Thank you so much for this video. Despite endless tweaking, it felt like I had to choose between 60 fps with weird graphical glitches or regular graphics but loads of stutter. Now it runs better than the Switch version. Subscribed.
dude thank you! lol. I was leaving it in "docked" and that definitely causes issues. Once I went to "Handheld" i could lock 60 even with HIGH instead of normal. Using FSR and FXAA definitely helps too - you get a great looking image at a locked 60
Looks solid. I believe that emulation on Deck only gets better as devs will optimise their soft for it …but as for now your channel is a godsend for us. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for this guide. It helped a lot. The only part I got stuck at was it looked like you dropped the .ZIP mod files in the game mod directory ... but you dropped the folder in the .ZIP file instead, in the directory. After I figured that out, all is good.
Thank you for the guide. I got it to work, but my Link can't run. It seems that the Steam joysticks don't have the same "range" as Switch controllers. I messed around with the controller settings; range, curve, deadzone and more, but I can't fix it. Any clue what I might need to change here to make it work?
In some games I noticed that balancing TDP and and GPU limits make games smoother and less power efficient. Limiting cores to 4 in yuzu is great option. Did you make Kirby playable?
Could you theoretically lock this on 30fps in order to get a longer battery life? Have you experimented with that? I feel like it's not a game where I need 60 and wouldn't mind getting 3+ hours of battery.
Hi. On another video one person was saying only to disable odd numbered cpus, that changing other things in power tools could comprise the steam deck. So I wonder if I should set the minimum frequency to 3500. Anything to say about this? Thanks for the video!
i own this game physically, i downloaded the fitgirl repack to try and get the .nso, its only 1.01 so i cant get 1.00 without hacking my switch and dumping my cartridge?
Manged to lock at 60 at around 12w so its over 3 hours battery life Using your settings except: change cpu frequency limits to 2ghz min 2.8ghz max (in powertools) set gpu frequency at 800mhz (in performance tab) Set Tdp to 6 watts (in performance tab) After shader caching for a while its locked at 60 and pulling 11.3 to about 12.8 watts about 3 hours 15 mins of battery
@@optimizedgamer When you set preferences in Yuzu Desktop mode for one title..... and save changes and close Yuzu & switch to Steam game mode.... and start the same title there..... do your applied Yuzu settings from desktop mode will still be valid when starting the game through the Steam menu ??? I am bothered with this one because I can see when playing the same game in Desktop Yuzu mode VULKAN is applied in games, but when starting the game in Steam OS there is no "Vulkan" sign but "Gamescope".... ????

For those still having issues: copy his settings at the bottom left of his yuzu home tab at 1:31

Thanks so much! You didn't only solve the whole problem, but also did it quickly and straight to the point
I have this game on Switch but I'd rather play on my Deck :D
dec 2023 used the mods and power tools tips, not rock solid but still helps performace alot
Deck is truly a Switch killer
Worked perfectly!! Thanks !! Liked and subbed
Thank you for this!! Runs amazing!

This was really helpful, thanks
Followed all the settings, and playing on v1.0 and still can't get above 30fps unless i'm inside a building. Not sure what else i can do.
Did you solve it? Mine goes above 30 but crash with some minutes of playgame
Very Helpfull Thank you!!!!!
Stable 60FPS mod: This content is no longer available.
Can you send a new link? Thank you!
It worked perfectly. Thank you! Can I keep the same general settings for other switch games?
Thank you for the guide.

"battery life is pretty good too"
says that as we see on screen how fast the minutes are dropping from the battery timer

Yeah, but It still drops to 20FPS in some huge scenes.
@@optimizedgamer The same for me :( It would be great if there was framekiping instead slow downs.

Hello, I recently installed the game and I get an error that the game does not have a list in the keys I have, could you send me your keys pls?

Try it out. This was the only way for me to get almost perfect 60 FPS with high GPU Accuracy
Do some fire emblem three houses and the incomming new one on friday please
When I set the cpu to 3500 or anything similarly high the frame time becomes very consistent, but I see major stuttering
Thank u!
Hi, the links are not working anymore :/
Love this game
Can you get the same performance on DOCKED mode?
No.
@@optimizedgamer I did.
I saw one of the chomps in the video was invisible. These tweaks don't fix that issue, don't they? If not, is the game still beatable? Thanks!
In this video you have the exact setting that fixes this problem.... I posted the footage to show how it works on the default settings.
@@optimizedgamer Ahh, that's great! I thought that maybe was unfixable, thanks!

At 1x resolution with high accuracy? Seems crazy, but I need to try it.
Nah, It drops to 40FPS in water area, 50FPS in heavy grass. I will try to tweak it a little bit, but cannot get stable performance with your settings.

I don't like the art style it looks like a joke
I grew up playing Zelda on the NES. I love the art style.
