy so much?!! Why does he like to obsess the bad guys or always the bad side of a good guy overly all the time?!!

    • @alessiacatto2960
      @alessiacatto2960  8 лет назад +3

      Since when Thorin Oakenshield is a bad character? And what about Mr Thornton? The only bad guy he played is Francis Dolarhyde, and he was able to show the good even in a serial killer.
      I think you are definitely ignorant about Richard Armitage as a person and as an actor. When he'll win tons of awards and will be part only of blockbusters maybe we can talk about his lust for money. Now it's totally absurd.
      From how you write it looks like english is not your first language. Maybe you misunderstood something he said. I'll add some subtitles next time.

    • @AS-yz2iz
      @AS-yz2iz 2 года назад +2

      If you knew anything about Richard Armitage, you'd know that money is not his end goal. He m has simply stated that it would be harder for him to play a kinder, softer character, because it's closer to his own personality. It's often easier for an actor to play something opposite from what they are, because you are really acting and putting on a different persona. When the character has a similar personality and temperament to the actor's, it may be hard to not be yourself and not put something of yourself into the role instead of "becoming the character". To interpret what he said as love of money and fame is beyond my understanding. I have never heard of Richard as being anything but a polite, articulate, and thoughtful gentleman. If you see enough of him you'd see his food sense of humor and realize how humble and intelligent he is, especially compared to most famous people.
