"Dear Bro.." Letters From Prison & A College Degree

Lami Glenn, formerly incarcerated for 10 years, was a Junior at Cal State LA when I started following him for CBS2/KCAL's Mental Health Monday series. After he graduated -at the top of his class- he started mentoring fellow ex-inmates at Homeboy Industries. I asked if one of his mentees would talk to me. It turned out to be his brother. Their story aired Oct 2, 2023 on KCAL News, CBS Los Angeles.
