- Hi everyone! In this short vlog we will resume our day trip to Stradbroke Island. One of the nearest island to reach from Brisbane in Queensland.
We've loved this island as soon we arrived there: lovely beaches, wild animals and lot of nature!
Our aim is to visit all Australia, starting our roadtrip from Brisbane, don't miss out what will happen next! It's just the beginning of our journey🇦🇺

North Stradbroke Island is my happy place! You cannot do Straddie in a day. It's got too much to offer. Your video was wonderful though. You got some fantastic footage.
You are right, we are definitely planning to go back to Straddie!
@@spotschasers If you do go back, check out Brown Lake 🙂 It's a fresh water lake you can swim in. It's surrounded by tea tree and malaleuca and the tannin leaches into the water, hence it is brown tinged. It's vast and it's divine. There are no deadly creatures in it either. You can sometimes see koalas, kangaroos , monitor lizards and, when I was there in October, nesting Curlews with chicks. Also the pub sits above the sea at Point Lookout. You can quite often see dolphins swimming past while you sip on your Bundy and coke 😁 The beaches often form beautiful, safe ( no munchies) lagoons you can swim in. Someone said to me "this Island gets into your soul". Well, I've been going there since 1978 and it's sure gotten into mine. .

Mate , did you pass the car on the ferry and did you pass without it?
Hi! We went to Stradbroke Island without the car (we left it in Cleveland) and we took the bus to explore the island! It was a good solution for us but it's possible to embark the car on the ferry from Brisbane. If you want to camp we highly recommend a 4WD otherwise you can go and see popular spots with a normal car.
