    RUclips: You really want to learn to grow mushrooms.
    Me: Yes, this interests me.

    Really interesting. Do you think you can just keep perpetually cloning? So no more spores needed.

      @90 Second Mycology I heard you could transfer up to 4 times? What do you think? Thanks for your comments!

      @90 Second Mycology you’re just talking via transfer right?

      @@BoomerShroomer Does that rule apply to liquid culture? What's then the difference between cloning and liquid culture? Aren't you doing sort of the same thing but instead of agar water is used?

    Thanks for yet another gem of a video Ashley! The one information I'm having trouble finding is what temperature I should keep my inoculated plates at for incubation... and does that temp change whether I've done agar2agar, grain2agar, spore2agar or clone2agar?

    Question: when cloning a mushroom from a grow, do you need to sanitize the outside of it? I got cobweb mold on my agar plate I put my clone on, and I was thinking it came from the outside of the mushroom.

      Take the culture from inside the mushroom so its the most sterile.

    I like your content, and your voice is nice to listen to, but it's hard to hear what you're saying. I hope you get a better microphone soon.

      Yes, you can clone them pretty much anytime.

    Cool video. Excuse me for my ignorance but wouldn't you want to clone a bigger fruit for it's genetics of being big fruit or why did you choose to clone such a small fruit?

    • @BoomerShroomer
      @BoomerShroomer  3 года назад +1

      Someone asked me to clone it on Instagram. You can choose the best mushroom to clone for better genetics.

    I would try not to put my fingers on the agar, or on the tissue being cloned. Otherwise, it looks great! Did you grow out a culture from this? What were the results?

    • @BoomerShroomer
      @BoomerShroomer  3 года назад +4

      I should have definitely use gloved. Yes I did! They results were great. Every time I grow out on agar I always get better flushes.

    kinda amazing that the mushroom kept growing on agar after the transfer.
