  • In this classic interview from 2004, the world's most admired woman, shares her wisdom and discusses her meeting with Presidents Bush and Clinton, as well as her hit show on Broadway.
Theater Talk is a series devoted to the world of the stage. It began on New York television in 1993 and is co-hosted by Michael Riedel (Broadway columnist for the New York Post) and series producer Susan Haskins.
The program is one of the few independent productions on PBS and now airs weekly on Thirteen/WNET in New York and WGBH in Boston. Now, CUNY TV offers New York City viewers additional opportunities to catch each week's show. (Of course, Theater Talk is no stranger to CUNY TV, since the show is taped here each week before its first airing on Thirteen/WNET.)
The series is produced by Theater Talk Productions, a not-for-profit corporation and is funded by contributions from private foundations and individuals, as well as The New York State Council on the Arts.

She can volley any question thrown at her, especially from these two constipated interviewers. She never breaks character. Amazingly sharp mind.

Dame Edna simply can not be bested! Now that she has retired, I am grateful that we have a wealth of videos of her storied career.

Dame Edna as always, tells it as it is with complete honest and polite truth, veiled in comedy!

This is everything. Absolutely a top favorite of Dame Ednas interviews! Possibly the best. The reality bit was so much fun.

true, but they arent interviewing a real person, they are interviewing a character, which means they themselves have to go off everything Barry has established for Dame Edna as if it were fact. Neither of them are actors, so it can be difficult to act as if this is any truth to what this fictional person is saying,

What were they thinking? don't even try it with Dame Edna!
Brilliant interview????? Edna was brilliant, the interview was terrible, they no questions and pretended to know anything about comedy..... dito!
