I used gearup and my ping got even worse, maybe it works for US or EU players, but it ain't working for asia. My ping is about 85, but when I turn on gearup it got 120+
sometimes helpful, sometimes not actually.
For me, I'm living in East Russia, my best ping server is Tokyo approx 59-70 , sometimes due to the provider it happens 420ms, sometimes there are simply packet losses that are fixed by this soft.Just recently there was an earthquake in Japan, because of which the ping in my region suffered greatly, but it’s good that everything was fixed today.
upd: my friends who play Apex Legends my friends who play apex legends say that the program always helps, sometimes in some matches there is a very bad ping
