Wei Ying, was always the better person, unlike Jiang Chang who was jealous, insecure, bitter, very self centered just to name a few of his many faults. And Jiang was pissed when Wen Ning said what he said in front of Lan Zhan because now there is someone else who knows the truth.
This proves one thing no matter how powerful and accomplished a person might be in the end he still have to bear the tantrums of his nosy in-law's. Poor lan zhan have to accomodate this crazy brother in law for the rest of his life.

Ah, yes… their marriage in front of WWX’s family🥺 and then JC coming to settle a score that jo one provoked him into. Now that he’s here to pay his respects, kneeling before your family like you wanted him to several episodes ago, you want him to leave. I understand JC’s pain, but he overstepped here, both in the drama and the novel. He involved someone who did not need to be involved and dragged LZ down out of jealousy and spite. I understand that he’s angry and hurt, but, like WWX will say later, JC loses himself when he is angry and often forgets his manners.
@@rheapunzel3 that’s true. Some people romanticize that, as they think it’s cute but really, it’s a little bit selfish and toxic. And I’m glad they didn’t romanticize it in the Untamed. They made it look the way that it is-toxic and dangerous when it comes down to the most crucial moments.
he saw how the 2 hugs under the tree, he saw how the 2 interact romantically before WY beings LZ inside their ancestor hall. its like, yeah deep down they love each other as brothers, he love his elder brother but they are not OK yet..they havent talk properly yet, he just know WWX was slandered and framed but he dont know the full details yet. so his anger and hatred wells up to the extreme when he saw the two inseperable like that. he had lost his elder brother to Wen clan before, the despair, the question of why and where did the brotherhood went to?..JC inherit his mother spiteful mouth and angered heart. im not saying he handle the situation well, but damn, it was not easy to accept everything you believe for 13 or so years was all wrong all along and you have wronged someone dear in your heart. your elder brother.
@@angeljella399 true true. But that’s the novel version of what happened. None of the tree hug happens in CQL, because **blegh** Censorship rules and all that BS. And yeah, JC did inherit Madam Yu’s spiteful attitude-but what can you do? That’s how she raised JC. In all honesty, we see that it was generational trauma that made JC and WWX’s bond so inherently fragile. The expectations of the older generation fell on JC’s shoulders and he is constantly compared by his elders and always put up against WWX. Despite his love for his brother, the amount of negativity he had to out up with growing up made him emotionally constipated and unable to air out what he really feels.
@@IvanIsYda_ would it be too much..if I ask for new sets of books but in LZ point of view?. we have WWX point of view, mind and heart into words...i think it will be great if we have LZ part too right. we can only assume on how we accept and understand the story but its still different if we have it from the author right....
