Fun fact: The Peach Luigi cosplay may have been inspired by Super Mario Adventures, where Peach temporarily wears Luigi's outfit after Luigi took hers to disguise as Peach.

Fun fact: Peach wearing Luigi’s clothes is canon. In the Nintendo Power magazine, a comic series called Super Mario Adventures was put in the magazines for a while. Luigi takes Peach’s dress and uses it to trick the Koopa kids into thinking he was Peach. Luigi was just stalling for time until Peach, Yoshi, and Toad saved Mario from the Koopa kids via a pizza delivery yoshi. (I couldn’t make this up if I wanted to)

The horrifying thing is... they actually do make plushies of Pikachu cosplaying as other pokemon and they look very close to that. Like he's wearing their skin.

Luigi Peach reminds me of the classic "Super Mario Adventures" comic series.
You know, Peach in Luigi’s clothes actually happened. Back in the days of Nintendo Power, there was an issue of Super Mario Adventures where Peach wakes up from a nightmare involving marrying Bowser (Foreshadowing to Odyssey and the movie perhaps?) she rushes off to save Mario (who was grabbed by the Koopalings last time on SMA 😅) and finds herself in... GREEN?!
I’m probably not the only one with this thought, though.
