Hi Jack, You are a strong evidence that the market has plenty of tradable patterns. Some people say, in the long run, traders can only break even because the market is mostly random. I think they are not quite correct, but I think they are not completely wrong. I have a theory that the market always has plenty of tradable patterns, but also has enough randomness that causes traders to get fatigued, overtime. Then, the traders become victims of their own false predictions based on Apophenia, Confirmation Bias, and other misjudgments, as if they are trading in a market that is mostly random. I think this gives some observers the impression that the market is mostly random.
Jdub should i combine a price reaction off a higher time frame zone with a premarket level cross? or enter as soon as price reacts from that higher tf zone? I use timeframe alignment with either method.

bro , i really do not know what is wrong with me , i have a strategy , it has around 70% winning rate with R1:2 winning ratio but i really can not wait for it , or whenever i take a trade and lose it , i end up feeling mad , and start to change my strategy , but i general my strategy really works well , my problem , is not being able to wait for it
It’s your psychology. Read ‘The Mental Game of Trading’ and ‘Trading in the zone’ Journal your emotions before you enter a trade, during, and after. Then review and you’ll see patterns. Figure out what emotion is stopping you: - Fear (Risk Aversion, fear of losing, fear of being wrong, etc) - Discipline (do you follow your plan?) - Confidence (do you trust your strategy? Is it a proven strategy that has been back tested? If so, why aren’t you confident?) - Anger (Does losing make you angry? It’s part of the game. Learn to change your mindset aka losing is part of the game and your strategy) - Greed/FOMO (boredom, seeing others results)
This is the other half of trading and hardest imo. 1st half you dedicate all the time and practice to a strategy and understanding it, you then have to conquer your emotions. Patience on set ups, confidence to enter, and discipline to stay in until your Profit target or Stop Loss. Biggest thing I’ve done is identify the bad habits and then every week focus on breaking 1 of those bad habits while paper trading. Eventually you’ll have the emotional discipline
