Another nail in Minneapolis's coffin.
They didn't fail Minneapolis failed them.
Their bad food and bad breath led to this.
There is still a restaurant operating in uptown Minneapolis?
Minneapolis has been destroyed by WOKENESS. Sometimes miracles happen, so there may be hope of the city's resurrection.
2 years of a pandemic that was supposed to go away "like a miracle."
Oh, and it wasn't "wokeness" that caused the George Floyd riots, it was the repeated abuses of the Black community that white Americans ignored for decades.
@@Matt-fl8uy Yeah, right. Burning and looting is normal. Wow, I can't believe the ignornace that floats around in this world.
@@workinprogress3609 Had the issues been addressed earlier, things wouldn't have gotten to that point.
Not defending destruction of property or assult, just saying nothing appeared to work before the BLM protests and later riots (which had a significant number of out of area whites join in, many with conservative ties).
@Matt as an out of area white conservative, I can assure you there were only liberal whites there lol no conservative would be caught dead in this bs
@@nightshade8445 Check the arrests. During the summer BLM protests were taking place, there was a massive uptick in whites from outside of the protests traveling in to cause violence and mayhem.
My hunch is they were trying to discredit the protests. The records are public, if you're not afraid to do the research.
So sad, It's greatly missed whenever I go back to MPLS. The Curried Beef...Oh, I'd love to have that recipe, so goooood and nostalgic for me.
Good job democRATS. This is just one of countless consequences of lockdowns and mandates.
Really great food. Have been going there for decades. I think what's hurting them is the parking situation. Last couple of times I tried to stop in there was no open spots. The time before that I think the tiny side lot was shut down for construction. If they still had a place open in Richfield I would be stopping in more often. Hope business gets better for them. Will try to stop in at a time when I don't have to park two blocks away.
Or people don't want to get shot while eating
@@nightshade8445 life is dangerous NightShade. You better just stay inside, order some pizza.
@@phacelesshero best way to stay safe 👍
Sure they could open up in the suburbs and be successful.
Why is a 35 year old restaurant paying rent? They should own that location by now.
If people bought buildings instead of rent.
@@xancypillosi if you're a business owner you can relocate and find property you don't have to lease.
@@xancypillosi a restaurant should be bringing in more than 2,500 a day if it's going to be viable. There are plenty of other Vietnamese restaurants in Minneapolis that own their own property and they are not going bankrupt.
@@xancypillosi you don't have any clue about my ancestors and what we do or do not own. Leasing a building for 35 years is is it expense a business it should avoid. Many business storefronts in Minneapolis used to be out of homes. So they didn't have to pay leases
@@xancypillosi you know so much about business just give them money on their GoFundMe... I'm sure you'll be able to help save them.
You can section off your house from the business. Many houses are right next to business zones. But cities like Minneapolis and liberal shitholes don't permit people to run businesses out of their home generally because of zoning restrictions.
The food looks good. But because of inflation most people are not going to eat out. Besides I don't even live in Minneapolis I'm closer to Maplewood which also has a lot of mom and pop restaurants struggling.
Most restaurants outside of Minneapolis are setting all time highs! At least for davanni's where I work at. Every single store at all time highs.
Food looks good but isn't.
When are you going to wake up Minneapolis more business closings are coming if you keep putting in the same political party
I used to get chicken fried rice at least twice a week from there. I will miss this spot
Oh shit. I used to go here.
If the food and wokeness wasn't shite
It won't return to its Glory Days because when people are afraid their instincts is not to move
Holy crap the guy narrating this is so over the top with his news persona
It sounds like it is time to move the business or change something. The city council could really hep by pushing to clear the area of druggies with arrests and prosecutions. The druggies are what keep my family away.
Lmao uptown ghetto as hell now it's up in good go thugs😅😅😅😅😅😅😍😍🥳🥳🥳🥳
deliver farther please 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Oh wow that's crazy... the food there is fantastic!!
I live in Burnsville there's a Asian restaurant near me that I go to since it's so close sry but I have no reason to go all the way to Minneapolis to get Asian food
Yes they could relocate
Defunding the police and handing the streets over to the thugs is working out!
Exactly.. I remember a decade ago where I'd be down to even live in uptown. I hate hate hate hate woke culture! They wreck everything for everyone! God damn I hate them .
Police aren't spectacular either from what I've seen.
When did they pass a budget that "defunded" the police?
@@ShainAndrews Minneapolis did in 2021
@@rack9458 I see that. It is going to take a long while to turn things around in Minneapolis.
They need to move their business to one of the upper echelon suburbs, like Maple Grove, Minnetonka, etc. Mpls is a big fat 💩hole now. Ain’t nobody got time for that!
Get out ofMpls then your business will go. No one wants to be in Mpls now.
How to go from Woke to Broke!
Wouldn't be terribly surprised to find out a developer is acquiring property. Wait for lobbying for zoning changes... then the gentrification starts. Otherwise a paying tenant is better than no tenant.
Uptown could sure use some gentrification right about now, it’s a shithole recently.
The food is AMAZING, I'd be so sad to see this place go!
Food must not be good if you can’t pay the rent
Democrat destroys everything
🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽
Woke-a-sota
Move to the burbs is my suggestion... I used to go here for food but I can't stand woke culture..
I am so sorry
