Usually when i hear a good performer i say wow but when i hear Dimash i say how, the guy is simply amazing, if you have time please check the link i'm about to put in here and let me know if you see any resemblance in the melody(play from 0:20):ruclips.net/video/PJjZM5zFGuA/видео.html
Yes! You are right. There are a few notes that are the same.😅. There are only so many notes in the world. They can't all be avoided. This is how it is with modern songs.
I believe 3 notes are similar but the entire melody is very different. So as someone said below, many songs will occasionally have a few notes that are the same by coincidence since that is unavoidable. Totally different vibe.
👉 Wow, this is Popera at its best!!! “Dimash Qudaibergen has repeatedly said that music has no borders, nationalities and distances.” (DimashNews) How can you not fall in love with Dimash when he is a bad boy, of course without socks, in (devilish) red and with sensual movements that make the girls dance for him like on strings (like in the performance video) ... and that voice! It gets into you and you become addicted and just want more Dimash. Even evil gangsters forget everything when listening to Agent DQ's “siren song” and just want to dance. (Official Music Video) The song premiere took place on December 23, 2023 at Dimash's STRANGER concert in Hong Kong. * Smoke - ruclips.net/video/2gzCOkbcc64/видео.html (fan video at concert) * Smoke - ruclips.net/video/3Ub_3OI2eII/видео.html (performance video) * Smoke - ruclips.net/video/8AgDoOjBeoc/видео.html(official Music Video) Excerpts from the DimashNews (DN) interview with music producer Dmytro Gordon (DG): DN: Dmytro, for 8 years you have been working alongside Walter Afanasieff in his company WallyWorld as a lead orchestrator and arranger, and you both have also written music for films. What are the similarities and differences between producing music for renowned artists in the US and working with Dimash? DG: „I would say that Dimash is much more open to experimentation than any other artist I have had the pleasure of working with so far. When it comes to an established artist with an existing fan base, they and their label are usually very cautious about trying new styles, new vocal techniques or anything that might confuse or alienate their core audience. And that makes sense, but the catch is that after a while their repertoire stagnates. Dimash is the bravest artist I know to date: he deeply respects and cares about his dears, but he's not afraid to try new things, which he proves time and time again, including his latest releases. On a personal level, our collaboration has also evolved into a friendship, for which I'm forever grateful. It's much more authentic and fun to make music as friends, rather than just as collaborators. Ask the Beatles. SMOKE... is completely modern, even experimental in certain aspects. Yes, it has an operatic vocalise in the choruses, but the context in which we hear it makes it impossible to pigeonhole it into a genre. It's also minimalist and open when it comes to the vocal melodies, harmonic content and instrumental textures (though it's not easy, and Dimash's unique vocal skills still shine through). Every musical decision in Smoke is super precise: take one thing away, and the song falls apart. Add another element - and it becomes oversaturated. That's how I would describe it. ... It's such a joy and an incredible privilege to work with Dimash, who I truly consider to be one of the best musicians in human history. And then to receive all the love and gratitude from his fan base just feels heavenly. I'm so grateful to everyone who supported these new releases and who took the risk with us to open their hearts and ears to the new, unknown sides of Dimash. As for the new works - I don't want to spoil any surprises yet. ❗He's been in film school in LA for months and I can see his creative stamp all over this ! Thanks for showcasing this Renaissance Man. Still writing his PhD thesis and running his successful production company long distance. He just turned 30. I made a pie yesterday 🤣
He did not take up that scholarship . Why do you say he’s been at the LA film school for months? He’s been backwards and forwards to China and KZ performing.
@@user-Kiwi49I say it because his Mother said it privately, and his favorite teacher said it in a tv interview. The public makes the assumption that the things they see regarding him are filmed at the time. Very often they aren't and are skillfully edited. I grew up in Kazakhstan, he'd be seen locally, or in university and things seen in media around the world at the same time, people naturally assuming he was where they thought he was in the media representation. We live in sophisticated tech times, he does a concert, leaves it and hops a private plane for another destination, criss crossing the globe, filmed one place, in another in a matter of hours, something else looks like it was shot that day wherever and he's been gone for days. He's in and out of LA, concerts and meetings carefully scheduled around his studies and running the production company long distance. He's a successful businessman and global entertainer in an advanced film program for professionals, not a 20,21 year old on campus.
@@user-Kiwi49! say it because his Mother said it in private, his favorite teacher said it in a tv interview and half of Kazakhstan knows. It's done by professionals every day. My husband , not in the entertainment industry does the same thing having global obligations. Also, never assume something is filmed when you think it is, often done months in advance and in the can for future release along with interviews and media coverage or skillfully edited to coincide with other things. We live in a high tech world. It is rare for world class entertainers to work consecutively in time unless it's a band on tour. It doesn't work that way, scheduling, media and venue wise. I lived in Kazakhstan, my family still does. I'd see him publicly on the street there and and if you went by media and print, it would appear he was somewhere else at the same time. His attendance in the program, along with his entire schedule was done a year or more in advance, all the above, reasons for his not doing extended "tours". He has a lot of different professional and personal irons in the fire at all times.

Yes, some similarity...
Yes, a few tones resemble Dimash's song, & I also really like that tune by the way!

Thank you all for actually checking!
