The person who tells me, no, you have to practice fast to be fast, I remind them that the Le Mans racer began creeping around a test yard as a teenager. I fighter pilot began in a low-horsepower prop plane. A sword master teaches his pupils extremely slow, perfect form. Learn right, and speed comes as reflex. Practice slow, multiple repetitions daily. My speed draw was the product of slow motion practice, and a slow draw every day when I got home, and a slow reholster before I went out. When confronted with a threat, I had the pistol drawn before the opponent knew I had a weapon.
