Camposol to Bolnuevo via the Mazarrón country club and the Mines | Aprils group bike ride

- Camposol free community sports group bike ride. Starting from the petrol station (Tangerina) on sector B. We well be heading towards Bolnuevo via the service road to the Country Club where we will join the vía verde down past the Mazarrón mines then turning left on to the green cycle path towards the miners roundabout, then first exit on roundabout past Decklids and joining the service road by the Mercadona. Then we will join a gravel track to Bolnuevo and stop for refreshments in the La Freshca Bar. After going to the sand sculptures, then onto the swings and then back to the beach bar where I will get my surprise.

That was a brilliant bike ride Steve! What a great way to end the outing with a drink at the chiringuito and meeting up with your family.

It was a great day out, although it was a shame we had to abandon Stuart due to the puncture. It was the best kept secret ever. You will have to join us on one of the rides when you come over next. 😎👍

Hi Wayne, one the group ride it took about 1.5 hrs to ride to Bolnuevo, it would normally take me about 45 mins to an hour on my own. All group ride are published on the Camposol free community sports fb page.
is there a part two how you all got back home from there? or do you go back same way up that steep hill?
No part two I’m afraid… just returned the way we went.
Hello Steve, how do you find the dog situation over in Spain? There's seems to be a few chasing you on some of the rides. They don't seem to be tied up or behind private property. I know recently , an elderly lady was attacked by one on Camposol.
Worries me, because I don't like dogs. Is there a lot of barking on Camposol, do people keep them on leads?

Hi Marc, I don’t see many stray dogs on my travels around the Camposol area as there area a few charities that go out searching and rescue them. When it come to doge that chase me it’s mostly guard dogs from the farms I’m passing, where the farmer has left the gates open (it’s not fun having 5 dogs chasing you) most guard dogs are behind fences. I haven’t heard about the lady being attached on Camposol. Where I live I’m lucky enough not too have many dog’s living around me but that could easily change if someone moves nearby with dogs. When it come to leads it’s a bit of a mixed bag some do some don’t.
@@Exploring_Murcia_and_Beyond I bet it's not fun, that's what worries me. The lady was bit on the throat, so l don't know if she's ok or not. Murcia Today reported it, but it will probably get brushed under the carpet like the many other attacks.
