Courtney Renee Not before until recently. This isn't rock at all to me. I mean I like the band and song don't get me wrong. But the lyrics just tell me that this isn't rock at all. Honestly, imagine someone from the 70's and 80's who listen to rock. I doubt you would see those exact people listen to this type of music. Again I'm not hating ADTR, in fact they're one of my fav. bands but this isn't rock at all. I could be wrong, but It's why there are a lot of sub-genres because people really can't define what's rock or metal these days. I've heard people actually say that they listen to metal and the bands they tell me are all Warped Tour bands like Issues, Bring Me The Horizon and so on. I hope I didn't offend you and honestly if you have friends/classmates who think rock and metal is all growling. Go tell them to go fuck themselves and give the music a shot.

As soon as I heard this song I broke down crying because in one sense of a phrase, this is how I live my life, through my music and guitar. Through the deepest depression of my life and alcohol problems, music has always been there for me.
