LYRICS
The sun is rising up half the way
I never thought I’d see the day
The moon is crumbling but that’s OK
I never thought I’d see the day
The sea is bubbling beyond the shore
I can’t quite tell what I’m hoping for
Dive out of nothing and into more
But I can’t quite tell what I’m hoping for
Somehow maybe now I'll find the words to say
Never thought I'd see the day
The sleeping slip has begun to fray
I never thought I'd see the day
The pious hunter stops stalking prey
I never thought I'd see the day
Spent too much time writing all the lore
I can’t quite tell what I’m hoping for
So I’ll live my life being so unsure
Cause I can’t quite tell what I’m hoping for
Somehow maybe now I'll find the words to say
Never thought I'd see the day
[CHORDS FOR SONG AVAILABLE WITH PURCHASE ON BANDCAMP]
this brings the same joy and sadness of reuniting with an old friend. seeing the old video with the remastered track makes me melt
arguably, “Dances Moving!” was Brian’s Gesamtkuntswerk.
"Spent too much time writing all the lore"
THIS MAN JUST FORESHADOWED HIS POLYGON CAREER
Sometimes it's really nice doing what he does in the video. Find a private space all your own, turn on your favorite song, and move. Let your body decide. Every dance you've learned up to this point is obsolete, there's no form to this. You can keep them in the back of your mind as you move, but let your body decide what feels best. Experiment by using the whole space, you'll find what you need to do as you relax. It can be a wonderful experience, and I encourage you to try it.
The only thing that could make this any better is the sounds of his chucks on the floor
i tried my best but the original see the day kept bleeding through and the tempos of both songs are Slightly different so i couldnt 😔
@@aperture102 oh no worries! I figured it would be difficult and that you probably tried. It's still absolutely lovely ^u^
I feel like I shouldn't be allowed to see this, like this personal moment in someone's life
idk how to explain it but this song makes me extremely sad and happy at the same time, especially this version
Incredible editing with the noises in the first bits, made me Crrrrryyyy
don’t mind me just here making myself sad on purpose
I love this, see the day always makes me sad in a good way. That accomplished kind of sad when you look back on how far you've come. That sort of melancholy feeling where you long for what you used to have but are glad you moved on. I don't know if I'm explaining this well but I love this song lmao
i am HERE!!! for this!!!!!
glad someone put the studio version over this footage (and credited Jonah Scott and the rest of the altogether instead of just bdg)
thank you sm
THIS GETS ME EVERY GODDAMN TIME. HELL
right so i watched dances moving because a friend recommended it to me and i will never be the same again i kid you not i properly cried at this series
but i did gain a new song for my playlist... so i'm calling this a win
The percussion of his feet hitting the floor is missed, it's not the same for me. :(
THANK YOU
I can’t say I expected those moves but they are a pleasant surprise
I shared this song with a friend, we aren't friends anymore but everytime I listen to this it utterly destroys me.
I miss them.
[cries] this is so good,,,,
Touches my soul.
Hell yeah
