Listened to Bill Burr's podcast and Tal was a guest. She was insightful, funny, and charming. Naturally, I came here after learning her name and I'm not disappointed! Great jam!
The first time I heard this track, as soon as I heard that first down-tuned chord on the acoustic, I knew this was going to be a filthy sound. It did not disappoint, and it still doesn't. Such an interesting progression throughout the song. Your music and your voice has such an awesome 90's vibe to it., but it's very unique.
I've been giving this young lady's music more attention lately while staying home to avoid COVID-19 and this gal has really blossomed into a terrific musician. I never knew her to be a singer but strictly a bass player. WRONG! I'm very impressed with this gal's "chops". She's really good !
This gal was born a terrific musician; sort of a late-blooming prodigy. Picked up the guitar at 14; by her late teens was playing bass with jazz heavyweights.
I think I figured out why I love all of these Tal Wilkenfeld songs so much. The 90's was my decade of music discovery as a young lad and this music reminds me so much of that era. Tal would have fit in perfectly with all of the other amazing artists of that decade. I'm just so happy that, while a little nostalgic for me personally, this type of music is still being created today. Thanks for the music, Tal, and as long as you keep creating awesome music, I'll keep listening!

I was there. No one around me had heard of her. Her show had a cool vibe. I didn't know she sang until then. I thought there would be more technical playing but it was cool that she seemed to focus on making songs instead of the tunes being a setup for solos.
