    I ve been watching this video for years and I can t believe I have never left a comment. I ve been playing guitar for over 50 years and I ve done a fair amount of teaching in that time so feel I am qualified to remark on this. Absolutely brilliant. I can never tire of this inspired performance. Both these brothers are amazing. I remember a few years ago when I was back in my native Scotland nobody I spoke to had ever heard of these guys. They certainly had after I finished eulogising about them. Great stuff.

    Just chanced across these guys amid the ocean of blues within the university/ocean. I’m an old guy , ran away to London Town in the late 60’s , chance meetings and roadying got my ignorant/ virgin bonce dragged along to late sessions (Troubadour , 100 club , Ronnie’s etc etc) by Alexis Korner (et-al) , His Roriness the Gallagher , The sublime Peter Green (gawd bless) , Davey Grahame , John Genius Martyn , Tony Mc Phee , Jack the Bruce and others . . I was a very lucky skinny scouser tike . It’s thus great in these times to be awoken by real talent and real feel for the blues , these guys seem to have been blessed with it , all power and love to them ! Richard Hepburn

    Absolute MASTERPIECE Guys! It kind of sucks that the majority of incredibly written, and played tunes like these do not get the mass flow of attention they deserve, but in a way that's kind of good, because it leaves them special to all that have discovered it! The NIMMO Brothers are the real deal and I hope they keep on jammin' and obviously keep doing what they love! Great Post!

      Hey Bob, Not only are these cats amazingly good in both their musical talents but they have the gift to relate to the audience on the same level , very important on the showmanship end of things. Perhaps once this pandemic has gotten under control they will make it here to the States to play either as The Nimmo Brothers or with Alans band King King of which Steve joins them on occasions. I would love to see them play.

    • @paullevine1813
      @paullevine1813 6 лет назад +5

      Billy,, Why would you listen to a blues band if you didn't care for the blues ? Great playing should command respect whether or not you care for the genre. As the blues is about real life i take it those that are not fans of human emotion lack much in the way of those feelings. Bottom line in truth your very right about many that can't play music & think they can are way out in left field. I've been playing since the late 60's & come across these fools many times. According to the one who says your'e view is unwarranted they really have no clue when it comes to defending commercial shallowness. I speak as player not as a listener . It does scare those that come to the realization they will never play this well . If you have a moment here's some of my personal work... ruclips.net/video/RHj04fFTrZI/видео.html&feature=em-comments Please feel free to leave me a comment good or bad.

      @@paullevine1813 Exactly Paul! It's like he just came here to criticize! No other genre has the creativity that Blues has to where each musician can have their part in the song to either solo or put their expressions into the song. On radio and music today, they ignore this talent and would rather play the shortest songs possible to appease their advertisers for the most part.

    • @paullevine1813

      @@DallasBobGTO How true Bob. I think to many feel that Blues just means all the music is depressing & made to make you feel low. Man that view is way off the mark. Blues is about all things in life good & band. It can make you feel great or drag you through the gutter. Just how real life is. I realize Billy's & my comments are rather old & i was hoping he may reply or listen to some of my work with & with the band i play in now. but he never did. If you like Blues i would love to share those posts i have . One is my own song which is a Rock tune & the one with the band is our take on Messin' With The Kid.
