Eventually figuring out how the play needs to adjust to win the game/conditions/occasion (obviously United aren't at the top of the world anymore but there's a spirit that is within both dynasties that just never says die) and staying humble is another trait I've noticed the best is a feature in great teams.. I said to my wife during the game when we were 6-15 down with 14 odd minutes to play, us South Africans don't take lying down and admitting defeat very well. At the time, neither of us knew if the Boks would be able to overturn the deficit. But overcome it they did, because THEY knew, even if we didn't. And that's why they are world champs.
