Hi folks, I’m in New England and I have on your sites Including your web site. Your information is exceptional. The E Bike revolution is exploding I was talking rather be lectured on E Bikes unfortunately is was extremely rude and his knowledge was lacking. We where talking about Bike helmets. I explained that if one goes over 15 mph it’s prudent to protect one’s brain with a helmet designed for that. He informed me I was wrong and proceeded to wipe out. Oh for me to be a lowly engineer and him to be a doctor. He had a number of scrapes and a ton of bruises. My question is could you folks please recommend a company or company’s his wife asked. I said I no just the people. Thanks so much Ron I
@ronpatrick6058 Thank you for thinking of us! Yes Ebikes are exploding and getting more people out there for sure, which is great. Like you, we hope people are being safe and responsible on the roads. Some helmets are definitely safer than others, and all helmets should be replaced after 5 years as the foam hardens. One of our go to helmets is the Abus Pedelec 2.0. here is our review (www.electricbikejournal.com/abus-pedelec-2-0-mips-helmet-review/). It is NTA 8776 rated, which is "ebike" rated for a bit higher speed than normal analog bikes. Hope this helps!
@@ElectricBikeJournal Thanks so much you can get on a lot of sites and they all carry the one the only helmet. One big caveat is you only have one brain . You information is greatly appreciated. I will pass it on to the folks who need the information. I have been on your site for quite awhile and I have shared the one with the giveaway to a lot of people. Maybe this time I might get lucky. Never have won anything but no complaints. Life’s great. Thanks Loads…
@@ElectricBikeJournal Guys, Thanks for the very specific information on the Abus Pedelec 2.0 E Bike helmet with the 8776 rating. The Doc’s wife who wiped out got online and ordered one for one very arrogant Doctor. She’s very grateful for the information you folks provided. My wife saw me reading about the helmet and said you have a bike helmet. I told her that with the new faster bikes and E bikes and that after 5 years regardless of how fast one goes. The plastic in the helmet degrades and they aren’t safe. Maybe for your birthday we live in New England and it’s cold. She sees me looking at E bikes but that’s another story. Thanks..
Another great review, but one thing I couldn’t get clear info is how far away/rooms between the hitch and tray when it’s folded. Reason why I asked is mine hitch is aftermarket on my Jeep GC the hitch is like 2” tuck in away from bumper and I’m concerning the bike tray will have contact with my bumper when it’s folded.
