Watching him actively try to dissuade the player from going “KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM” when he knows full well that’s exactly what he would be doing in black mask form is hilarious
I’m more amazed by his sheer commitment to the bit. This is the second time he’s out of his depth against a literal god beyond his comprehension that he could probably body by just letting the black mask show and cutting loose with Loki, yet he’s all in on holding back using only Robin Hood. Like what the hell will it take for him to just let the real mask slip prematurely?

SPOILERS FOR PERSONA 5 ROYAL AND TACTICA DLC Guernica is kind of a mix of Sumire and Akechi, huh? Like Akechi - Guernica and her sister were abandoned as children and suffered in society's dark corners, and were made to languish in the trash. Guernica is bitter against society and lashes out against it, but due to manipulation is corrupted by her rage. Guernica is also being manipulated by a malevolent, abusive and concieted "parent" figure that compels them to kill and use their unique powers over the hearts of others for their own ends, while being a (somewhat willing) pawn of a greater conspiracy. Also like Akechi, although she is a villainous (and also tragic) figure with psychopathic tendencies, Guernica actually has a deep-seated love of heroes of justice, but has lost sight of that due to the manipulation and corruption inflicted onto her. Like Sumire - Guernica and Luca shared a love for a vocation and did everything together, and Guernica lost her elder sister like Sumire did. She also is having her cognition distorted by someone claiming to be acting in her best interest and granting her wishes, but is actually seeking to control the masses in a way in a manner that threatens the existence of free will. This figure creates in Guernica a fuege state, or entirely new personality that overwrites the original, resulting in a distorted sense of reality and memory loss. She is also compelled to attack people trying to help her like Sumire will be. Both Sumire and Guernica deal with alienation from their sisters (with Kasumi and Luca both trying and failing to reach out to their sisters), and are poorly coping with the loss of them. Both Kasumi and Luca are memories of Sumira and Guernica's deceased sister figures. Like Sumire, Guernica is acting under a false name, though the circumstances of that are entirely different. Luca being the dead elder sister can be seen as lampshading to how Kasumi was actually who died...
