Blangkon used to be a cloth to cover the head, the egg-shaped one used to be a hair roll, because the Javanese used to like to lengthen their hair.
it's called mondholan. it's used to be hair roll. but there is also a philosophical meaning that mondholan about how Javanese people always keep their secret and the symbol of Javanese wisdom
