I love Canadian people and I like Mad TV very much
You're a very good Teacher
Thanks so much, from USA (United states Afghanistan)😎😎🇦🇫🇨🇦🇦🇫🇨🇦🤗🤗
I am living in Vancouver. This place has some advantagies and disadvantagies... But the weather is really good even in winter! And the nature is beautiful!
I am living in Prince George and it is a lovely place. It is a city having a population of around 80000. I find the people here very friendly. I love my university UNBC - it is small and beautiful, at the top of a mountain. There are many trails connecting the university to the downtown. I love hiking through the trails. I have always lived in big cities in India, but not really a fan of big buildings and a lot of concrete. I always dreamt of living in a place having a lot of greens, houses having peaked roofs and surrounded by mountains. I love Prince George.
That's great! 😃😃
Thank you for the lesson, Mark! It has extended my knowledge about Canada a little bit. 👍👍
You're welcome! 🤗
Hi Mark,
I love to live in the town much. the town has a lot of things better than the city life such as safer, cheaper, fresh air, clean vegetable... :)
We do have a cross country railroad, it's mostly used for cargo though ... it was inaugurated in 1881. It was a priority at that time because our government was afraid that the USA would take possession of the western part of Canada.
In Canada, the distances are so huge and the population is so small that passenger traffic is limited ... VIA Rail operates passenger traffic across the country. However, most people prefer to fly because it's much faster than using a train.
I like your way of talking, you are so polite and great 👍
I am nature's lover man, I always prefer calm and pristine place. I love to live in small town.
That's great! 😃
I think there are a couple of reasons you haven't a high speed train: 1) distance - it is too far from one coast to other. Even fast train would go 30 hours and the price could ever be higher than by plane (see Amtrak prices), 2) technical problems with building the tunnels, as you brought up, 3) snowfalls. In this light planes seem to be a better mean of transportation.
Yeah, I think the snow would be a serious factor. We need a hyperloop. Have you seen that?
Yes, but only on a picture :)
If we got that, it would solve the snow issue.
But Trudeau must find a lot of treasure chests before :)
Haha, we can just borrow money from China. 😜
thanks. it was very easy to understand the way u made u understand. now I can tell anybody the provinces name easily just to remember they all in a straight line. this is the first time that i understood it easily. wonderful. i love Toronto and I'll live in Toronto in future also.
😃😃
i think i will love Altona in Canada. I like small cities. Thank you for show me your beautiful country! A Hug from Brazil!
I love your T-shirt collection
So bright colors and nice designs
You are very stylish and ........ !
I'll be coming to Burlington, Ontario by the next week. Thanks for the information on differences among cities and provinces. The topic was interesting.
Hi Mark, i really love you videos, very clear, informative and interesting. But i really hope that you can add subtitle on your videos. That would be very helpful !
Did you try clicking the CC button below the video?
Sorry dear gao elsa I am not recommand that the teacher Mark shuold add subtitle on the vidoes . Thanks
Because the students might consitrate about reading the subtitle only not lestining .
Thanks my openion .
Large cities such as greater Toronto and greater Vancouver are very expensive to live. If you don't want to pay incredible rents or incredibly high mortgages, then you had better not think about living in those two urban areas I have just mentioned.
That's very true!
Great information! If I come to Canada, I'll stay in the west coast. I'm afraid of very cold weather, even though I like it.
Haha, good choice!
* on the West Coast.
Thank you Mark, for the information about the culture in Canada.I would like to live in Ontario and Ottawa, but before I would reach that place,I will take first the celpep exam and passed for my application job!
In a small town must be cool as you told. That's will be my choice.
That's great!
Hi Mark, well I don't know much about Canada, maybe Vancouver is going to be my favourite place to live.🌺🌺🌺
😃😃
I'm lucky to meet you. I like warm weather. But my daughter lives in Subury near Toronto. So I have no idea to choose where I stay. Thanks a lot.
That's great! I like warm weather too. 😊
hi . we would like more of these sort of videos where you explain more about the towns/cities and what makes each one different from another.😊
Thanks Mark!!I prefer warmer climate to live!!Sorry i forgot...i mean West Coast in Canada
Hi Mark,
I never been in Canada but I want to visit it some day.
Awesome! You're welcome to visit!
Great presentation with a lot of specific and helpful information to live in Canada. Vancouver is my dream city to live. I hope someday....
Excellent class !!! I would live in Manitoba.
Awesome! Where are you from?
Please do video about weather temperatures in all provinces at all seasons.
Right now i am staying in Brampton city of Canada. I love to stay Toronto side another part of Canada. Toronto is nice always active city. Main attraction of Canada is Toronto is the one of them.
That's great!
Is this my English writing is correct?.
No, it's not correct.
* Right now I'm living in Brampton which is a city in Canada. I love to stay near Toronto rather than the other side of Canada, because Toronto is always full of life. One of the main attractions in Canada is Toronto.
Thank you for sharing man, I'd like to live Toronto city of Canada, hope one day will see you around in the Canada Sir.
I have a friend who lived in Bolton , Ontorio . I want to visit him someday. 😊
Hello Mark. I am living in Lethbridge. see you soon
If you asked me where I would like to live, in Australia or Canada I would choose Canada because I like cold weather . I prefer more small towns lying next to big cities. I looked at the map and I think that Vancouver maybe Victoria can be this the big city.
Victoria would be a great place to live! 😃
Vancouver and Victoria are the least cold cities in Canada.
Is cost of living also high in Victoria? being a BC city.
I m interested in Calgary because more jobs available in oil n gas field
That's great!
Not anymore!! With the drop in the price of a barrel of oil, it has become difficult to find a job there.
You're right.
Hi!
If I was an immigrant in Canada, I would live in Vancouver BC.
Take care!
You are great. I also like trains very much.
Thank you very much for this class! I want to make a Exchange language in Canada. Which city do you recommend me?I discovered your Channel this week!I like It! God job! I am Marcelo from Brazil!
Hi Marcelo! 😃 Welcome to my channel! That's great that you want to come to Canada. My favourite Canadian cities are Vancouver and Montreal. But Montreal isn't the best place to learn English, haha.
Banff is the place Ive loved the most
Hi Mark, is it true that the rich people in Canada prefer to live in the small towns or the villages, while more and more urban poor groups dwell in the cities there? In China’s big cities especially in Peking and Shanghai, the similar phenomenon of “the rich are escaping from cities” has been observed by thinkers. Thanks and blessings! Tom
Rich people usually live in the suburbs and have big houses. I think most small town people are middle class. Some farmers are very rich.
Could you make a video guiding the process of buying a house in your city, Calgary?
So informative ...thanks for sharing ..
😃
Thank you mad English teacher! Thank you so much!after a few months when I can say something English I will call you my name is Robert zhang I am from China now live in Toronto l like English so much!
I know Toronto, Barrie and Calgary -
But I would like to live in Calgary
Barrie is a nice place too, but iI loved Calgary
😃😃
hi,i always live in toronto 2 or 3 month every year.
From Winnipeg ✋🏽
😃😃
How can I contact with you, Faiza, please?
I am living in GTA, Ontario and actually, I rarely can find original Canadian here. A lot of immigrants near me. Sometimes I feel confused if I am staying in Canada..haha.
Nowadays I am having extremely cold weather, so I'd like to move to Vancouver where warmer place.
Haha, do you shop at a Korean grocery store? Yes, white people are disappearing in Canada. 😂 I hope you can stay warm there! 🤗
hi Mark you very handiwork teacher thank you very much for your teaching and I wish live in Wasaga Beach did you can explain is this good city or town?
I want to work in a university, so I guess the only option for me is to live in the city. There is one more option I guess, to live in the suburbs. What do you think?
This channel is really helpful 💜
😃😃
Considering the weather, may be Vancouver. Considering the Tax, Calgary. Considering the size of city, Toronto. I have to ignore certain thing to choose. I chose Toronto. I am not sure I made a right decision. What do you think, Mark?
Great choice! 😃😃
Thank you Mark, love it an interesting lesson, if it comes to me I would like to live in Vancouver besides the beach, I love the beach, but my sister live is on Toronto and I will stay with her. Besides who knows ..
That's great! I hope your dream comes true! I love beaches too.
Thank you Mark for encouraging me thank you.
You're welcome! 🤗

Hi Mark, great video! What are your thoughts about New Brunswick?
I've never been there!
i interesting city is vancuber.
Regina
hi mad nice video, i gotta a question about PIE, it's a good place, what do you think about it?
Vancouver - being a child I loved TV series Danger Bay :)
Awesome!
I like Canada,it's looking great and peace country.Only one l hate most, the winter.I don't think so that l can still alive to pass winter and smelling blossom flowers in spring.
Haha, yes. The winter is terrible. It's better to stay in Taiwan!
No,lndonesian is better to lived in.We say like this, golds rain in another country, stones raining in our own country. And l still choose lndonesia.Sorry,l don't know to say it in English.🤗🤗🤗
Haha, that's a great saying. I think in English we say, "The grass is greener on the other side of the fence." I'm sure Indonesia is amazing!
No Sir,they're different meaning.
What l said is about proud of our country are.We don't thinking or jealous other which is richer or greater than our country.
And you said is about our thinks that other always look better than what we have.lndonesian saying, wife's neighbour is looking more beautiful than ours.😂😂😂😂😂
Haha, so what does golden rain mean?
That's great that Indonesian people love their country!
Interesting. Canada looks much like Syberia, really! Airfare is expensive, a narrow line is populated and the north is empty, farmlands with bales all this sounds so familiar. I wonder how do farmers do in Canada? Can they easily get cheap loanmoney to work, and how much the gas is? Altona looks almost like the town I live in... 4000 ppl. You right, it is good to live in a town like this. I would never move to a city anymore.
Yes, I'm sure it's similar to Siberia! 😃To be honest, I don't know how farmers do in Canada. I think many of them are rich!
l live in a small town called Yellowknife its up north of Canada, but i would like to live in Mississauga / Toronto
Small Town? Lol. Isn't Yellowknife the biggest community in northern Canada (after Whitehorse)?
Sir...thank you...I love you and also love to live in Canada...town or city..
In Yukon! 😳😱 Because I want to see Aurora Borealis! But I'm not sure if my frail, little body will take a stand against the brutal winter there.
So probably, choose Victoria British Columbia for it's scenery. I love landscapes.
Lol, Victoria would be great! 😃😃
Thanks for the lesson, Mark!
I would like to visit Montreal.
I would like to live in Vancuver due to warm weather, many jobs
Hello teacher, the weather is horrible in Viet Nam, what is the weather in your city? I heard on the News that it is getting hot even in Canada, is this true?
I can't believe the news either, but it's true. Many people have died in Eastern Canada. I'm from Western Canada.
Please annotate the figures so that we can learn the vocabulary
Hi Mark,
Such a great channel,
I am looking for you advise with the best place to find more jobs in the constructions field in canada
Thank you
Toronto to finish my postgraduate studies in Toronto University, I hope
Actually, I love Canada so much If I were came to Canada I was doing that from now
Awesome! 😃
Umm i saw your video lollll
I live in Vancouver, it's a very beautiful city surrounded by Rocky Mountains. It's like living at a Hill Station and weather is perfect here for Asians, that's why we have so many Asian people here.. haha
😃
I would like to live in sherbrooke Québec
Am targeting parts of Canada that offer lots of opportunities in construction jobs and not too expensive for a new immigrant. Please where might those be?
I would love to Live in Manitoba
It is a very controversial issue for me where to live in Canada. For me, I would like to live in a town, where is quite. But for finding a job and for my children at school I must live in a town. I don't know. The time will show me where to live :)
Sir, am pursuing my MBA and CMA professional degree from india...
And after gaining a 3years of experience in MNCs, thinking about to move in Canada for career growth...
So, should I go for it??
Hi. Thanks for the video. I'll be relocating with my family of wife and infant from India . I'm confused between Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg. I want to move to a place where my initial expenses are low such as rent, car etc and also entry level job availability. Could you please help me in this matter.
Thanks
I would like to live in Atlona
In interestingly enough short lesson you give us max information! Having a huge territory Canada has a low density of population. So the Canadian
government will accept immigrants from other countries, giving preference for educational people as USA.
So, weighing up the pros and cons I decided to stay in my country 😂😂
The first my aim was to use new words in this comments, that I've known, not expression my opinion.
Great job! 😃😃 Kazakhstan is a nice place. Do you have a good life there?
I'm enjoying here! When I travel more than 25 days I miss for my relatives even for street cats living near my house.☺😊
Haha, that's great. 😂🤗
I'm thinking about Alberta. Can you give me some pieces of advice about it? That is in term of job hunting as well as the weather. Thanks
The weather is terrible in Alberta for about 9 months. But 3 months are beautiful. 😃Alberta has lots of jobs. I think you can get a job here.
Mad English TV Thanks for the pieces of info. I started gathering all the requirements needed. I'm praying to pass the processes and be there very soon God's willing!
I’m thinking about Vancouver, but it seems so isolated from the world
That's right, Vancouver should be a perfect place to live and even Marc seems to share that opinion. As for me, seen from a European perspective, Canada is rather far away from the rest of the world, isn't it?
Yes, Canada is a bit isolated. Haha. But Vancouver is the one of the most connected places in Canada because there are so many direct flights to Asia and Europe.
It is true.
By the way, in my previous comment I spelt your first name "à la française" which obviously was wrong. I apologize for that mistake, Mark
No problem 😄
Hi Mark, I am from Perú and I would like to live in Nelson BC, How is it for there??, I'm sorry for My English
Thanks
I like to stay with you Calgary . I'm heard that we are spending 5 hours in flight travel to some places inside the USA its right
Thanks! 😃Yes, a flight from LA to NY is about 5 hours.
@@MadEnglishTV oh my God in my country to UAE only 3 hours 30 minute only
To live in Galgary, there more jobs o
Moving close to Toronto ASAP. :)

I've never been to Kitchener or Ontario! I really have no idea what it's like there.
Hi thanks for your advices i would like to know that the Vancouver has a diffrent rules for settling in ?? Thanks..
You're welcome! 😃What do you mean for settling in? Every province is a little bit different.
Hi i mean restrictions for settlement to leave in Vancouver
There are no restrictions. You just move there and then apply for everything you need like a driver's license, healthcare, etc.
Thank you very much
You don't have high speed train cos you need new leaderships
Vancouver, because it is not so clod.
That's great! 😃
I live in Ontario
But town for you is the same as village? Generally town and city are the same. Am I right?
In North America, we don't have villages. If a town has more than 10,000 people, it's considered a city.
There were ~550 villages in Canada. A village is a clustered human settlement or community, larger than a hamlet but smaller than a town, with a population ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand. A town is smaller than a city.
Mad English TV With all respect, we do have villages, as well as hamlets, at least here in Alberta.
I from Nigeria i have get admission in the university of Regina university ,and I wish to live in Vancouver how could possibly for me please.
Maybe after your studies in Regina, you can move to Vancouver! It would be a 25 hour drive.
I like live twon or village☺
In Canada, we don't have villages. I agree with you! Towns are the best. :)
If I immigrate to Canada I want live in a place with industrial Jobs, because my husband os a mechanical engineer. Where are we find this Jobs in Canada?
I think Calgary would be a good place! 😃😃
@@MadEnglishTV lol, so we Will be neighbors....
I want to live in Town.
Are there farmers market in winnepeg????
I think so!
Hi, I’m moving to Canada with my family and we were looking at Edmonton. What is the city like and is it a good place to raise our children and settle. Is the property affordable and good, are jobs easier to find ? Our field is aviation.
Hi! 😃😃To be honest, I don't know much about Edmonton. The economy in Alberta is not great right now, but houses are more affordable because of that.
Vancover or toronto for international students?
Try Victoria BC you got the best of the best Toronto I heard there ingnorant and vancouver is Better for that reason
Hi mark, i like to live in Canada, in a town, that has a mild weather and not expensive. I dont know about sherbroke,is it a city or a town? How is it for living?and is it English or french?
😃😃To be honest, I've never been to Sherbrooke!
Mad English TV okay thank you 😊
I'd like to live in country cities (small towns) but I would not like to live in a place with a low minimum salary. Would you suggest me small towns (cold but not extremely cold) that the wage would is reasonable and not too low? Thank you/again Mark!
That's great! 😃Well, minimum wage is a provincial matter. Alberta is increasing the minimum wage to $15 this year. That will be the highest in Canada.
Mad English TV That's cool Mark. I might be moving there soon then! I'm currently living in Ontario because the min wage is 14$, but there're too many people here alreasy. If you suggest me some towns in Alberta I'll really appreciate!!
Okay! 😃Well, Three Hills is a nice town. It has lots of friendly people.
I want to live in Edmonton. How will it be?
I'm not sure! I've never lived there.
Manitoba, is where they grow up manitoba flour?
What is Manitoba flour? Manitoba is famous for sunflowers.
Mad English TV manitoba flour is a flour for makes cakes (but I don’t use it, i use only italian flour 🤫)
Makes or make?
Okay, I've never heard of Manitoba flour.
* for making cakes.
