This sort of stuff is great, it's not just a "lets play"... you get to see how you can just sit back and relax while playing a video game, and there isn't one better than Wii Sports Resort. i remember i had one week where i was working for my grandpa and each day i'd do some big thing that'd take all day, but once i was finished around 6 or so, i'd go to my cousins house and we would try to get all the info points on this game while also having a relaxing time. we did end up doing it in that week i had, and i would love to see more of this wii sports resort island fly over thing Josh. Plus an asmr of it would be even better. oh well, your channel, your decision.

23:56 I remember that at E3 2009 they held a roundtable about Wii Sports Resort, during which Miyamoto joked about how he wanted Nintendo to buy a tropical island in order to recreate the one in the game lol He also mentioned that investors most likely wouldn't have been favorable to such an idea.

I actually managed to touch the whale once. It took many many tries, but i'm pretty sure i had to glide into it dive-bomb style. As that allows you to go much faster. Unfortunately nothing crazy happens. The whale isn't even physical, you just go through it. :(

It always bothered me there wasn't a tennis mode. They clearly have a court. lmao Also always loved the Wuhu Island tracks in Mario Kart 7. I would love it if they brought them back as DLC in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Also so glad they made it a stage in Smash Bros. (and even expanded on the 'lore' of the location by adding the original Pilotwings island nearby.) Lastly, idk if this final thing is viewable in the free-fly mode, but i know in the dog Frisbee game, there is actually a Blueberry Hermit Crab on the beach outside of the player's view. Joshy, You should play Go Vacation on Nintendo Switch. It's undeniably better than Wii Sports Resorts. It has all the Summer Sports you can think of, even surfing, they even have winter sports, something Wii Sports hasn't done yet.
Strongly disagree, Wii Sports Resort is much better than Go vacation. Go Vacation isn't a Switch game either, it was a Wii game. Played it back when it launched on Wii many years ago and wasn't too impressed.

TheBitBlock I'm so glad I'm not only one who feels that way about Wii Days being left in the dust. That Wuhu Island Battle Stage in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe made me all the more desperate for a Switch Sports. Them bringing that back in HD gave me some hope.
