    Thanks fir the tips Steve. Hadn’t thought about the freeze pedal. Phrygian is one of favorite modes to play. I usually let am open E ring to play over it.

    Great video, I've been wanting to pick up a looper pedal but I didn't even know that freeze pedal existed. That is a great ear training tool!

    Great video! I've thought about buying a looper for a while and you might be pushing me over the edge. I see that you're using the Ditto X2. Does one need that specific pedal or can these suggestions work with the 'regular' Ditto..?

      Thank you, Rob! All of these techniques will work great with the standard Ditto. I prefer the X2 only because it has a dedicated stop switch which is necessary for some of my performance needs. There are a lot of other options out there with a stop switch such as the MXR Clone Looper and the boss RX20xl.
