Ms. Sommers, I'm 78, and still camping and hiking, that's what keeps me young ! Yo, you go girl! When my mother was 82, she told me , I'm 82 physically, but, I'm 18 in my mind! Now, I'm living that way.
Same here! If you stop doing it you loose it. Activity keeps the fragility away!
I think that it was all three of them that made the show special. She keeps saying that it was just her and John Ritter, but it wasn't. It was the combination of the three. Janet was also wonderful in her own way. That's just how I see it.
I 100% agree with you. Janet was awesome too. It was the three of them that made the show funny and special.
I couldn’t stand Joyce. She overacted and was so jealous of beautiful, successful Suzanne. Joyce was not an attractive woman.
I am so sad.... She was a vibrant beautiful nice woman... I am in total shock she has passed... May she rest in peace... 🙏🙏.. 😢😢.. 🕊️🕊️.. 🌹🌹🌹🌹....
Suzanne, you are still beautiful at your age!! I always loved you! All three of you should have been paid the same amount! No matter if you are male or female, you all make the show great!!
She is 74 years young and still fabulous
She was fabulous all the time, at every age, till the moment she was gone. ❤️❤️❤️
After all these years she's still beautiful & vibrant looking 💯❤👏🏽
What a woman! What a life! She was dropping gems in this interview. Fly high, beautiful and powerful soul
One of my favorite character in threes company
Her voice and the way she speaks is very powerful and wise❤️
Underrated performer. I'm glad she is starting to get more appreciation now while she's alive, something I feel Ritter didn't get.
not underrated at all
John Ritter wasn't underrated either.
@@jlbaker2000 They both were underrated.
Suzanne Somers is one of my heroes we use to crack up laughing all the time watching threes company in the 1980's miss those days 😁
Me too 😁
Rip. Suzanne Summers. You were amazing. And brilliant, and sweet, and kind, and humble. I love her cancer in this interview. I love that she did not shy away from her sexuality. Of being a woman, when you’re in the mood, you’re in the mood, I can’t help but respect that. You know, they had a undeniable attraction for one another., And who could deny that, they had love, they blended their families together. They created a safe, Haven, for their families. To be happy, and you can tell that she was very much in love with her husband, as her husband was in love with her. And goddamn, she looks so good to be the age that she Was when doing this interview. Man I can only hope and wish I still look that way when I get in my 70s. Peace and love to Alan Hamill, her husband, I know this is got to be a more trying time for you, and my heart goes out to Suzanne Summers, sons, and the whole entire family. Rest in peace beautiful angel. And travel well with the angels. You’re safe now, in the Lord of the heavens, and in God’s arms. ❤❤ 18:54
I don't care for celebrities usually but was very saddened to hear of Suzanne's passing. She fought courageously for her health and went to great lengths to help others step outside the system to get the help they needed too. She was a brave and kind lady who will be missed💔
She looks beautiful 🤩
Love her so much ! I grew up with "Step by step". This series instilled so many values in me. I will be forever grateful to them
No one else looks like her. Her beauty was unique, and truly stunning!
I love her on step by step !
man I miss the 90s sitcoms, family matters, who's the boss, just Classic entertainment
One of my favourite actresses! Just a beautiful human being!
She wrote beautiful poetry, a couple of autobiographies, was a phenominal business woman, had a great marriage, her kids adored her. She had a great life!
I love that she said “when one door closes crawl through the window.” I have often heard the phrase “ when one door closes, another one opens”,but that is often not the case. She phrased it perfectly.
She looks fantastic after all these years. 👍🏼 May she enjoy many more years of life.
This lady is quite an inspiration!!
Ha ha ha I remember when my mom watched three's company and we laughed so much 😁 I love Suzanne Somers 💞
I watch her on RUclips and IG and she truly is young in every way. Suzanne Somers has a beautiful family and she tells wonderful stories.
❤ Love her
i watch her too on instagram, The way she and her husband interact are so sweet, hot and sexy. Theyre amazin!
I watch all the re runs of Threes Company whenever they’re on. I could watch them over and over again. I never get tired of them. I watched them all in the 70s and 80s and they are still good. 💜❤️🥰😷
Kevin Frazier was such an elegant interviewer. He knew the right questions and is such a gentleman!
We love you Suzanne!
I idolize Suzanne Somers..She's the real deal actress/ dancer/ singer...Our favorite triple threat..Love her on her RUclips channel with Alan and friends.. I agree 3's Company would have been on air for years ...
John and Suzanne were the show period TTTTTTTT...💕
Could you please link that channel? I can’t find it. Thankyou
Don't forget she's the thigh master queen!!

Ronnie .... Hello

She keeps saying the 2 of us but the show was called Three’s Company. She seems to dismiss Joyce DeWitt.
Great role model. And now we have the Kardashians! That do nothing but show off their wealth and make more $ from it! This lady has helped so many women with her books and interviews and speaking out for us I am so grateful for her
EXACTLY! Chrissy was Real!🙏❤️🧘♀️😂😂😂
What a strong lady. I just can't believe she's gone rip Sweet Angel 😇 🙏 ✝️ ❤😢
Still Love Crissy Snow. Think I've memorized the script..Lol...still watching Three's Company almost every day. Suzanne..I think you are the most Positive person of any of the Stars.
I LOVED this! what an interesting interview. She is more fabulous than I already thought. I was addicted to Step by Step and still watch re-runs today. So sad that she got fired but how brave of her to be a trailblazer, it turned out great anyway.....It was always going to with her talent.
She does a weekly broadcast from home. You can watch it on RUclips and Facebook.. She has her own RUclips channel, and product line.
@@brkitdwn I watched several clips of her reunion with Joyce DeWitt on her RUclips show and learned so much! I appreciate all 3 of them. I never enjoyed the show much after she left. She was out of her league as far as acting and was lucky to be hired in the beginning. And she now admits she had a hand in much of the negativity because of her immaturity and lack of self worth.
love Suzanne then and now amazing soul and beauty!
That was a great interview. RIP Suzanne.
She is iconic asf live Susan !!! Such a beauty!
Suzanne
I love her character and her as a person
She keeps saying that they only spoke again right before he died, but both she and John Ritter said in a book about the show that they reconciled long before that. She's also a little dismissive of Joyce DeWitt, which I don't like. Joyce DeWitt is a wonderful actress, and brought so much to the show.
Watch her RUclips reunion with Joyce. She admits to making mistakes and takes more ownership.
@@lisgreen5675 I have seen that. It did seem more like she was owning her role in all of that, though I don't think she was wrong to ask for more money considering how huge she had become as a celebrity. But to hear her speak in this clip, she acts as if it was the Jack and Chrissy show, and Janet was there solely to set up their antics. Joyce DeWitt has frequently said she was happy to focus on perfecting her role in the show and wasn't eager to be a celebrity.
@@jonthomas8569 I agree with you. Love Joyce.
When I was in 5th grade back in the day. The teacher actually okayed me putting up the classic Suzanne in blue bathing suit on the classroom wall!😍
WOW! What a woman ! We love you and will always have you in our hearts. ❤️❤️❤️ God bless you and miss you. Rest in peace out Angel.
She looks so adorable in the yellow hat and jacket. Loved her. Learned so much from her about health and alternative medicine.
Her books were good
The success of the show Friends was on the premise that Courtney Cox was the star 🌟 & they were going to pay her more but she said no, let us all be paid the same; eliminated adamosity, problem solved & no frueds & no one quit! I felt like Suzanne & John Ritter made the show..it simply wasn't the same after she left...& she had every right to ask for more money, she didn't do it right out of the gate but 6 yrs after the show was on air...maybe if she had approch it like Courtney & included Joyce it might have gone better for her.
I totally agree!
Yes hindsight valuable- but Alan did eventually turn this loss into a huge forward by lucrative marketing of her ‘brand’: Suzanne (‘Chrissy’) Somers !!! ❤
“When one door closes, crawl thru a window.” Wow, that’s deep. I used to love that show.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
PSA: There is a 24-hour Three's Company channel on Pluto TV.
omg
Yesss I just discovered it a few days ago now I play it non stop!!!!
lol I know right? I was watching it on Pluto. That is so cool. I have to say Krissy snow, I love when she does that little thing when she does a little snorting, like I don’t know how she does it, but it is so funny when she snores or something or when she’s about to laugh or something, that shit cracks me up when she does that. yes Suzanne Summers, definitely crafted that role. I can’t believe she’s gone!!! Wow!!! And she passed away one day, shy of her 77th birthday, may she rest in peace. 18:54
I think my favorite episode. With Krissy, Snow. Was the episode when she ate that chocolate pie, that was the pie, that Jack was supposed to present in the bake off. And she ate the pie point!! That was so funny. 18:54
She does not look 74 at all..... she look good
Even with Suzanne's limited acting experience when she got the role of Chrissy, she had great extinct on who her character was, and how she wanted to play her. I never saw Chrissy as dumb,..rather more innocent and naive to the world.
Three’s Company didn’t jump the shark when they got rid of Chrissy…..
All of television did!
RIP Suzanne Somers 😿
She was not a dumb blond!
She was beautiful and making us happy and laugh!🎉
MAGICAL!❤🎉
That you, angel!🙏❤
Good interviewer and love Suzanne Sommers- what an interesting, lovely lady!
🧐🤫She aged really well. Natural look.🤫👏🏿
Great interview Gorgeous Suzanne Somers🌟
You're so real !honesty is the greatest way to live !this is why you're so loved! I can relate to the voice you talk about!you and Allen are great together! Love your books!all your organics products!God blessed every one you touched with your life!
Suzanne's success was as she stated, never let fame go to her head. She never took any of that serious except to make money to build a business and a loving family. Others in that place should take a look at her business model. Make the money, don't act like you're better than anybody else and use the money to build a successful brand and take excellent care of your family. Smart lady
Then 2 years later she passes. I’m grateful for her healthy contributions. ❤❤❤
That's the perfect color for Suzanne. Yellow ! Sunny and bright just like her. She never let fame go to her head. Always nice and kind and always the same.
I don’t agree with her analogy that Joyce Dewitt was Ethel. People were not dying to see her with John Ritter again. They were dying to see all three of them together again. I thought she really shunned Joyce in this interview. The show was called Three’s Company for a reason. She also failed to mention that she stopped showing up for work and they had to rewrite scripts at the last minute. That’s why everyone got angry at her. And that’s why she was fired. The producers did not brainwash the rest of the cast. They all suffered because of her antics.
Don’t stay at a job and worry about what happens to the others and I’m all for it. Why would she if they weren’t going to pay her what she wanted?
I do think she forgets that it took three to make that show , Joyce was important in that show too
Suzanne Somers was very competitive with Joyce DeWitt.
Wonderful interview
I just see beautiful and glow when i watch Suzanne,,,watching clips of her in interviews,,,and this clip i just watched is so amazing,,,keep up the beautiful work Suzanne❤
R.I.P Suzanne Somers 😢
Good interviewer in Kevin Frazier.
My favorite show of all time!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
there were two woman that held the gamete in the 70-80's Farrah and Suzanne they were beautiful but they were strong independent woman glad they were our roll models...not to mention the great hair we all wanted!! Thanks
RIP Suzanne 😢❤
Rest easy, Dear Suzanne
When she talks out of character as herself, she is even a more amazing woman. Thank you Ms. Sommers!
Yaaaasss!!!!
love her giving us Carmen Sandiego realness...
Love her
❤❤❤
STEP BY STEP was a great show that has been kinda swept under the rug. It was a wonderful show that I will put right up there with FRIENDS and other classic 90"s shows
Good! She agrees with herself!!
I love her❤️
Great interview!!
I love her personality. And her blue eyes are mesmerizing
Loving this series!!!
RIP Suzanne Somers ❤
74 I want to be like her she eat really healthy
In every interview she says she was on for 6 years. She was on the show 4 years and a few episodes on year 5.
he started mixing up She's The Sheriff with her character on step by step! at 13:40
"I'm chronologically old." Profound intelligence!
R.I.P. 😪
Awww I love her!
Chrissy was very sweet and had an innocence about her
RIP 10/15/23 😔
I looovveeeddd her on Step by step. Such a great show
YES! Who knew we would be learning new things from Crissy Snow? Nice!
Love your videos 💓💓😍
R.I.P Suzanne Somers
I wish someone would tell her that her contract negotiation drama didnt happen in year 6 it happened at the beginning of year 5. She only appeared in 2 full episodes of Season 5.
I grew up with step by step as I am the exact same age as the girl who played Al.
I love Suzanne Somers but I wonder if it would have been different if Joyce DeWitt would have joined her in this salary fight. Since according to SS it was a female wanting what a male is getting, if the two actresses would have joined who knows.
From what I've read, it was her husband Alan who went to the studio to try and negotiate a raise. She said it was Alan who came home afterwards to tell her she'd been fired. Maybe if she'd wanted an equal playing ground, she shouldn't have sent her husband to do her bidding wars...it was kind of hypocritical.
She allegedly also wanted partial ownership of the show and suggested a Chrissy Snow movie and animated series.
She handled it wrong. I don’t blame Joyce for not getting involved. I’m not going to lose my job behind some drama.
@@mdooms76 I agree. I just wonder what would have happened if the 3 of them would have gone to the network asking for the same salary the way the cast of Friends did.
@@christianraularroyo2497 3's C is more like Seinfeld (and less like Living Single and Friends) !
Wow! You did an awesome job! 👏congratulations on your success & really good work on how you ate your food!
Gloria Swanson was a health advocate also but she looked better at 74 than Summers does here at the same age particularly in the face. Imagine that. Not sure though if Sommers has had any surgery at all.
When 0ne door closes,
go threw the window 👈🤣
She'll be missed
Thank you, Susanne, for all the laughs throughout the years.
R.I.P. 🎭🕯🥀
Chrissy Snow.
good interview
LOVED Chrissy snow!! Lousy situation that happened to you. Anna Farris definitely emulated you in Mom!
The show was good with and without Chrissy.. Suzanne stated if she stayed on they could have done 12 seasons. I disagree they need fresh characters for new storylines and the addition of Cindy and Terri gave the show that. Cheers probably wouldn’t have lasted 11 seasons if Shelly Long wouldn’t have left. The addition of the character Rebecca on Cheers opened up many more storylines to come.I also want to add that Joyce Dewitt as Janet was just as much of a star as Suzanne was on the show.I never thought of her as “ Ethel”
Yep, I feel the same way. If that was the case the show would've fallen apart after she left. It didn't. I always thought Jack and Janet had the best chemistry.
I of seen far too many people write that.
doso don In school I was taught to say by accident and not on accident. Now either is accepted.
Totally disagree...the show for me was never the same after Chrissy...I didn't like any of the subs ..If I love Lucy would have changed out Ethel & Fred it would have changed the whole dynamics of the show..& it wouldn't have worked....if its not broke don't fix it! After 6 yrs she asked for a raise how that ended in her getting fired was insane...hard to believe it wasnt even open for negotiations...I think it would have fair better if she included Joyce DeWitt.
@doso don In a home?! So is that where we put the more wholesome types these days.
You are a beautiful woman and young forever ❤️
She is so SMART!!!
This great rock group called Kansas did a song that goes: "Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky, nothing lasts forever and all your money not another minute buy". It is always sad when time runs out on someone's life. It is a useless wish to want to live forever, but at 72, I wish to God to go on for another decade, and even that thought seems ridiculous, and I go, a decade? But that is only ten years.
Suzanne Somers was the best on three's company
Suzanne asked for too much money.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hcShe asked to be paid the same amount as her male costar. That is not “too much money.” It is equitable money.
@@joniheisenberg Suzanne also wanted 10 percent of the show's profits.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc Most likely asking for an additional caveat above a matching salary was a negotiating gambit. She had to demonstrate that she was not going to back down. As she pointed out they had to “put her in her place.” She ended up making more money on her own terms. It would be interesting to know if the executives who denied her lasted in the industry.
@@joniheisenberg Suzanne Somers also missed a couple of the show's tapings on purpose.
Loved her!
