Never thought LEGO would make a UCS AT-AT since stability is so important to them, and the AT-AT stands on those thin legs. Amazing that they found a way!
Side note, I still dislike them doing these full black boxes for collector sets. Would've been great to see the AT-AT on Hoth, as the boxes for the Falcon and Star Destroyer are very cool.

I really like the added interior. personnally for me interior is really important and had me hold back on spending that much on a ucs set before maybe pick up this one!
Great interior…..but no toilet! 😂🤣😂 and the reason there’s room for 4 speeders but you only get 2 is probably because you’ll get at least one speeder in the up and coming Hoth Battle Pack (which will also probably give you more troopers to fill up the rest of the seats but will mean buying at least 2 battle packs if not more given the number of seats).
I’ve been building this set over the past couple weeks on and off and I’m nearly finished building it. I have the final box left which builds the head and the outer panels. In my opinion, this set is honestly worth the $800 price tag, the presence of this set is honestly intimidating. This behemoth of a set is probably the most impressive set I’ve ever seen in Lego form. What Lego is able to do here is amazing. Them making this set the size that it is, has as many features as it does and look incredibly screen accurate to what you see on screen in ep5, is incredible. I’d recommend this set to anyone tbh, saving up for this one over the course before it’s retirement is well worth it imo.
@@christopherstein2024 it actually is for the most part. i have a 1/144 model of this and based on the model and a 1/144 figure, converting the judgement to lego, it is minifig scale
As far as the interior I think it actually beats mocs. It has the best interior of a at-at we have seen. However some of the nocs have a more accurate exterior with thinner legs and more accurate looking leg joints along with a more tiled off look. This version however is massive and even a little larger than some mocs.
@@scoutbricks4603 well most people don't like doing stuff that is not intended ,like swapping a mortar stormtrooper helmet with a normal one+we just gonna lose em anyway
Regarding the piece count vs the price, I don’t think the money is based on the number of pieces, but rather on the weight of plastic you receive. If the walker and the falcon weigh about the same, then you really aren’t paying more for the walker.
I think this is my favorite one tbh just because the scaling is perfect, not only does it work excellently with minifigures but you could even set up a hoth diorama with those snowspeeders, most of the other UCS sets are either too big or small in comparison to other existing pieces so they have to be displayed alone
The smooth gear system of the legs would make using it for stop motion so much easier as you don’t have to worry about the model shifting ten degrees left or right for every frame like you do with the rachited joints.
Building it now, and I've got to say.. it's already the best UCS set ever in my eyes. It's so accurate, minifig scale, the interior/ display ability, and you can't really understand till you see it in person.. but it's size and verticality is straight up astonishing. I might even be willing to say it is the most "awe inspiring" Lego set ever made. It really does have a "wow" factor like no other set.

@Future Pants they aren't clones. The empire retired most clones by the time of the battle of yavin. This is the battle of hoth, which was three years later. At this time clones would've made up about 1% of the stormtrooper corps, with ~99% normal humans and a handful of aliens
This is undoubtedly one of the best Lego Star Wars sets of all time but it is just insanely overpriced, especially when compared to the falcon and star destroyer
Especially in England. $800 to £750? ($800 is around £600 currently) Where did they get that conversion rate? I know VAT is added after in the US unlike in the UK, but that can't account for an extra £150.
Just finished the video. And wow the build is very impressive. The tool for adjusting the legs is very unique and the interior is amazing. The snow speeder next to it looks awesome. Well done Lego
I love how they have finally done away with the same faces for the Stormtroopers, it makes no sense as in lore the clones are done away with by A New Hope and they are hiring troops. Love the different coloured faces as well as with the helmets on it makes no difference and it makes more sense in universe, while also being great for collectors in that it brings value to each minifig
@Future Pants Im not saying they were all gender diverse people lol if you read the (now Legends... due to Disney...) books and lore you see that the Empire shut down the Clone program some time after Order 66 between The Return of the Sith and Star Wars (a new hope). These are sets I want to build in the future but I'm not sure if I will have room for more than 1. Plus I want to get one of these sets when I graduate college, as a gift to myself. Can't wait to graduate in 2 years
I haven't got the Titanic or the AT AT (clearly for the latter), but just based on shape of them alone the AT-AT is probably easier to have on display out of the three. The Falcon is just so wide that it requires a whole table for it. The Titanic is very long but a more manageable shape. While I love my Falcon, it really is an impractical set. I'd personally get the AT-AT if I had the choice when I bought the Falcon. Still, you have time to think on it. They're all beautiful sets.
@@GlorifiedShed yeah the only way I would get the UCS falcon is with with special stand like what Bricksie has. Otherwise I would not get the falcon. As long as those stands aren't over $100 (which currently they arent) its a possibility. I do agree the UCS At-At is the easiest to display. I can easily put it on my bookshelf (I need to part down Ewok Villiage and UCS Slave 1 to do so but I could) whereas the Titanic won't fit because it's too long and the falcon I need a stand. Each look fun and I'm sure if I really want it I will find a way or a better set

But on the flip side, the detail on this behemoth is immaculate! It's basically minifigure scale and it has a full interior which is 100% canonically correct, which is absolutely incredible! They even incorporated a function allowing you to "fire" the heavy blasters and move the head It makes me wish they built the Millennium Falcon in a similar way with the technic allowing for a more stable skeleton for a full interior... I think the minifigures are great, but I feel the drivers could have been exclusive somehow by maybe adding arm printing or enhancing the sand blue a little. But other than that I think the minifigures are great and appropriate for the set.
The best part about me seeing this set come it is looking up the reviews for it and re discovering your channel it’s honestly really good to be watching again great content
Love the Falcon custom stand..... makes me think wall-mounting it flat would look sweet too.... replace the engine exhaust with some strong blue LEDs that would cascade across the wall.
“Let’s be honest, all most people remember from the movies is that there were stormtroopers with white gear who were shown at the battle of hoth.” Where are the stormtroopers?
Personally I'm totally in love with this, i don't even know what to say, it is big, massiv, detailed and emblematic. My favorite ship with the imperial star destroyer. If i had the money i wouldn't hesitate a sec to by it...
The UCS Falcon(espescially the LEPU version) the UCS Star Destroyer, and the AMAZING RMS Titanic are just so much better deals to me! even though this is an amazing model...and is huge...i just dont see $800 for it. Maybe $500
When the legs are straightened, how many centimeters there is from the beginning of the front leg to the end of the rear leg? In other words, what is the minimum lenghth of the shelf, which would fit the base of the AT-AT's legs?
1:47 What is that piece of gear you are using to accomplish those hands-off, automatic camera movements? These are techniques that I've only seen used in cinema/commercials. It's an expensive piece of equipment, I'd have to imagine. Can you give me a name?
This amazing and IMO making me want to buy the gunship cause of just how good of a deal it looks at 349. If I had the extra cash this would be a def buy just amazing what LEGO is doing nowadays.
Been wondering ever since Lego started the UCS stuff if they would ever do one of these. There have been some amazing MOC design ones for sale on eBay over the years however this is very impressive. Credit card might get hammered on the 26th of this month. 😁
The Falcon not being discontinued is a sigh of relief for me. Been saving up for it for a while and I was hoping to get it in time, but that's really good news!
When adjusting the legs, do they fold into a position that allows the set to be displayed as if it has just been brought down by the snowspeeder? Thinking of height restrictions when displaying.
Like I say with every expensive Lego Star Wars release: remember, the pricetag is not just for the plastic, it’s also for the amount of work, engineering and time put into designing these things. I can’t wait to get my hands on this!
Anyone notice how lego made sure there was 4 disks on the generator at 8:12 to have a nod at the fans getting mad about the ucs hoth assault set that had 3 😂
The set looks beautiful but the figures are a huge dissappointment for me. 1) Why have they removed the skirt pieces? For 800 bucks it is really not that much to ask for a little piece of cloth. 2) What are these faces? I'm not a fan of the diverse faces but in this case they are extremly inaccurate. This is directly based of the movie and in the entire OT, every imperial was portrayed by a man. Again, this costs 800 bucks and is supposed to be a movie accurate collectors piece, so this is huge dissappointment. 3) I think they could have thrown in the brickbuilt backpacks they used in the past. The troopers sillhouettes look kinda incomplete without them. Well, it least this makes it easier to skip it.
I have this and it is a beast, it is gigantic and the full enterior is just beautifull, id go so far to say that this is probably the best UCS Set ever!
As much as it could be controversial to do certain things for lego that would have political influence and it could be annoying but i love how this set includes a diversity of figures including both male and female, black and white. Now what would’ve been annoying is that if they included alien snow troopers since the empire is xenophobic 😂
I absolutely love this set, it has been and always will be my favorite Lego set ever since I first heard about it. I got the UCS falcon for Christmas last year, and I plan on getting this set this year

not even gonna mention that the FUEL CELLS ARE OCTAN BRAND. Lego out here promoting their lego city gas station
Those fuel tanks look like they're from the good 'ol octan company.
Love the Falcon custom stand..... makes me think wall-mounting it flat would look sweet too.... replace the engine exhaust with some strong blue LEDs that would cascade across the wall.
“Let’s be honest, all most people remember from the movies is that there were stormtroopers with white gear who were shown at the battle of hoth.”
Where are the stormtroopers?
Ah yes, the Imperial AT-AT from the prequel trilogy
I've never been impressed by a UCS set's interior before this. Compared to the falcon this is amazing
Man this set made me lose nnn
Personally I'm totally in love with this, i don't even know what to say, it is big, massiv, detailed and emblematic. My favorite ship with the imperial star destroyer. If i had the money i wouldn't hesitate a sec to by it...
The UCS Falcon(espescially the LEPU version) the UCS Star Destroyer, and the AMAZING RMS Titanic are just so much better deals to me! even though this is an amazing model...and is huge...i just dont see $800 for it. Maybe $500
Absolutely love this set, finishe building it a couple of weeks ago!
Now, imagine Lego making a big (maybe UCS) MTT with lots of Droids and a big (accurate) interior.
This isn’t something I’m going to get but I love how it has the whole interior and I think it would be great for play
Damn I’m definitely saving up for this, it’s beautiful!
I love some of the camera work you did for this review, some of the pans look really nice.
"How is that thing not falling over?" - Commander Wolffe (Star Wars Rebels: S2:E4)
Thank you for bringing in all those other sets for comparisons. Really helps to imagine the size.
When the legs are straightened, how many centimeters there is from the beginning of the front leg to the end of the rear leg? In other words, what is the minimum lenghth of the shelf, which would fit the base of the AT-AT's legs?
That has got to be the best looking UCS ever made
1:47 What is that piece of gear you are using to accomplish those hands-off, automatic camera movements? These are techniques that I've only seen used in cinema/commercials. It's an expensive piece of equipment, I'd have to imagine. Can you give me a name?
Edelkrone, not cheap, but excellent quality
i like the "thick legs" on the atat
This amazing and IMO making me want to buy the gunship cause of just how good of a deal it looks at 349. If I had the extra cash this would be a def buy just amazing what LEGO is doing nowadays.
This thing is going to end so many marriages
Been wondering ever since Lego started the UCS stuff if they would ever do one of these. There have been some amazing MOC design ones for sale on eBay over the years however this is very impressive. Credit card might get hammered on the 26th of this month. 😁
The Falcon not being discontinued is a sigh of relief for me. Been saving up for it for a while and I was hoping to get it in time, but that's really good news!
UCS Millennium Falcon or UCS AT-AT? I think I'd get the AT-AT.
At 2:04, there's a 1x1 blue plate that's not aligned correctly, and that bothers me way too much.
When adjusting the legs, do they fold into a position that allows the set to be displayed as if it has just been brought down by the snowspeeder? Thinking of height restrictions when displaying.
Simply the best UCS Star Wars set in existence
IMO any 800 dollar set shouldn’t contain stickers, especially not that many.
That's one of the main reasons I stopped buying LEGO. The amount of stickers is ridiculous. They just wanna maximize profit.
This is one of the most well made LEGO set I've ever seen
You're video editing does make it justice
A LEGO video on trending?! Congrats David! 👏
Like I say with every expensive Lego Star Wars release: remember, the pricetag is not just for the plastic, it’s also for the amount of work, engineering and time put into designing these things. I can’t wait to get my hands on this!
This is the excuse to literally everything that was/is/will ever be sold during the existence of the humans...
At-ats are so giant that its so spooky in the background😂
Anyone notice how lego made sure there was 4 disks on the generator at 8:12 to have a nod at the fans getting mad about the ucs hoth assault set that had 3 😂
I am definitely more interested in this set more than the UCS falcon (I have the smaller version of it), it just looks so accurate!
Now THATS an AT-AT!!!!!
OMG,why the snow troopers are with black skin? And even female, wtf lego
Wokeness
‘Diversity’ dumb
@@crowbirdryuell including black people is woke?????????? the empire is xenophobic, sure but not racist.
@@CzarPrismo Agree, people don't get together by force, the mote you force them to be diverse the more we will hate each other
Racist and Sexist! Congratulations
I absolutely love this set, it has been and always will be my favorite Lego set ever since I first heard about it. I got the UCS falcon for Christmas last year, and I plan on getting this set this year
