Samantha, I have gone back and watched your Flosstube videos from the very beginning and I just find you so inspiring. You are kind, happy, enthusiastic and most of all entertaining. Thank you so much for being you and sharing you with us. You bring me joy - thank you 😊 looking forward to seeing you next video!
Hello Vonna, Thank you so much for watching. Please know your comment has me doing a happy dance! You have me all jazzed up. Truly I’m so thankful and I take your compliments to heart. ❤️ !!
Binge watching all of your videos! Lol…. I agree that stitching is like a journal of your life, I can remember which house I was in, what chair I sat in, it is like having a photographic memory, everything just comes flooding back. I love all of your stitching, you are a joy to watch!
Love your floss tube, you are a joy to listen to and seeing your stitching is lovely. I can hear in your voice how much you love this amazing hobby. A stitchy hug to you from South Africa.
Delica beads are just like Magnifica beads. They are also a lot less expensive and I often try to substitute delica’s for all the Mill Hill beads. They are a much better quality too!! I started stitching in the early 1990’s. My first “real” cross stitch project was a Teresa Wentzler. It’s still half done in my attic. They are beautiful but once I found other designers like Mirabilia, I realized I can have beautiful completed pieces that don’t take years to complete. I’m super new to flosstube. Fiber Arts Amy was the second person I found on RUclips. She also enabled me for a couple Mira patterns and also encouraged me to start 7 new projects….you should also watch The Needleberry Stitcher. Her videos are fun and she recommended Fiber Arts Amy. I have very few of my projects framed because for me stitching is a journey. I too look at them and can remember some of the same things. Like who I was with when I bought the pattern. Or who might have gifted me the fabric. I also collect scissors and they are the same way. I learned how to make needle minders so now when I go on trips or interesting places, I’ll buy a pin and turn it into a minder. Way more useful souvenir than a t-shirt or a shot glass. I enjoyed your video a lot! Happy Stitching!
Hi Sarah !! Thank you so much for your lovely comment as I enjoyed very much reading yours!! I hope you will pop over and visit with me again soon. Take care xxx 🦋 -Samantha
That new Mirabilia is beyond beautiful. I, being probably the slowest stitcher on the planet, could never do something like that so I will sit back and live vicariously through you. 😃Yes! You can finish What Remains. I would love to see all of your finishes. And thanks for giving us the names of other floss tubers. Take care.
Awe thank you so much Lori ! It’s truly my pleasure. I’m getting excited and already planning out my next video full of all my finishes. I hope you come back and check it out! - Samantha 🦋
I first saw your podcast where you showed "Violet" and commented that the pattern was selling on Ebay for $275. And it is no wonder it is still there. I have a granddaughter named Violet and I became obsessed with finding the pattern. I put a comment in FB for help and guess what. A lady from Australia contacted me and sent me the pattern for the cost of the beads and shipping. So I have the pattern, floss and beads and am on the hunt for fabric. But first I need to finish her mom and dad's wedding sampler. I am doing Lavender and Lace"The Wedding"and am 3/4 the way finished. Your excitement and joy for cross stitch inspires me. I might just ignore housework and stitch the day away.
Hello Nana! I’m so excited for you !! That’s amazing!! Enjoy every single stitch, it’s a great pattern. Thank you so much for watching my channel and for taking the time to comment. I truly appreciate it!! I hope you will come back for my finish parade episode soon. Take care 🦋
Yes!!! A finish parade .....can't wait Samantha! Lived spending some time with me. Really enjoyed your company and your gorgeous projects. Big hug Cindy... oh....before I forget!!!! You can finish them!
So love your videos Samantha! Your wizard of oz is beautiful and fun and can’t wait to see the large projects finished. I might suggest the glow in the dark beads on your zodiac piece too! Please do a “all your finishes” video soon, can’t wait to see. Also, thank you for all the floss tube mentions, it will be nice to view new ones. Have great fun with your girlfriend and God bless!
You really have an incredible channel, your voice, your friendliness, your work is adorable. I'm also 40 years old and I recently discovered Mirabilia. I love how you present your work and how nice it is to watch your videos. I'd be there all day. I send you a hug. huge from Spain 🤗🤗🤗

I am so happy and have been on cloud nine this whole week! I truly appreciate it and can't thank you enough. As always, I loved your video. Can't wait for the next one.
Love your videos! I just found your channel. I’ve done several Teresa Wentzler patterns and she’s amazing. Be prepared for a lot of thread mixing. I’m always happy to find another Canadian Flosstuber.
Hello Kathleen, Thank you so much for watching! I’m wanting to start my Wentzler pattern very soon and I’m up for the challenge! I hope you will come back again soon. Take care, -Samantha 🦋

Thanks for the Canadian flosstuber suggestions. I checked out Stitching Social, Allison and Jennifer, and realized I sat at the table next to them at the StitchNorth retreat in April, Toronto, Ontario.
Thank you for the kind shout-out, Samantha! I really l enjoy your videos and cheerful presentation! You always make me smile! 😃 It's always fun to find a fellow bead-enthuisast. I like the idea of using the glow-in-the-dark beads and floss. I used some recently as stars on the sky on a Merjeka Visit Venice piece but keep forgetting to check them in the dark to see if they really do glow. Beautiful work! Thanks again! --Deb
I was glad to see an update update on your Luna. Looking good!!! I am in the final stages with mine - just need to finish adding the beads to the wings. I fell in love with TW designs years ago and bought several of her charts but since I am still trying to finish Peacock Tapestry which I started over 10 years ago I have since destashed most of them. Her designs are beautiful but not for me.
Good morning Samantha, you are effervescent! I love your excitement! It always makes me happy!! Those floss holders are so cute. They remind me of my mom and grandmother, a grandma with a shawl around her shoulders. I think the 12 project bags is a great idea!

So nice to see the closeups at the beginning and end! I did one Theresa Wentzler and it was so beautiful when it was finished…well worth the effort. Thanks for sharing the new floss-tubers…especially great to hear about Canadian stitchers. You are doing great on all your pieces and having fun with them too. :) Look forward to see your finished projects soon and hope you have a great visit with your friend.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and for watching my channel !! I have uploaded episode # 6 that I hope you will enjoy!! Take care -Samantha 🦋
Hi Samantha! The Ink Circle ghost pattern is so cute! I think it's a very good idea to stitch it on black with the glow in the dark thread! I can't wait to see your start, hope you'll start it soon (no pressure...😉). I've been watching Maggi (KitschyWips) as well and seeing all the Mirabilia's makes me want to start one too. I've been browsing a bit on the internet but there are so many to choose from! Have a great weekend!🌷 Joanita
You are so welcome Kris. I'm excited to share with you my new video tomorrow as I share my latest update on Emerald City. Thank you so much for watching :)!!
All caught up! I have a skein of Sable for a Nora Corbett I did last year called Evanora. It’s beautiful and that silk…😍. Love the Owl Forest Patchwork Calendar chart. You have great project, Samantha. Looking forward to your future updates. You might enjoy a new channel called Linen and Scraps with Molly and Kathy. Only 2 videos out so far.
Hello Kay! Thank you so much for going back and watching all my episodes!! I pour my heart and soul into each one and it makes my heart happy to hear others are enjoying them!! I’m off to go check out the flosstubers mentioned. Thank you again - Samantha 🦋
I love, love your channel! Always excited to see you. Isn't Amber the sweetest? I watch her channel too, and she seems like such a sweetheart! Happy stitching!
Hi Kristy !! I have seen that pattern and it looks like great fun!! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my channel and for leaving me a comment! I do hope you return again for my finish parade in a few short weeks. Xxx Happy Stitching xxX
Hiiiii Samantha! I have to comment as I'm watching so I don't forget! You're absolutely welcome for the Wizard of Oz needle minders! Seeing them on your Ermerald City wip is a special treat!!! 🤩 They're adorable and highlight your beautiful work! Love that you did beading for the mice eyes and noses. 🐀🐀 Perfect! Love that Zodiac piece: the colors of design , that gorgeous floss array (when you held it up , I gasped!), the perfect galaxy fabric. Just everything is so vibrant and fun, yet rich and dark. Great combo.
My current project is a Teresa Wentzler pattern! My dad inherited the stash of a friend of his who unfortunately can't stitch anymore, and 2 copies of the best of Teresa Wentzler fantasy collection! I'm stitching the castle sampler and having a great time! I recommend her patterns, they are gorgeous
Ooohhh I can imagine they are a great joy to stitch !! I can’t wait to get mine started, I’m working on getting all the floss together! I hope you will return again soon and visit with me again. Until then Happy Stitching 🧵 🪡 - Samantha 🦋
Pretty patterns. I love your idea for the Ink Circles ghost pattern. The glow in the dark in the dark floss and beads is so unique. I enjoy listening to you talk about all your patterns. You have something exciting to say about each one. I like how you think your finished work is a journal. I agree. I think about a lot of things when I stitch and there are life memories with each pattern. It would be cool to somehow display all your finished pieces in a large boook of some sort.
You are an absolute angel and I love youuuuuuuuuu! LOVE the Wentzler you picked, and yay for #wentzlerweekend !!!!!!!! Your wips are awesome, love the fabrics you’ve chosen and Mooka!! I’ve got her but need a huge piece of fabric. 😂
Thank you so much Maggie!! I’m getting all the thread kitted up for a wentzer weekend start! I couldn’t be more excited about it!! Happy stitching friend xxxx hugs xxxx
Love your videos! And looking forward to seeing the glow in the dark project! Was wondering how easy the thread is to stitch with - whether like metallic and best to use some thread magic? Also - can’t wait to see your finish parade - fab idea! Jess
Hello Jes, Thank you so much for watching!! I think I’m going to try out 3 strands for extra coverage and a bolder glow! I will let you know how it goes.
I was so excited to see you had a new floss tube up. I love your channel. I am so inspired by you and your projects. I love them. It was so crazy that you showed your mermaids. I have Azure by Nora Corbett in my cart at 123 stitch. My daughter loves anything nautical and loves mermaids. I am scared to try though. Have not stitched a lot on linen 😳 but I so want to try. I think you’ve inspired me to do so. What needle do I use for beading if you don’t mind me asking. I will place this order and hopefully get her started. She’s not as big as your beautiful mermaids so maybe could be doable for me. ❤️
Hello Dawn! Thank you so much for watching and I’m thrilled you are enjoying my channel. Jump in you won’t regret it and Grab yourself a size 10 beading needle 🪡!!
Argh, I think my comment was eaten. I love your projects, especially the Miras and Noras, and Emerald City. I was making great progress on that one until I realized I’d completely misplaced the flying monkey and had to frog the whole section. You’ve inspired me to maybe pick it up again. I think you’ll love the Wentzler-they are a very different stitching experience from almost anything else but you just accept you’ll be changing threads all the time and learn to celebrate when you get more than 3 in a row of the same color. ;)
Hi Mary ! Thank you so very much for your comment as I enjoyed reading it! I hope you will return for another visit soon and catch episode #6 as I think you will LOVE IT!! Take care -Samantha 🦋
Hello, thank you for sharing and your pieces are so beautiful. I would like to stitch a mirabilia but I admit I’m scared, that fact that you have done so many inspires me. Is there anything that I should look out for or need before I attempt one? Looking forward to your next flosstube
Hi Susan, Thank you so much for watching and for leaving a comment!! I would say start with a smaller design from Nora Corbett and you’ll have a finish in a few months! After that go for a Mirabilia that sparks the most excitement to you and you will be having the BEST time stitching it!!
Lovely show. I can't believe I missed one....lol. Also love all the recommendations on the Flosstubers. I will check them out. I did not know that there are glow in the dark beads....looking forward to seeing your progress on the ink circles ghosts....how exciting. Oh but some of the Mira/Nora's use bugle beads so keep your eye on those as well. Love the Mermaid....so gorgeous....makes me want to stop watching and stitching instead. Oh and could you please tell me what magnifying lamp you use? I bought one from Amazon and was VERY disappointed....had to throw out the bottom part and just used the top part and put it in an old Ikea base. Thanks for all the info. You know, your videos are time journals for your daughters as well.....love it....oh and ow you have said that...lol.
Samantha always a fun time watching you and seeing your projects. What type of light do you use and magnification? I wanted to purchase a lamp and trying to get suggestions. Thank you.

You have something exciting to say about each one. I like how you think your finished work is a journal. I agree. I think about a lot of things when I stitch and there are life memories with each pattern. It would be cool to somehow display all your finished pieces in a large boook of some sort.
Hi Christy!! Thank you so much for your comment!! It truly made my day!! -Samantha 🦋
@@HyggeStitcher You're welcome.
Hi Samantha, I have that Wentzler pattern in my stash - somewhere!!
Hi Nicole, Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment!!
Your mermaid looks amazing!🤗
Thank you so much!!
I love that reindeer! So cute! x
Thank you so much Susanne !
❤️❤️❤️
Lovely video!

Thank you so much for watching !! 🦋 - Samantha
Awesome thank you
Awesome thank you
Lovely show.
💜☮️
Thanks for watching Allison!
Samantha always a fun time watching you and seeing your projects.
What type of light do you use and magnification? I wanted to purchase a lamp and trying to get suggestions.
Thank you.
Thank you so much Barbara! I purchased the surelight floor stand a few months ago and I love it!!

There are so many models.
It’s hard to choose so I really like to get opinions. I need a lamp.
Thank you
Would you please tell us about your love picture hanging behind you?
Fire sure I can talk about it in my finish parade coming very soon! Thank you so much for watching!! Take care , -Samantha 🦋
