This is something he called out in the first duel they had, while he made it more difficult for Yudias to even understand how he made a parallel reality in the first place. At this point Yudias has already shown few hints of personal wants that aren’t based on others’. Could be a noble life, but the push is in that he has been living passively that his will has been in question. Hopefully he can find it through the myraid of difficulties ahead of them.
Given that Rituals have been shown so late in Go Rush, not only am I more sure that Yugioh 9 will be a Rush Series, but 9 will take place in the universe that Kuaidul took Rituals from, and Rituals will be the top summoning mechanic in it. I’m also certain that Yudias will use the Ritual that Kuaidul used in 135 and properly debut it to defeat Yuhi-Otes. Knowing Kuaidul, he might have managed to slip it into Yudias’ deck before they separated - those eyes are definitely Transamu Rainac eyes.
Honestly, now with the most recent Episode revealed, I'm sure that Ritual Summon in GO RUSH is a Teaser for a Third Rush's Anime focused on Ritual Monsters.
The universe Kuaidul connected to seems a little bit too strange to have a whole show set there. I don’t think you’d get a show where 80% of every character is covered in cordyceps or where civilisation exists while being digested in a monster’s stomach.
@@rueblie2627 Kuaidul only showed some examples of Parallel Worlds to Yudias. Also, Kuaidul himself mentioned that he brought Ritual Summon from a Parallel World (which was not shown on screen) I think it's more about the fact that if there was a Third Rush's Anime, it would take place in that Parallel World where Ritual Monsters/Summon exist in Rush Duels. Honestly, it's not that hard to create the Show Set and we can use some loose Plot Threads from GO RUSH: example, SEVENS! Otes is in a Parallel World where he recreated Rush Duels and created Ritual Summon. Kuaidul simply saw that Parallel World that he took the Ritual Summon from that World.
Im mostly concerned about whether Yuhi is the real Otes or not. Like Dylan said in this show if you don't mention something until the last moment you can be sure it's exactly that but here we have the doubts of Yuhi and even Yuna mentions him as a defective Otes. If it's not Yuhi then Otes might be Yuna (Im dead sure she too is trying to be Otes). She works for Goha she can create cards (implying that she might have created Monster Reborn like the original Otes confessed) she traveled through time, she made the sevens road deck of Yuhi but the problem is she wasn't inspired by the books to create the Sevens card, she just copied them through the deck of Yuga since she played it. But you know what? It could also be Asaka. Im saying this because she too can create cards (I don't really know who made Monster reborn, it can't be Kuaidul because he was reasearching the card, he didn't created it) and I doubt she's really convinced that she doesn't want to be Otes. Sure she says it in the episode that it's wrong but even then I have my doubt. She hide the fact that she attempted to become Otes so Im not trusting her.
Something I've observed that when Kuaidul ritual summoned his monsters on the field got "destroyed". Go Rush anime is really consistent with it's animations and every action has it's own animation. So that means it's either show runners wanted to save the real animation for the true reveal of rituals or you have to "destroy" your monsters to ritual summon in rush like you really sacrificing your monsters with a ritual. I hope it's the latter it would be really cool theme wise.
@@enigma2786 Reminds me of Revolver's Heavy Interlock, where it is specific in the card text the monsters must be 'destroyed' instead of 'tributed'. Good observation.
This video is very funny for me, because i watched a video like a month ago talking about the multiverse and it really is amazing that the community has really forgotten various details from the franchise that clued us to this since long ago: The first one and the funniest one, DSOD, not only are the title and main power of the Plana and the cube about dimensions, but also the movie's intro is literally us watching the multiverse Then there is Ylliaster, in both BBT and the WRGP arc we see that (at least in the animeverse) there are no branching timelines, when someone time travels and changes history the timeline is completely erased and rewritten, we see it when Paradox kills Pegasus and when that Momentum Express guy gets erased, so there cannot be a timeline where Paradox wins because that would erase the 5D's timeline where we see how the signers beat Z-one Relating to the previous point, there seems to be Tuner monsters in Zexal (apparently one appears in the first chapter if i remember correctly) we just never see anyone synchro summon, also that in III's DL event we learn that Kaiba Corp doesn't exist in the world of Zexal (making the statues just a reference for us, their legendary status would be just a nod for us like in Sevens), same with Arc-V and Vrains being their own worlds unrelated to the previous shows And finally the Rushverse being it's own thing but part of the massive Yugioh multiverse
We’ve had a multiverse since GX and it was a major part of Arc-V. I think it’s reaching a bit to imply that this means anything more than what those series had. He only spoke as though he had actually made contact with one universe, Somewhere Similar to Here, which was a world full of pain and suffering so probably not where any other show has happened.
@@Nikolai2i Which are not multiverse. Multiverse is about diffrent divergent possibilities, while all of these are tied to the same possibility "in the same world". Just like how in ArcV, there are not 4 possibilities that can lead to any of the 4 dimensions but instead one possibility that leads to all 4 at the same time. That would also be why they are depicted as easier to travel between despite also being physically seperate spaces. These "inner barriers" are easier to breach than the "outer barrier" one would have to pass to go to another world entirely.
all it showed us was that the og anime timeline getting split into 4 dimensions. So it is still just one verse. There is also the manga timeline thats separate and depending on if you believe in the theory, it is also where vrains take place. Duel links gives an interesting hint towards these two timelines (manga and anime) co existing with the dialogue between pegasus and paradox. And now go rush confirms that there are multiverses beyond just what the anime or manga showed us.
@@zaiyu7070 Yes, and by virtue of those dimensions existing means that there was in fact a multiverse created from a single universe. The scattered portions of a multiverse are usually called dimensions, realities, fragments, and, in the context of referring to a single one, a "universe". They're mostly all interchangeable, difference being preference. It will 100% be a situation of not seeing the forest from the trees in that case, tho
@@ashemabahumat4173 i mean, while yes, arc v showed the splitting of one timeline into 4 different ones, it never confirmed (nor denied) there being universes outside of the 4 timelines that got split off.
Don't forget that they changed the ED animation to something that does seem to foreshadow Go Rush's ending. With the introduction of a new mechanic this deep into Go Rush it would at least imply that there is a planned new season of Rush Duel coming up and that the anime will still be headed by the Bridge team, using their established continuity (if they weren't going to retain at least the same ongoing narrative of Sevens/Go Rush but wanted a third Rush anime to be Ritual focused it would make more sense for Rituals to not be in Go Rush but to be introduced with the new series as has been historically standard for adding a new summoning mechanic).
Seeing how much Kuaidul emphasizes that he got Ritual Summon from a Parallel Universe, it makes me think that Ritual Summon in GO RUSH is a Teaser: the third Rush's Anime would focus on that Universe where Ritual Summon exists. In fact, this raises a question: Who created Rush Duels or made Ritual Summon work in Rush Duels in that Parallel Universe? I wouldn't be surprised if they reveal that SEVENS! Otes is responsible for that: especially the part about creating Rush Duels in a different Universe (just like Yuga did in GO RUSH)
I wonder if Yu-Gi-Oh 9 is going to focus on the magic aspect of ritual summoning, rather than the Sci-Fi elements that we've seen multiple times from 5 d's, zexal, Arc-V, Vrains and even sevens. Ritual summoning as a concept was heavily undermined in duel monsters but it makes sense why it would be utilized due to it focusing on the occult and Egyptian mythology. So a parallel world or at least another universe where Rush duels exist becoming a part of the master duel meta but some weird Shadow realm magic is causing problems wouldn't be that bad of an idea.
Hopefully we could get a look at a universe where Yugi’s adventures happened with Synchro, Xyz and Link available. That would be a sight to see. Especially in Duelist Kingdom. 🤣
Doubt it would happen but with how Goha Yuna and the Darkmen left, it would be cool if they don’t come back in Go Rush but instead become the “That Guy” of YuGiOh 9. Trapped elsewhere, introducing Rush Duel’s to that era(or dimension?) and trying to get home (or to Yuga in Yuna’s case)
And to some credence to the confirmation of the existence, there is one thing that possibly ties Go Rush to Gallops Yugioh. How were Ritual Monsters Summoned in Go Rush? Via Ritual Spell, but the Ritual Monster comes from the Extra Deck. And courtesy to TGSAnime, where else in Yugioh were Ritual Monsters Summoned from the Extra Deck? Duel Monsters, specifically in Duelist Kingdom and Battle City! Could Kuaidul have gotten this special mechanic when he visited the world of Duel Monsters during the Duelist Kingdom and Battle City arcs?
If we're gonna get deeper on the multiverse aspect, what if the Duel Links universe, the Duel Monsters Spirit World, and Darkness's world are all bridges for the multiverse? Darkness and the Spirit World are natural bridges, and Duel Links is an artificial bridge created with the advent and advancement of virtual reality from VRAINS? Fun to think about
Kuaidul was so ballsy to reveal all this. (Also that episode kinda felt like End of Eva lmao) ...I'm just hoping the writers don't mess this up and have talks to the Duel Links' scenario writing team to fully connect it altogether.
Honestly Kuaidul is in my opinion the best character in Yugioh after 135. I have never seen a character where EVERY scene they are in, EVERY line of dialogue even just their appearance and presence, is just a pleasure to watch. He makes the story of Go Rush better just by being involved. What a Voice actor as well. What a deck too. I am just in awe of the character!
@@brunosanto3488I always liked Kusanagi too lol. Its funny because I wished he was more important in Vrains, and well turns out his VA has played such an important character now!
@@Arcknight8049I predict that he will shine in the final arc. Also I think he will wake up in 138 or 139 and give vital info, either on time travel or on the multiverse.
@@Arcknight8049 Technically, he has just enough Screen Time in my opinion. He appeared halfway through Arc 6, explained his plan, managed to develop his plan in Arc 7, where he was defeated by Yudias, explained why he shouldn't trust Ohdos, and died. After that, he was revived via Dark Power in Dark Matter Zone to help Yudias in Arc 9 and now lives inside it, where he's doing his thing and trying to stop Yudias from making the wrong decisions. It has just the right amount of screen time that prevents the Character from becoming boring or obsolete if he appeared more often.
It was confirmed a long time ago that Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush takes place in an alternative universe and timeline. The entire Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise takes place over 6 different universes, about 8 different timelines, and 4 axis'. I covered this on the UTS Report.
I had this idea somewhere. Assuming we get an idea based on chronicles, I like the overarching story of the show to be about this duelist who has transcended mortality and became a godlike figure and is just going around dimensions and universes observing stories based on the cards and archetypes. Not just the most hyped ones like Sky-Scrapers but also those that are relatively quiet like Machina. Edit: Think the Watcher and Marvel What If?
Fingers crossed we get a duel links event that helps the multiverse plot. As well as yugioh 9 being based around multiverse hopefully this means that finally we get to see every protagonist on screen at once and maybe if we’re lucky we might get a duel beetween all of them as to finally clear up who is truly the strongest protagonist.
well let's not get ahead of ourselves, it could just be speaking of a multiverse inside the specific canon of Go Rush. Each series does not have to exactly be connected since most of what it does is simply building on the commonality of the card game. Arc V can be argued otherwise b/c of the legacy characters, but I feel they were mostly included simply for fanservice reasons since Arc V was in this weird state of time of celebrating all things YGO while being a thing on its own.
Let’s not also forget darkness’s voice lines in gx season 4. He explains the future for humanity and how he is from a world thats not like the gx universe. He wanted to bring all world to be one which can mean timelines, dimensions, or realities we don’t know but it seemed like he was saying timelines or realities. Also kiaba corp being gone in zexel is a bit on the nose of being a multiverse.
@@adammorin2955We do know exactly what Darkness meant actually. He was referring to the 12 universes in GX. It was also actually Yubel’s plan to fuse the 12 together but that’s neither here nor there.
Season 2 for me was definitely fantastic, especially Kuaidul, but the first season felt bland, and Season 3 with the exception of Kuaidul since 114 just really didn’t work in my opinion. As Yuamu’s plan was just selfish, as Yuna points out, but it took losing her Darkmen and Yuna, for Yuamu to finally think, “Yeah I might have gone too far with this.”
So it's not a "Rush Era's villain problem" but Sevens's villain problem, and even there I'd say Sevens season 1 villain problem, and then I'd say it wasn't a problem as having no real bad guy as an antagonist was a nice change of pace for Sevens season 1 as long as it didn't continue. Season 2 gave us Yuo and Goha Yuga, who were proper evil bad guys. They needed better final slowdowns, but their character was on point.
@@shadowsire6521 Nothing, I enjoyed Yuamu as a villain. Otes has been fun too. Yuna just feels like the most villainous of the three for this Season rn.
@@genyakozlov1316 That's definitely valid. I was cool with Sevens' approach to the antagonists, but I think Go Rush has done a better job with the more serious antagonists than the second half of Sevens did.
I still think that DM, GX, 5ds, and Zexal are on the same timeline. The only counterargument that i really hear is that there are no onscreen synchros in Zexal, but that doesnt prove anything, especially since Karakuri Shogun appears on one of Yuma's spells. They exist, people just arent playing them onscreen
One thing I would like to know is how exactly would someone travel to a parallel world in the anime? Would it work like Duel Links through gates or how in Arc V there was a special feature in the duel disk to travel to these parallel worlds? I would like to see this answered and explained further in Go Rush somehow. Also maybe Rituals in Rush could mean something very significant since it was introduced late into the show. Maybe the other characters could end up using the mechanic just like they did with Fusion summoning.
Considering that GO RUSH only has one more Arc left (unless they unexpectedly confirm something else), I doubt that the Main Cast will have Ritual Monsters (I mean, it happened with Maximum Monsters: Zwijo and Yuamu didn't get Maximum and Yudias lost his Maximum) Most likely, Ritual Summon will be a recurring Mechanic in a Third Rush's Anime.
@@brunosanto3488Yeah that’s true actually but it would be interesting to see what happens next with Rituals in Rush. To be honest if Go Rush ends up continuing or something then I won’t be surprised
Fans: WOW THEY CONFIRMED THE MULTIVERSE I'M PRETTY SURE THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE SOMETHING AMAZING WITH TH... Yugioh Go Rush: IT'S PICKLE YUDIAS!!! FROM THE PICKLE UNVIRSE!!! Fans: oh... What i'm saying is: THEY CONFIRMED THE RUSH MULTIVERSE... not the main multiverse so i'm pretty sure the most incredible thing they will do is give somekind of Alt Yudias to be the Final Antagonist of Go Rush... even if i BEG YOU YUGIOH GO RUSH DON'T DO IT!!! is already episode 135 and the story isnt' going to end soon... or at least ... it doesn't seem like that
There’s maybe 13 episodes of Go Rush left, we’ve just had 137 and we know it’ll end around 150 if usual trends hold. My own personal thoughts is I think it’s setting up Yudias to be the final boss of Go Rush because of how Kuaidul has been messing with him but we’ll have to wait and see.
It would make sense that Go Rush is ending soon and they are setting multiverse for anime 9 where that would be the whole plot also if that is case can we please have it named Yugioh Multi
I’m hoping we get the Rush cards with the standard rules of yugioh just so ppl can stop complaining why they hate rush I really love Rush cards and the rush anime
No one is talking about it but the series 12 of main boosters is all about multiverse (the "yugioh what if"), each booster is an entire new universe with a different result. I think we are reaching a really big hit on Duel Links with this talk
"Probably within the confines of their own world" but that's always the point with time travel: is it, or are they changing things with that act? Because in Go Rush, Goha hasn't assimilated Mutsuba yet, but with Yuna gone it's without leadership, meaning it would not become the megacorp it was in Sevens. It might be a fixed case, everything we see has already happened in Sevens and will get back on track, but it might not be, which would mean Yuna has created another world. It will be interesting to see where it's going.
@ from a narrative perspective yes but a universe is a separate time line or branched time line while a dimension is an overlapping space on the same time line
We already knew they were parallel worlds, therefore different versions of the legacy characters than the previous show ones. We don’t have confirmation that the protags are essential entities to those worlds, ripped from them somehow. It’s just as likely that the Dimensions are versions that don’t have those protags in any sense. They’re like a miracle to the show they got.
There's a theory why previous shows protagonist didn't show up (even if they aren't the same) saying something about like Zarc absorbed those protagonist into each of his split counterpart. Not counting Yugi because no Legacy character appeared from DM.
This doesn't explain much, infact it makes ArcV's plot even more confusing. Because Leo created interdimensional travel and we got no explaination why they could travel among only 4 worlds.
Not quite, Fusion was introduced with about 40 episodes remaining in the series (which was almost half of the series), Go Rush most likely only has about 12 episodes left - a new series is most likely going to be announced at Jump Fest and usually the new Yugioh anime start airing in the Spring, which would align with Go Rush ending at around 151 episodes.
@ yeah with the episode difference I agree. But it was towards the end of the show. Where most of it lead to maximum cards. And then out of the blue fusion and then that became more so people boss.
@@dannybishop9179 yeah but lets also think that they drop a lore bomb that this character can travel the multiverse and boom he can ritual summon is a bit on the nose
@@adammorin2955 to be fair I can’t watch the episode yet. I don’t know the site yugioh everything used or everyone else. But watch cartoon online only has up to 130. So about 5 episodes behind
@@adammorin2955 I do agree the multiverse shit isn’t great in my opinion as it’s being over used. And I don’t like how that could effect things in future, but always interested to see where it goes
Shoutouts to Kuaidul for trying to give maturity to Yudias. Basically Kuaidul is explaining that going to another universe is quite similar to messing with time because it implies that it's taboo and so far everything that happened in this show is because time has been messed up all thanks to the action of the original Otes and Yuga.
Fissssssssshhhhhh, someone was asking for Ritual mechanic in Rush back few months ago. And I commented it with "Ritual monster probably change as Normal/Effect monsters". No, I got it with Rush duel able to draw 5 every turn when hand is empty but now they making Ritual monsters... well, unless the game introduce new mechanic lingering effect that applies to Ritual monster.
When one villain from one dimension wants to control the world and other villains have another objective from other worlds, they don't mix; one can interfere with another one's plans in the multiverse unless they have the same. Goal and decide to team up, but some villains would not want a team member. It's not just the hero vs. the villain, but it could be villain vs. villain, and for a villain that wants to control all dimensions or destroy all dimensions, it is a very big goal.
I'll disagree on thr ArcV manga placement on the timeline due to the duel vs Eve referencing numbers AND ZONE's timelords So it's something like this 5Ds - Zexal A/ Zexal B - Arc V manga
ArcV manga has the characters recognize monsters that quite literally never existed before. If anything, that is proof that it is another bizarro timeline like anime ArcV.
arc v (anime) and dark sides of dimensions rilly did support the multi verse theory along with zexal (anime) and 5ds (anime) and with vrains it makes sense that it is in the manga timeline right after dsod, And it makes sense for the manga to be in their own timelines since there not cannon to the anime (except for dm, dsod, and vrains witch are still on a separate timeline, but they interconnect; same thing for 7s and go rush however we currently don't know if there already in the same timeline/wrold as the other anime/manga just in a different location or in its own timeline/wrold) but are their own thing and dule links/go rush confirmed it. I'm interested on what direction the rush anime (if the next series is a rush anime) they could continue to be its own thing, or could be similar to arc v but it's a dule links anime; or rush could be its own thing and we could get a separate anime for dule links or/and a card lore anime and the next rush anime could be about dule links or it could just make rush into a trilogy .
With Jump festa coming up i thought of an idea for a movie that i would like to see. With this year being the 20 year anniversary of pyramid of light movie i want to see it get remade with the production quality of DSOD or at least something close to the quality of that movie, Yugi and Kaiba use their modern day decks and Anubis actually being a well-developed and great antagonist.
Since the original manga reached the 20th anniversary they seem to push the manga side of DM more than the anime, so I doubt they will remaster the movie
I have a theory maybe ritual summon can only be used by ones who have understood how the universe and the multiverse works so maybe thats why kuaidul dueled yudias not only to finally teach him to have free will but also taught him about the multiverse so yudias can unlock ritual summoning
Since I cannot find the episodes on my sites, I cannot find the watch-a-long on this channel, and search results are being bad I have to ask this comment section for help finding the episodes in sub
Everytime a multiverse is talked about it usually means a new summoning mechanic that has not been seen yet or an ancient summon mechanic, and we got rituals coming to rush duels woot. Im so excited to see more being summon mechanic being added
For my yugioh CPU vs CPU tournaments I have the characters in different universes. Like arc v I have rhe fusion, synchro, xyz and pendulum worlds. But also have the ancient past, distorted future, barian world and monster world. There is also the shadow realm but that is Mainly a seal for Zarc and a few others which might start appearing. Might also have a link verse but that might just be cyber space.
God I hope if it is a multiverse show, I hope that it is revealed the the go rush/ sevens universe is actually a new 5th dimension created by zarc splitting again
The anime, yes; as for the manga, no, it's an entirely different plot that leads its own setting of the signer dragons to a darker area, and the characters and the duel are more life and death.
@@urm0m69@urm0m69 Ah, you are right. They showed the anime, but to say timeline, when there is computing of separate uvnerise does muddle things grant it when it comes to that area comes speculation and also, things get muddy, but ya right. It been a bit since I read it.
5DS specifically makes clear that the multiverse is NOT fed by timetravel. If you change the history of your timeline, the original present and future are overwritten. A new timeline is not created, the old is replaced. Thus, the anime says nothing about the multiverse, while the manga does.
In fact, this idea of the existence of Parallel Worlds could give a reason why we still haven't seen SEVENS! Otes in GO RUSH: that Man is actually in a Parallel World (and I wouldn't be surprised if he created Ritual Summon in that Parallel World) I will also say that this gives more weight to the possibility that Yuga may not have returned to his Original World, but to a Parallel World at the end of Season 2.
Ok, now i wanna the next Yu-gi-oh anime be like Arc-V of Rush Duels. We have maximums, fusions and rituals, it's missing just one method. It can be Xyz or an entirely new one, just give me another Dimensions Duel War but make it right this time.
I've always said that many things in Go Rush don't add up with what was shown/said in Sevens to be in the same timeline (the Sogetsu's and their non-existent relationship with the Nanahoshi's alone should've made you question things) but people were so desperately hanging on the thought of "it will make sense eventually, trust" when trying to discuss. And now, boom: Multiverse/Parallelverse. The easiest and kinda "laziest" solution but better than GR fully commiting to "yeah, it's the same timeline" which would mean so many retcons. Tbh, the Go Rush manga already introduced the idea of parallel universes through That Guy (who isn't Yuga in the manga) so the anime going for the same route isn't exactly surprising. But that pretty much confirms that ygo 9 will be another Rush series, likely with Ritual summon focus, and who knows, maybe at the end of ygo 9, there will be a full crossover of Yuga and Yudias meeting the ygo 9 protag. (that or a movie à la Bonds Beyond Time)
I don't know if I should call it a retcon considering that GO RUSH itself recognizes that there are elements that are not the same as SEVENS since the first Arc and they only became more evident as the Arcs went by. Not to mention that Yuga himself recognizes that Rush Duels shouldn't exist in GO RUSH due to the implications that it brings (not to mention that they had to reintroduce Fusion in GO RUSH: create it from scratch with Yuga's help) Not to mention the Episode where the Ohdo twins went to SEVENS's World and realized that nothing had changed despite the many changes that GO RUSH made in the past: Rush Duels, Galaxy, Equip Spell, Fusion, Maximum, etc. The same Episode also reveals that UTS exists, but there was no contact with Aliens, as well as no information or record of MIK (there is of Mutsuba, who was absorbed by Goha in SEVENS) Clearly, from the beginning, it can be said that GO RUSH is a Parallel World to SEVENS: a world reminiscent of SEVENS's Past.
@@brunosanto3488 I'm mainly talking about the *people* watching GR not wanting to believe that the differences mean that GR and 7s aren't in the same timeline. I dealed with ignorant people trying to talk me down in that regard too many times. Also it doesn't matter if characters maybe thought "this is different" here and then when they were still believing in Yuga's future being in the same timeline as them, just look at Yuamu's whole deal of wanting to save the future for Yuga's sake in arc 9, 10 and almost all of arc 11. Heck, they still do rn? Like how everyone just bought Yuamu's silence on if Velgearians don't exist in the future as "oh noo, they stay d*ad?! Yudias won't win the duel??" when girlie was only *one* freaking day in Goha City. (also nobody believing in the option of Velgearians just being back to Velgear instead of non-existent in the future is so weird like Yuamu might have thought "maybe we simply didn't meet the Velgearians" but she seemed more leaning towards the "they are gone for good" option) Right now, only Kuaidul and Yudias know about the multiverse while everyone else is still on the "same timeline" belief. Maybe you should reread my comment because Idk why you basically go "well, actually..." at me.
Not only Nanahoshi and Manabu are a weird pair. In Go Rush Tanzaki Galien ancestor seems to be very loyal to the Ohdo family but in Sevens the two familias seems to not have any conection despite the fact that Go Rush doesn't seem to happen that far before in the timeline. I'm at the first arc of S2 so I guess things can chane later, but for the moment is odd
But Go Rush is committing to it being the same timeline. They’ve stated many times that Sevens world would be accessed by travelling through time, including after 135 introduced multiverse ideas. There is some inconsistencies between the two time periods but none so great as to be unresolvable, especially when the gap in time could be potentially hundreds of years. The connection between the Sogetsu and Nanahoshi families is mentioned, it’s just that the two characters from said families that are here don’t follow tradition.
This is getting real interesting! I know some people were suggesting Yu-Gi-Oh 9 with Epoc as the main character, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's possibly Yudias/Kuiadul and Zwigo as MCs trying to solve the mysteries of the multiverse and/or preventing its destruction. Also, this also makes a hybrid rush and master rule anime much more likely in my opinion, time will tell, though!
If you do eventually make a new Timeline video, I want to draw your attention to episode 156 of GX. When Sheppard is looking through the records of the missing students, we see that Jaden’s 3 years at Duel Academy are 2004, 2005, and 2006 (Zane’s are 02-04, Bastion’s are just 04 and 05), which would have GX starting in 2004 and ending in spring of 2007 when everyone graduates.
Kuaidul didn't do the first ritual summon; George Jersey beat him to the punch 120 episodes ago. (Yes I do know that Black Luster Jersey Ritual isn't an actual ritual.)
It will never not be weird that they established that rituals have been reworked into being bonus effects...just to bring back rituals as a seperate card type.
This reminds me of the ending of Digimon Fusion or the one Power Rangers special, where the casts from the previous series showed up for a big battle with a threat.
With the exception of Transcend game and DsoD giving an epilogue to the manga, Takahashi had not made mainline developmental choices since 5DS. Nothing practical changed with his passing besides locking in his "just a possible future" illustration as canon because he cannot change his mind about it anymore.
Imo, the episode and ideia were really good, but i think the execution was kinda lacking, you have something as cool as multiverse theory, and because of the "goofy nature" of the rush anime, they wasted it by showing "goofy" worlds. I really dont mind the comedy of the rush anime, but i think they should know when to be serious and when to do comedy. They lose a lot of appeal when they kill a serious scene by making these jokes.
Pretty sure Arc V confirmed it first (kinda since it’s slit words from original one) but of course they had to ruin the potential world building so clown boy doesn’t lose his purpose.
If they do anything with a multiverse, hopefully it's like a movie or special. Something for the pure fanservice aspect, so it can just be sort of standalone. I just find multiverses as a story device often misused and leads to further issues with writing for a long series of content. We already have an example of that within Yugioh, and that's honestly lightweight from what Go Rush is implying. If a show does have this element, I hope it keeps focus on whatever the goal the show is going for.
I have a theory about why Pegasus is alive in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. After the events of the movie Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions, we see that Seto Kaiba, obsessed with surpassing Pharaoh Atem, decides to push KaibaCorp's technology to the limit. He had already created advanced systems like Duel Links and mastered the principles of the Dimensional Cube technology used by Aigami. However, dissatisfied with the limitations of holograms and simulations, Kaiba decides to go further and designs something that defies the laws of reality: a time machine. However, time travel presents unexpected challenges. During the initial tests, Kaiba makes short time jumps to ensure the machine works correctly, but in one of these tests, he accidentally affects small events in history, creating subtle changes in the timeline. One of these alterations involves Maximillion Pegasus. In the original Battle City arc, Pegasus is supposedly killed after Bakura takes his Millennium Eye. However, in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, he is shown alive, interacting with Jaden Yuki and other characters, something many fans have questioned. The explanation for this, according to this theory, lies in Kaiba's actions. During one of his journeys to the past, Kaiba realizes that Pegasus, as the creator of the cards and the modern dueling system, is a crucial figure for KaibaCorp's legacy and the future of dueling. Understanding this, Kaiba uses his knowledge of the future to prevent Pegasus's death, ensuring that he survives without drastically altering major events. This would explain Pegasus's presence in GX despite his seemingly confirmed death in Battle City.
Good theory, man, but sadly, when reading the interaction between Paradox and Pegasus, the Pegasus we have in Duel Links is manga and dead, as he even states he doesn’t exist anymore to Paradox. And it was not Battle City where Pegasus died; it was Duelist Kingdom, right after Yugi and Atem beat him. In short, this part shows that Pegasus in Duel Links is one of the characters brought back from the deceased where its still theory how people are coming back. Furthermore, DSOD is manga continuity, while the Pegasus in GX is anime continuity. This reveals a couple of things but also creates issues. Duel Links, despite being the continuation of Vrain and DSOD the game not just multiverse but mixes anime and manga in one continuity blending all events, interactions, cards, and card knowledge when neither continuity would ever know. As I said, it brings more questions but also problems, as it leads to continuity conflicts and muddles the canon, even messing up theories.
Why is it so hard to just accept that anime GX is infact an anime sequel and manga GX is a manga sequel? In the Manga, Pegasus only makes a cameo in Winged Kuriboh's memories because he's dead and in the anime, he is there without question because he is still alive. We really do not need any convoluted theories to solve the already solved.
He is the mastermind behind seasons 1 and 2 like Lighting was for Vrains. Both are awesome, with lighting having a better deck and Kuaidul having a deeper personality. They even share a colour scheme.
Curious if the next Yugioh Series will explore the multiverse? (Similar to Arc-V). Though on the topic of Arcs, I wonder how GO Rush's final arc will play out?
@@psychicmaster92 Its so hard to predict. I am caught in 2 minds of either it being based on Yuga's future or on the Multiverse. Or maybe they could link both together. For example they stop Yuga's future from occuring which leads to a collapse in Spacetime?
Umm, where did u watch this episode in english subbed? I haven’t found any site that aired yugioh go rush after episode 131 in english subbed. Please tell me what site you used to watch
Damn, Kuaidul found the Ritual Dimension for us.
Thats why he is the 🐐
Indeed that's my Boi
@United4Eternityyes he is ❤
FACTS!
the very lost ritual dimension from Arc V, the dimension we never had!
I think it’s the opposite, Kuaidul called out Yudias for never fighting for himself and having no desire or free will of his own.
I would love it, another Rush Anime would be brilliant, and exploring a multiverse would be sensational.
Also, Kuaidul himself mentioned that he brought Ritual Summon from a Parallel World (which was not shown on screen)
I think it's more about the fact that if there was a Third Rush's Anime, it would take place in that Parallel World where Ritual Monsters/Summon exist in Rush Duels.
This video is very funny for me, because i watched a video like a month ago talking about the multiverse and it really is amazing that the community has really forgotten various details from the franchise that clued us to this since long ago:
The first one and the funniest one, DSOD, not only are the title and main power of the Plana and the cube about dimensions, but also the movie's intro is literally us watching the multiverse
Then there is Ylliaster, in both BBT and the WRGP arc we see that (at least in the animeverse) there are no branching timelines, when someone time travels and changes history the timeline is completely erased and rewritten, we see it when Paradox kills Pegasus and when that Momentum Express guy gets erased, so there cannot be a timeline where Paradox wins because that would erase the 5D's timeline where we see how the signers beat Z-one
Relating to the previous point, there seems to be Tuner monsters in Zexal (apparently one appears in the first chapter if i remember correctly) we just never see anyone synchro summon, also that in III's DL event we learn that Kaiba Corp doesn't exist in the world of Zexal (making the statues just a reference for us, their legendary status would be just a nod for us like in Sevens), same with Arc-V and Vrains being their own worlds unrelated to the previous shows
And finally the Rushverse being it's own thing but part of the massive Yugioh multiverse
People have claimed it “contradictory” when it’s clearly cope of a claim. Yugioh ALWAYS had a massive cosmology
Those are not multiverse.
@@lpfan4491
GX mentioned 12 different dimensions
@@Nikolai2i Which are not multiverse. Multiverse is about diffrent divergent possibilities, while all of these are tied to the same possibility "in the same world". Just like how in ArcV, there are not 4 possibilities that can lead to any of the 4 dimensions but instead one possibility that leads to all 4 at the same time.
That would also be why they are depicted as easier to travel between despite also being physically seperate spaces. These "inner barriers" are easier to breach than the "outer barrier" one would have to pass to go to another world entirely.
@@lpfan4491 Please shuddup
If I'm not mistaken, wasn't it already confirmed in DSoD? Aogami's entire powerset is literally based around quantum physics.
Literally one of the things we see in the movie is a series of worlds paralelo worlds or dimensiones I guess
One step closer to a Duel Links anime
I mean... Arc V showed us there was a multiverse lol
not really, no
all it showed us was that the og anime timeline getting split into 4 dimensions.
So…. Using anime changes to manga…. Please no. There are problems with this due to the studios who changed the stories for child suitability
Eso es bastante obvio que el siguiente anime va a seguir siendo Rush Por qué han tenido un gran rating en Japón
Freindly reminder we still dont know who the f**k is the character in the robot at the end of 7s.
Fun to think about
while yeah that would be cool, but isn’t it so that seto kaiba (DM) was the one who made duel links?
so like would it not have been something that was created before vrains or am i tripping
Kuaidul was so ballsy to reveal all this.
(Also that episode kinda felt like End of Eva lmao)
...I'm just hoping the writers don't mess this up and have talks to the Duel Links' scenario writing team to fully connect it altogether.
Lets be honest Kuaidul's character is all about being ballsy. Remember he tried to take control of the whole universe
The funniest thing is that Kuaidul's VA in Japanese is the same as Kusanagi's in VRAINS.
@@brunosanto3488I always liked Kusanagi too lol. Its funny because I wished he was more important in Vrains, and well turns out his VA has played such an important character now!
Kuaidul is the best and my favorite character in go rush I just wish he gets more screen time
@@Arcknight8049I predict that he will shine in the final arc.
Exactly
Exactamente es simplemente un multiverso pero simplemente un multiverso de Rush
Yeah arc v and bbt are fanservice
Dude I NEED to start watching go rush 😭🙏
You will love it! My fav Yugioh Anime 😊
Kuiadul, Zwijo and Yuna certainly solved the Rush Era's villain problem.
Indeed, even Phaser in his 12 episode villain arc seemed intimidating lol
What in your opinion is wrong with Yuamu/Dark Meister antagonist?

No. Just… no.
Kuaidul Velgear! Thanks for having your own space in the multiverse. I’ll be involved with DL and anime viewing as all things related to this develop.
I think when Kuaidul wakes up from his Unconscious state he will explain more. Its why I cannot wait for 138 and 139
Considering that GO RUSH only has one more Arc left (unless they unexpectedly confirm something else), I doubt that the Main Cast will have Ritual Monsters (I mean, it happened with Maximum Monsters: Zwijo and Yuamu didn't get Maximum and Yudias lost his Maximum)
Most likely, Ritual Summon will be a recurring Mechanic in a Third Rush's Anime.
@United4EternityThat I’m looking forward to

It would make sense that Go Rush is ending soon and they are setting multiverse for anime 9 where that would be the whole plot

I’m hoping we get the Rush cards with the standard rules of yugioh just so ppl can stop complaining why they hate rush
I really love Rush cards and the rush anime
Y el siguiente anime va a seguir siendo Rush sí o sí
No one is talking about it but the series 12 of main boosters is all about multiverse (the "yugioh what if"), each booster is an entire new universe with a different result. I think we are reaching a really big hit on Duel Links with this talk
Isn't the entirety of the Visas storyline essentially a multiverse story or something? If so, the main booster thing could be a coincidence.
We already knew the multiverse was real. There was an entire anime about it.
Definitely some real exciting times indeed for Yu-Gi-Oh.
Its funny, when Rush released, I thought it would flop. But now I can gladly say it has been Abseloutely Sensational!!
Arc v had 1 universe split in 4
It had one universe split into 4 dimensions which is similar to how in GX they had 12 dimensions
@@mr2oxking people forget that season due it to being kinda meh
Multiverse is all about alternate possibilities. Stuff like ArcV and the GX dimensions are the same possibility.
@ from a narrative perspective yes but a universe is a separate time line or branched time line while a dimension is an overlapping space on the same time line
That would explain why there were no other protagonists in arc v in their dimensions
I havent noticed
We already knew they were parallel worlds, therefore different versions of the legacy characters than the previous show ones. We don’t have confirmation that the protags are essential entities to those worlds, ripped from them somehow. It’s just as likely that the Dimensions are versions that don’t have those protags in any sense. They’re like a miracle to the show they got.
The timeline has been a bit of a mess since zexal this means a lot
There's a theory why previous shows protagonist didn't show up (even if they aren't the same) saying something about like Zarc absorbed those protagonist into each of his split counterpart. Not counting Yugi because no Legacy character appeared from DM.
This doesn't explain much, infact it makes ArcV's plot even more confusing.
Because Leo created interdimensional travel and we got no explaination why they could travel among only 4 worlds.
wow, so that means that in a way Nightmare Troubadour, Reshef of Destruction, etc are all technically cannonically possible.
To be fair this roughly were seven introduced fusion. So I wouldn’t say it’s so far of for go rush to introduce a new mechanic like ritual

But it was towards the end of the show.

This series is new age Zexal, where there's reality bending cards
They're introducing Rituals to Rush Duel before releasing it in America
Kuaidul is one of my best character in Go Rush
How do we know the multiverse they are talking about are about the other worlds in the other yugioh shows
We don't
I'll disagree on thr ArcV manga placement on the timeline due to the duel vs Eve referencing numbers AND ZONE's timelords
So it's something like this
5Ds - Zexal A/ Zexal B - Arc V manga
It was only a matter of time! There was enough connective tissue to reach this conclusion! Just great to have direct confirmation!
you realize arc z was all about the multiverse
All franchises ultimately end up as multiverses.
I have a theory maybe ritual summon can only be used by ones who have understood how the universe and the multiverse works so maybe thats why kuaidul dueled yudias not only to finally teach him to have free will but also taught him about the multiverse so yudias can unlock ritual summoning
If this doesnt get the Haters to watch Rush, I dont know what will...

All this Multiverse talk, yet we are never getting another non-Rush anime again.
God I hope if it is a multiverse show, I hope that it is revealed the the go rush/ sevens universe is actually a new 5th dimension created by zarc splitting again
Didn't they alr confirmed different timelines at the time of 5D's with bothe the anime AND the mang tho?
The anime, yes; as for the manga, no, it's an entirely different plot that leads its own setting of the signer dragons to a darker area, and the characters and the duel are more life and death.
@tajwilson2913 the manga has Yusei literally seeing the anime timeline tho
Otes in GO RUSH: that Man is actually in a Parallel World (and I wouldn't be surprised if he created Ritual Summon in that Parallel World)
I will also say that this gives more weight to the possibility that Yuga may not have returned to his Original World, but to a Parallel World at the end of Season 2.
I can't believe there's a multiverse of Yu Gi Oh worlds
Ok, now i wanna the next Yu-gi-oh anime be like Arc-V of Rush Duels. We have maximums, fusions and rituals, it's missing just one method. It can be Xyz or an entirely new one, just give me another Dimensions Duel War but make it right this time.
Now I want GO Rush characters duel with GX characters.
I’m surprised they aren’t saving something like this for yugioh 10
Not to mention that Yuga himself recognizes that Rush Duels shouldn't exist in GO RUSH due to the implications that it brings (not to mention that they had to reintroduce Fusion in GO RUSH: create it from scratch with Yuga's help)
Not to mention the Episode where the Ohdo twins went to SEVENS's World and realized that nothing had changed despite the many changes that GO RUSH made in the past: Rush Duels, Galaxy, Equip Spell, Fusion, Maximum, etc. The same Episode also reveals that UTS exists, but there was no contact with Aliens, as well as no information or record of MIK (there is of Mutsuba, who was absorbed by Goha in SEVENS)
Clearly, from the beginning, it can be said that GO RUSH is a Parallel World to SEVENS: a world reminiscent of SEVENS's Past.
@@FranciscoRamirez-nb4uu This is why I said the Sogetsu and Nanahoshi in GR are an example of "that doesn't add up", Tazaki is just another case.
It may be random to you, but I'm just gonna say it: PoL has the most beautiful animation in all of Yu-Gi-Oh. 🍻🙃
Im soo excited to see yudias vs black otes
The vehicle you show in the clips reminds me of Paradox's "time machine" duel runner from Bonds Beyone Time.
What if he becomes a paradox basically turning into paradox while his form is traveling the multiverse
7:22 that is yugioh 10 rather than 9
The sad thing is I would have been happy to see this but thanks to media I've lost my love for the multiverse
This fits SpellCommander91 timeline
If you do eventually make a new Timeline video, I want to draw your attention to episode 156 of GX. When Sheppard is looking through the records of the missing students, we see that Jaden’s 3 years at Duel Academy are 2004, 2005, and 2006 (Zane’s are 02-04, Bastion’s are just 04 and 05), which would have GX starting in 2004 and ending in spring of 2007 when everyone graduates.
What Character does Dylan want to travel in the multiverse and where to.
Yes, Ritual is comeback.. but i still wondering, if Rush using Xyz, Tuner, Link, Pendulum on Duel. How overpower is Rush duel 😂
Hopefully we’ll get another Movie crossover again
Willing to bet in every single universe they play RUSH DUELS
Yuya: Wtf Yuzu is my mom in this dimension ? 💀 Wth is going here ?
Bro is about to experiment the love of mother at another level 💀
Yuya:"Good morning, mom."
Yuzu:"Not funny, didn't laugh. That alternate world is just weird, stop making jokes about it."
Nice job with the video Dylan. Great work.
Yudias’ design is cool
This reminds me of the ending of Digimon Fusion or the one Power Rangers special, where the casts from the previous series showed up for a big battle with a threat.
Who makes the decisions for Yugioh currently? Like not Konami the company but I mean with Takahashi gone who is considered the author of it.
Kuaidul going have best approach on duel links
Pretty sure Arc V confirmed it first (kinda since it’s slit words from original one) but of course they had to ruin the potential world building so clown boy doesn’t lose his purpose.
A.... another multiverse , if you can't make is care for one dimension, why care for copycat
It always was real. It was confirmed several times
If a show does have this element, I hope it keeps focus on whatever the goal the show is going for.
dibt forget in the 5Ds manga they talk about ither realties as well :)
I liked to think one of those disturbing worlds yudias saw was z-ones future from 5ds
I love Kuaidul so much. Go rush wouldn't be the same without him.
He is box office, so entertaining
He is the mastermind behind seasons 1 and 2 like Lighting was for Vrains. Both are awesome, with lighting having a better deck and Kuaidul having a deeper personality. They even share a colour scheme.
@@genyakozlov1316 And both use Light attribute
Curious if the next Yugioh Series will explore the multiverse? (Similar to Arc-V). Though on the topic of Arcs, I wonder how GO Rush's final arc will play out?
@@psychicmaster92 Its so hard to predict. I am caught in 2 minds of either it being based on Yuga's future or on the Multiverse. Or maybe they could link both together. For example they stop Yuga's future from occuring which leads to a collapse in Spacetime?
I pray it will be great and maybe see a surprising or rather an unexpected character appearance.
Umm, where did u watch this episode in english subbed? I haven’t found any site that aired yugioh go rush after episode 131 in english subbed. Please tell me what site you used to watch
9anime or h!anime should have ep 131-137.
I just hope we get a female yu-gi-oh 9 character name yulu that using normal monsters to ritual summon
Why? I just want a good written character idc who it js
