Carpodgo, love the windows safari like. Just fitted one to my T5 from transporter hq, great for ventilation when it gets warm at night. Be interested in seeing your Victron setup when it happens…👍🏻

Carpodgo.... The build is going good...... I put up the roof vents in more or less the same spots u did,on my build...... the only thing I found is went driving the one to the front of my van was very noisy with the wind ..
Carpodgo Great job like the fan but don’t like the way it looks so bulky but if they are as good as they say at venting hot air from yr van then job done , look forward to the next vid cheers
Carpodgo The Police here use the Maxxair units on their Dog vans. Can you get another one of the inner covers with the LED lights, fly screen and blind? or will the Fiamma version like that one fit? Worth keeping those other vent fittings with the holes in, our Fiamma vent is one with a permanent airflow - great when you are travelling on hot days, stops the rear of the campervan getting too hot and stuffy. Its also good on warm nights, keeps the temperature okay if there is a bit of a breeze. Even better as you can swap them over as and when needed.
Carpodgo One question i have is how do you plan where wires are routed? Do fans lights wiring go to van fusebox or run through seperate fusebox linked to leisure battery? Enjoying your build videos 🐈👍
Everything will go back to a separate fuse box on the leisure battery. Best way to think is everything that is switched on goes to the switch wherever you want to fit it. And then power to the switch from the fuse box. Everything else generally goes back to the fuse box. I’ll do a few videos on the electrics
