My First wife actually believed WE were the Rescue Animal Society, 14 Dogs, Two Horses and a splay footed calf that thought he was a Dog. Then it got interesting.
The moment he said he worked hard on it and was presenting tomorrow, I let out a moan of dread. Which reminds me, I should probably check on that noise upstairs. Pretty sure everything important/dangerous is out of reach, but I've learned to not underestimate the power of the Dog Side.

King Charles dogs are being inbred to oblivion, the breeders only want a very specific characteristics, so dogs that have them become parents to many puppies which are bred with their parents and grandparents to preserve those characteristics. Due to that their gene pool is incredibly small and a big part of the population suffers from their brains overgrowing their skulls. That leads to pain nothing can stop and dogs need to be killed, but at that point it's a mercy act, cause they are in agonizing pain all the time. I'd cry because of that as well.
