This was probably one of Jey's best promos in a long time. He seemed relaxed and on point, and I feel like that's because he's better when he isn't pushing a story angle or expected to riff using his catchprase so much. Aside from that, Jey is a hard worker with or without a title, and it's nice to see the fans recognizing that. 👏

I don't love his matches, but few WWE stars speak and connect authentically from the soul like Jey. Vulnerability is his super power and that matters. WWE was right to book him as champion, and I'm grateful he had his moment as champion. He will always have that when his time comes.

He will always be a loser😂 I’m half Samoan and I’m disowning him. Had that been the rock or any other legendary Samoan wrestler they would’ve won. Guess Jey Uso doesn’t have what it takes to be legendary like the rest of his relatives. Oh well the title of weak loser fits him well glad I tuned out of raw before the match even started. Saved myself from watching a very disappointing match from a very mid tier Samoan wrestler Jey Uso. Never will you ever see me giving that man an ounce of respect after losing his title to someone who can barely wrestle. That man won the royal rumble and headlined wrestle mania against one of the best wrestlers in the business and took the title from him. Gunther is one of the best wrestlers in the world. I never understand why this Jey never showed on TV, the relaxed, funny, chill Jey that doesn't have to riff a catchphrase every 2 minutes, and act like he's going to not be taken seriously if he's not trying to look tough, they let Jimmy and Solo be more like themselves on promos but not Jey which is really unfortunate, I mean that was the best YEET I've ever seen it felt natural and just perfectly timed and done

His move set was limited and the YEET gimmick/entrance kept him over, but he was honestly the MVP of the Bloodline Saga in terms of the acting & emotion he’s shown since Roman’s first feud as Universal Champion to the whole Sami Uso arc.
