I got a 500cc after passing my test a few months ago. I recently went out for a 100 miler which was really fun. I got back and forgot I needed something from the shop so I jumped on my old 125cc lexmoto Isca and I don't think I stopped laughing all the way to the shop. It was just so cute and small and chuckable. It was trying so hard 🙂 I was going to get rid of it but I might just keep it now!

Mate what was your opinion of the Lexmoto bike? I’ve just passed my CBT and looking for a 125cc bike, but I can’t decide if I should buy a new Chinese built Lexmoto or a 2nd hand Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki etc that is a few years old? Some have said buy new as you’ll get the warranty but others said buy a 2nd hand Japanese bike because their more reliable and better built and you can get the parts if you need too repair it🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

@@matty6848 I'd love to give you a solid answer, but the truth is it depends what you're after and what situation you're in.
If you're going to pass your big bike test after your CBT or want as little fuss with a 125cc as possible, buy new. No MOTs, you'll know its condition, you can get things repaired under warranty easily if your dealer is decent.
If you don't really care about history or condition (kids tend to rag them and not look after them) and you're mechanically competent and have time to fix potential issues, get a second hand honda, yamaha or whatever.
If your intention is to pass your bike test as soon as you can and you just need some wheels, get a second hand lexmoto lol
My Lexmoto still works fine. It's only done 4k miles, I've looked after it, serviced it to schedule. It's relatively comfy and does all my short trips well. Used to be my trusty commuter before covid and is now relegated to going shopping. I've taken it on 100+mile rides occasionally. I've got no real reason to keep it but every time I think about selling it I don't. It will need the brakes checking, new chain and whatnot before its MOT in Jan though. Luckily the Isca has been renewed so in theory parts shouldn't be an issue.
Someone else might have a different experience. They might have bought their Lexmoto, not serviced it, run it like a dog, dropped it a lot, revved the nuts off it and it's broken inside 6 months and they've blamed it on Lexmoto because it's cheap.

@matty6848 I've had a lexmoto isca as long as it's been looked after and serviced regularly then it runs like a dream unfauntley the previous owner was shit at running the bike in and probily diddnt service it often and me being new to bikes I wasn't the best at knowing when to service the bike the only major issue I had was I think the crank went just over 17k miles but I can almost guarantee that was probily my fault because I ragged the bike about. I also did a 250 mile road trip hardly stopping and I think the bike was running to hot cuase it wouldn't go past 45 mph but to be fair I basically red lined each gear so ye but on that trip it averaged 70-80 mpg if you rode better then me you could probily get alot more mpg when I can afford to I'm looking at buying another one or mabey a lexmoto assault

Quite an impressive set of specs for a 125cc machine 👍. Nice to see someone introducing new riders to the fun of SuperMoto, even if you might have to “fiddle” with the forks and rear shock to get it more “on its nose” 😉. (I shouldn’t say these things, I’m such a bad influence 🤪.)

I do miss my Pulse and Lexmoto Adrenaline. You can't beat the price for what you get but I found that there was always constant minor issues occurring. Not so much of an issue with the 2 year warranty but definitely a little frustrating after buying a brand new bike. Supermotos will be my go to for a long time now

I have to say it's a little underwhelming, that the bike only reaches 65MPH despite being the full 14.8 BHP for learner legal and with an extra gear, my old 2013 Sinnis Apache I owned 5 years ago before passing my full bike test would do closer to 75 MPH GPS recorded. I think the gearing needs changing on this model. I purchased an AJS JSM 125, just for the sake of memories and a good project recently, I used to love whipping around on 125s but I will have my 500 still for serious stuff.
