And the cemetery workers being suspicious, I’ve been approached by security on a golf cart before. Haha

"Lindenwood was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 17, 1978.[" The vented area on the lowere flour of the chapel was a recieving vault. You can see this combo in many older sites.

John H. Bass was founder of the old Bass Foundry and Machine works and dean of Fort Wayne's pioneer manufacturers. His country home, "Brookside", was one of Northern Indiana's most attractive suburban estates. The Bass mansion, surrounded by 300 wooded acres and artificial lakes, is now the home of St. Francis College.
For more than 60 years, Mr. Bass was a leader in the financial and industrial life of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Chief products of this foundry were railroad car wheels, axles, Corliss engines, boilers, power plants.
Mr. Bass for many years was president of the former First National Bank.

It was a crematorium (the chapel building)
The old chapel and crematory, built of native Indiana limestone, was erected near the center of the traditional sections in 1895, with its first cremation in 1897. This historic structure, situated on a high knoll, is still in use. The crematory is on the lower level and chapel room above.
The old chapel was designed by Wing & Mahurin, architects , and constructed by William Geake of Geake Brothers stone firm.
New tinted art glass windows were installed in the old chapel in 1971, and in 1973 the chapel and crematory were completely renovated, costing
$160 ,000. The building was equipped with a modern heating and air conditioning system. A new en-
trance to the structure was built on the west elevation and the semi-circular driveway leading up to the entrance was widened to 20 feet. The chapel's new interior decorations blend well with
the design of the old structure. This structure was also built of Indiana limestone with outer walls being three feet thick. The original slate roof was retained. Four original antique ceiling light fixtures were restored. Bronze-colored double aluminum entrance doors were installed on the western and southern elevations. The high ceiling was redecorated and walls of the nave were covered
with antique fabric, blending with new window draperies and carpeting. Six antique light fixtures on posts were installed along the drive, providing after-dark illumination.
After completion of its modernization, the
building was renamed The Chapel of the Woods."

The Lexington, Kentucky Cemetery is historical, very large and packed full of beautiful statuary. It has a website that gives you an idea of wha you will see there. The Henry Clay mausoleum, among numerous other historical graves, is there, it’s very large, made of white marble and you can see two marble caskets inside it. This would be well worth your time.

I love your videos!! There's so much history and beauty in cemeteries! You do have one's that are not taken care of also, which is sad. I enjoy walking through cemeteries. If you ever make it to Ohio to explore you need to check out Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland Ohio. It's a beauty. There's so much history there.

This looks like a holding room where ground was frozen over winter and hard to dig the body was often put in the cellar of the church until spring sometimes they were also used to let bodies decay a bit to make body unusable for grave robbers and the trade theirs a name for these places I must look up again I say now it looks like a storage room

As new wave as a lot of us are. Even tho we know you and your reasons. They don't. You put up visual flags with the hair, piercings and large silver beads. That would be my guess.
