Being from outside the States I never had any affiliation to any NBA team so it was tough to get into watching the games. I decided whoever drafted MyPlayer in 2k17 I would pick as my team. So glad it was the Wolves, so fun to watch and root for. Perennial underdogs with a bright future. Even if we end up coming short in the playoffs, this season will be remembered for a long time.
I firmly believe as a Wolves we have one of the best defenses of the 2000’s. This team is a controlled Kat away from making a finals run. Let’s gooooooo Wolves!
Ya imma take those prime Spurs teams with Kawhi, Duncan, Parker, Ginoboli, Diaw, etc… Or if not them the true Grit and Grind Grizzlies with Tony Allen, Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, Zebo, etc.
In terms of points allowed per game as it relates to overall points per game per season, the wolves are the second best defensive team in the last 2 decades. The number of points per game average overall for the NBA is historically high. Only looking at points allowed per 100 possessions the wolves are in the top 40 for the last 2 decades, but I don't think it's fair to compare the early or mid 2000's(prior to the 3 point revolution) without taking into account ppg avg league wide for each year.
Dangg! NBA should hire you, that's how you promote a young superstar who's still in the making. This team being lead by Antman and Gobert reminds me of DWade and Shaq's Miami Heat 06 run.

They literally be moving around the court on defense like mad men! No laziness at all! That's how it is supposed to be at this level. That's why I think they can win it all. Even when they're down big, they're never out of the game. Have they even lost a game by 20 this year ? Like fr , I can't remember the last time they got spanked bad. If they lost bad, they were down a man or two, but even being without bigs they've battled.
@@Jevonechy I think there was a game against like the Rockets where we got beat by like 18. But I think it was because somebody was out and Finch was on one. Oh, I think I remember. I believe Conley was out and Finch didn't really sub in a replacement PG that game. He just put NAW in and told Ant it was his job to run the team and it went off the rails. But I also think that was one of those "growth" moments Ant needed and has helped him improve in running this team immensely.
@billhicks808 yeah I forgot about that game. But it's not a common occurrence, them losing by more than 15. Finch has grown as well. He's a great coach, compared to their first playoff run. He just needs to work on sitting the stars early. I don't think he has enough confidence to sit on a lead because of past blown ones lbs If they don't make it to the finals, I believe they can at least get to the conference finals.
@@Jevonechy if we get KAT back I think we can at least get to the WCF. With KAT there's never a time where we take the court and are outmatched in a series. Without him, that's a tougher go. It's not about Naz either, Naz is great, but without KAT not only do we not have KAT we also don't have a guy like Naz on the bench cause Naz has to start.
