Film: Dance First with Gabriel Byrne as Samuel Beckett | Oengus MacNamara on Portobello Radio

In advance of the forthcoming film screening of “Dance First” about the life of the great writer Samuel Beckett, (here at the ICC Sunday May 12th), Irish actor Oengus MacNamara, a member of the famous “Godot Theatre Company” talks to Piers Thompson about the craft of performing Beckett’s plays. He also previews the film and shares his memories of John Calder, Beckett’s close friend and publisher. This film was captured by Sé Merry Doyle when Oengus was a guest on the recent episode of the radio show ‘Bright Side Of The Road”, which is broadcast on Portobello Radio.
