To me this is the band's most inspired era with the best songs and melodies. You can definetely hear the modern metalcore bands trying to create melodies like early In Flames.
@@AC-ws9lj I mean they still play some songs on The Jester Race live nowadays, although only 2 members of the band from that time are in the band right now.
God, Anders is a baby here. You can hear how raw his voice is lmao, he hadn't even come into his signature screaming style yet. I always scream "Play December Flower!" when I see them live but I've not been successful yet in getting them to play it 😂
Acabo de cumplir 29 años, la era de in flames con su melódico sueco inconfundible de antaño me hace pensar como DIABLOS no tocaron el solo magestuoso de esta canción en este en vivo y la reputa madre! Hasta que sea viejo lleno de canas seguiré pensando en porqué no lo hicieron fuck D;
on the studio version they had 3 guitar tracks at the solo part, but they have only two guitarists so it would have sounded like shit if they played the solo...
@MrCatFetish i agree with u it was the first album with the core thing on it but it was also a rly nc album imo... i think they should have changed name after that they have nice songs on new albums but these songs aint melo death or gothenburg metal or however they wanted to be called..
But they redeemed themselves with their best albums, Reroute To Remain and Soundtrack to your escape. I know you don't agree, but idgaf. They changed for the better.

Its funny cause is almost like nowadays in flames is trying to emulate the sound of metalcore bands who try to emulate old in flames sound
Its true a lot of metalcore bands are highly influenced by in flames , at the gates, and soilwork.
@@rsaldivar8 This is why I actually like metalcore. I know it's one of the most frowned upon genres but I came to like it eventually.
Nothing wrong with metalcore, if you like the gothenburg sound then it's easy to like
Nothing wrong with metal core but somethings wrong with hardcore 😬
Damn, the voice of In Flames losing his breath
Best song on the album, I wish they would play this song live nowadays.
The band doesn’t exist anymore.
@@AC-ws9lj I mean they still play some songs on The Jester Race live nowadays, although only 2 members of the band from that time are in the band right now.
@@AC-ws9lj agreed. They’ve been strayed away from this. Sucks
They played this in Dahalla today... Last night... Chris Broderick nailed the solo🔥🔥🔥💪🏻💪🏻
@@geniallyrealmajaw378 Holy shit thats fucking amazing!!!! Hopefully they bring it back more!

they played it. finally...
Aaand they played it on August 2023.
I was there with my father....my first live and trip direct from Greece to Germany....Best experience ever
that was 96, just 2 years after youthanasia and others significant thrash metal albums, is this kind of stuff accepted in that times?
In Flames renoved live performance in 2023
2023 doesn't sound very good🤨
Best song from their Best Album 1996... Too bad they've changed so much. Good times, those...
on the drums: björn gelotte!!
Fuck yeah. The guitar is perfect. So fucking good.
Wheres the facerip of a guitar solo?

@@luminairaenzopereira8145 la tocaron ayer, después de 27 años! ruclips.net/video/2hVgOGeKx38/видео.html solo incluído
@@luminairaenzopereira8145Jesper never played the lead. It was Fredrik Johansson from Dimension Zero.
WUAAU a lot of memories comes to my mind with this song... Excellent!!
90's metal fans are the true metal fans
haha
In Flames we trust
Nevada
Powerful and awesome song!
Amazing song!
lol, no one seems to know that they had a guest guitarist ( Fredrik Johansson ) who played the december flower solo.
1:17 💥
Köln for win!!!
In flames rules and ruled and will rule next years, even if the singer changed
@inflamesmetalll Something tells me it's more than just that. Did you know that In Flames didn't record that solo? they had a guest guitarist.
That solo is sick! I can rewind and listen to it over and over
Fredrik Johansson from Dimension Zero.
R.I.P Fredrik Johansson
Wrong Fredrik Johansson.
This was performed by Fredrik Johansson from Dimension Zero.
Ive seen the solo attributed to both guys on different videos. Given Jespers ties to DZ, it makes more sense that it would be that one.
@@RobbieFitzgerald he was also in All Ends with Bjorn and Emma Gelotte.
Inflames core!
he sounds so much at the gates singer!! fucking AWESOME \,,/
Thats true
aparte de este concierto .. cual ha sido el otro donde han tocado este tema ?? saludos desde venezuela
ayer después de 27 años ruclips.net/video/2hVgOGeKx38/видео.html
vocals are like shriek of DSBM
somethin strange with his voice
When will people realize that everyone has their own opinion on things..?
Alife when?
@MIGUELBO Nah, Moonshield and Artifacts of the Black Rain are as good as December Flower..;P

is not like it sounds any better skipping the solo, which is literally the main part of that whole passage lol
No one in the band could play the lead section.

Because it was a guest solo on the album so they'd need a third guitarist D=
@sic9 1990 - 2000. Clayman IMO was their first album to go downhill from.

This sucks without the guitar solo
Bless you or not...have charity

@Gurgum666 Lol, he does!
You know what fucked this band? NOTHING!
did you know....a nders suffers terrible pain? its always death trying to control the guy....just saying....
