I have to say this. I bought a HD from SRK and out of no where I ended up with major back surgery, almost 8 months ago and still recovering. Needless to say he is a man of his word. The bike ended up needing a bunch of work that we had no idea it needed and I was in no shape to ride. He bought the bike back with no issues. Hopefully he will be back up and running when I’m up and running. Yes I would do business with him again! 100%
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make that situation right
I totally agree with you. I too was involved in a hit-and-run on my Harley Davidson Road glide and ended up having two back surgeries. It was a hit-and-run and they could not find the person who did it I ended up paying for all of the procedures out of pocket. I ended up having to sell my motorcycle back to the dealership where I bought it and lost a ton of money. If Sean decides not to make any more videos I am 100% behind him because he is an amazing young man. Thank you for your comment !!!!
@@richardhopkins9493 why wouldn't he make videos anymore? It's obviously just a business change. Might start selling other things, or overall just become a business for his youtube page, since it's became so successful.
Did u guys not watch the very end where Sean said it’s done….. initiate 2.O
@@ProjectDamo No where did I say he was not going to make any videos anymore. I simply said it whatever he decides to do I am 100% with him. Please read the full comments before replying.
Not even Harley Davidson would buy back a bike after 11,000 miles. That says a lot about your good character. We need more people like you in this world!
Harley wouldn't even fix my TC88 at 15,000 miles when the engine blew because of their plastic cam tensioner design flaw. And by that time it was a know issue got them. Harley sucks. Sean is great.
I am sure they would fix it for a nominal fee.
@@1SnarfyDude if it was a known issue why did you keep riding it until it blew up? Take some responsibility for your own ignorance.
Harley should have been forced to recall those crap TC88 engines with the cam chain tensioner issue. It wasn’t even listed as a maintenance item so they weren’t checked early. 💩💩💩💩
@@rgh622 He may not have even known about it till it happens. Most people buy something and when it breaks search up to see if they have a problem and find out it is super common. Happens in every industry, i'm big into building PC's, and some times a common problem isn't common till a few months after release when every early adopters start to fail that way.
I truly hate to hear this, but a business decision had to be made.
Just know that you, as a person, made an impact on many people. I thank you for your videos and want you to know that watching them and seeing the amount of fun that you and your crew had, gave me the push I needed to finally throw a leg over a bike and feel that free wind. Thank you.

Being an honest man isn't easy in life. Good work Sean
And doing used vehicle business with an honest man is the exception, not the rule.

Last year I bought a Goldwing from SRK Cycles, and there was a slight issue with the key fob not working, even if they hadn't replaced it at no cost to me, I love the bike, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from you guys again. Can't wait for you guys to get up and running again and I'll absolutely be buying my future bikes from you.
Shit, I'm sorry to hear this, man. When I was in the process of finding a new bike, I found this channel and your video's and test rides helped a lot. After I got my new bike (not from you, since I live on the other side of the planet), I just stuck around for the fun video's.
Good luck, man. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and I hope the next incarnation will be a smashing success. Got any other children who's initials you could use?
These are strange times. But the weird thing is, here on the other side of this beautiful globe, motorcycle businesses are thriving due to the pandemic, since it's now the better and healthier way of transportation, or having a good time with friends. I'm sorry it didn't work out that way for you.
Thank you being a fantastic role model for business owners, men & fathers. We appreciate all you do Sean
You’re an example of how businesses should run! Your commitment to ycustomers combined with your faith should be a blueprint for any owner. Not to mention some of the best videos on RUclips! Good luck and God Bless 2.0!
One can easily appreciate the ethics involved, but taken to this extreme is an
untenable business model.
As an Electrical Contractor, I completely understand the learning curve. It takes a lot of time to train someone.
God is great brother, I look forward to seeing more uploads.
Till this day no other salesman has prayed with me after making a purchase. My goal was to buy another from you all. I can't wait to see what God has in store for you next.
I would love to have bought a motorbike from someone just once who is this genuinely real who actually cares about you and that you're happy about what you bought. Good job Sean.
You've been guiding my purchases and wants for years. I can't express how sad this leaves me. I wish I were still young enough to ask you for a job so that I could be on the ground floor of a new venture. I wish you all the best.
As Churchill once said: Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. ...

Awesome quote!! I'm convinced that Churchill HAD to have been a super wise 5th dimensional being! LOL!
I've been watching this channel, since I recognized 283 on one of the test rides a few years back. Shopping my first bike, came here to seek some wisdom on a bike my heart landed on. This makes me sad. I wish the best with all you folks do in the future. I will stay tuned and continue to lift you up in prayer.
You have finally realised RUclips is more lucrative than selling bikes.
You're literally one of the very first channels I found that made me confident that I could ride and really helped me understand what I should start with and lookout for.... the respect you show every customer and honesty you've always shown has always made me want to one day buy a bike from you. I pray for you, your family, and your business. You'll be back on your feet in no time. Can't wait to see it.
Watched till the end. So sorry about this, but don’t forget that there are many people out here who love your work, your scripture quotes, and who admire and respect your vision. Stay great
I’m looking forward to seeing what you get into next. Buying my m109r from you and Caleb back at the beginning of the pandemic was definitely a fantastic experience and I would recommend you guys to anyone I know. Best of luck on 2.0 brother…

Im really sorry this happened u really do a good job with telling about each different bike and giving an honest opinion about it. It helps people decide what they want or maybe what best fits or suits the individual. I’ve watched many of your videos.
God’s times are perfect.
I am taking the basic rider course this upcoming Feb 7-9 and I ran into your videos about beginner bikes/test drives/tips/etc. What caught my eye was that you read scripture in one of your motorcycle test drives and in this past few days I have grown more excited about starting my motorcycle journey and I believe God will help you in yours. Stay strong brother
I love the scripture reading in his videos which is why I subscribed. I hope the best for him and the next time I travel for work though Lancaster, PA, i’m definitely going to look him up and stop by!
Im not a bible quoting christian or an american, but something about SRK always appealed to me. Love to see you guys back in whatever form 2.0 appears. Good luck with it and to all who worked at SRK!
Yeah I'm not american either, and an atheist to boot, but Sean's politics and bible-quoting never bothered me or stopped me from watching the channel; he seems a really respectful guy. Otherwise I'd felt as he had been pushing an agenda, which he clearly did not.
Look, a person that follows the lord doesn't have to offend you and ruffle your feathers so bad. If you were truly as enlightened as you believe you would not be bothered by someone's beliefs but instead understand it because you have no way of knowing whether or not there is a God so choosing to say you definitively know there isn't is simply a sign of low intelligence and not a sign of enlightenment as you proclaim.
When I got back into riding after 32 years, your’s were the first videos I started watching because of your knowledge and faith in Christ. God will guide you. Keep the faith. Rebrand and keep moving forward.
Amen
For the live of God, 32 years, yikes. 10 year break from riding mc for me. 10 years too many.
Sean, first off, great video. Secondly, just want to thank you for getting me back into riding. Sold my old bike a few years ago and assumed I'd never ride again. Stumbled across a video of yours on RUclips and it sparked my desire to ride again. Long story short, figured out what kind of rider I wanted to be, and found the bike that fit that. You helped a lot. Thanks again Sean,,and good luck.
Your dedication, fun approach to life, your honesty about sales, your enthusiasm, it was all a great way to learn more about motorcycles and business. I watched your channel while I went through hard times, while people in my life slowly turned their back on me. Your investment into yourself and those you love was a great example for a future that someone can build if they put their mind to it. I now own a motorcycle and ride around with my dad, something I know is worth more than any amount of money.
We know the real reason! Shawn is on his way to become the biggest importer of sporty Lifan motorcycles :D
I hope that is not true.
From every loss there's always a win that only makes you better. YOU GOT THIS BRO!!!
I gotta tell you I was a little surprised to find this sad item in my feed. I half expected it to turn out to be some clickbaity nonsense, but sadly it seems not. Most vehicle dealerships could only dream of having the level of customer satisfaction, engagement and loyalty your shop enjoys (still). So I do hope ver. 2.0 gets some good wind in its sails. You deserve it.
I've never had a motorcycle, but every since i had the idea of getting one, i wanted to buy one from you guys. You seemed to be a great business man and stayed true to yourself and you religion.
Do it brother! Nothing else like it. Best thing other than heroin and fortunately motorcycles are alot safer. They get you HIGH on life like nothing else can. I hope you do it.

Dude i feel you. I bought my first business at 29 years old, that was 16 years ago, in those 16 years my body has aged about 35 years from the stress. Today i get to enjoy the fruits of my hard work, sleepless night, 3 relationships about 50 different employees, employees stealing from me, not showing up for work cause their cat had a liter. Lots of jealousy out there because of the toys i now own and I often get the comment, “ you are lucky you bought a little gold mine” 🙄 i worked for 12 years before i took my first full week vacation. At 29 i owed 1.4m to the banks. My answer to the gold mine remark” ill sell you my gold mine right now” money isn’t everything” rock on bro and I wish you all the success you deserve

This brought back some very unpleasant memories for me. I really hate to see this happen to anyone. Lately I am telling people to become an electrician. You just get a $50 trainee card with the state. Then you begin working immediately and in 4 years you make $40 an hour base pay, plus $20 in insurance benefits, for about $60 an hour overall wages. Or you can be a "pipe fitter" and it's less dangerous, but you have to work with water pipes and welding and soldering and brazing. Or you can be a low voltage electrician which is easier, but pays a bit less, and it's a great career too. The trades give you a permanent career, after 4 years you get a license, and you can work anywhere.

Ok, so I saw one comment that really hit the mark with me, from Moto Mike. Essentially it said that these things happen and that you are a great ambassador for the business and an incredible guy.
So, here's the thing. Moto Mike had it right! Spot on! ... You have a way of talking and relating to things which is very rare. I truly (and many-many others) love your critiques and reviews and your approach to sharing the good and bad of a motorcycle.
Business is really tough. You already know what went wrong and you know what to do or, you know how to fix it. You probably don't want to be as tough as you have to be but, that's what you'll have to do! You are truly a great ambassador for the business. Just do it!
I, like Moto Mike, will continue watching wherever you end up.
Meanwhile, I need a good used Goldwing. Got anything?
QUESTION: How do I get the best deal when wanting to buy a used Versys 300? Look on auto trader / bike trader, or look on eBay, or go to a dealer, or Craig's list.... how can I find the bike that I want at low price and in good condition and in a way that I am not concerned about getting ripped off, hidden damage / mechanical problems? I know that people have bought this bike new... out the door $5k total.... so if the bike is say 2019 making it 4 years old, what price range would be considered a good deal for me to buy it used? People always ask a lot, but what is a real used selling price for a Versys 300 that is $5k new and now is 4 years old, with average Miles of usage?? Please... any assistance is appreciated. THANKS

I never bought a bike from you, but I enjoy your ch. I found your ch. while I was looking for a older bike. I ended up buying a 82 Suzuki GS 750, I'm more than Happy with it....Quick enough, Fast enough, & Smooooth.....I wish you the Best
I feel you in the hiring part. I have spent months training managers the way I want them just for them to quit within 6 months of hiring. It's very disappointing.
Also the lady with the 11,000 mile Harley. I would have never bought it back. Maybe with it discounted enough where I can fix it and resell. Alot can happen in 11,000 miles and if it made it that far out if my hands then it was a good deal. She probably never changed the oil or drove the crap of of it.
You shut down your whole business because 2 salesmen moved on? Did I hear that correctly?
I had to sell my trucking company back in march hurts but it’s definitely a learning experience. God bless. Greater things are coming.
Srk got me into motorcycles. A few month later got my first bike from one of your videos (C90). Thanks 4 that and god bless you.
I believe your channel blewup. And the fact that some of your help left gave you a good excuse to get rid of overhead and just sell content. Yeah maybe a bike here and there but mainly content. Cheers
Well, I am just finding out about your operation. I am playing catch-up now, trying to watch all of your videos (really enjoying the WLA project). @Bikes and Beards
Being a man of his word is very important. If a man has no word, he has nothing. Keep on that path, Sean.
I do not need to wish you luck, because people like you will SURELY succeed!
I am loving the good craic in the shop. That has a big impact on your path to success.
Once I am back in the States, I will pay you a visit. If I may, of course.
Cheers!
Ricardo
Used bikes are a gamble and sold as is, just like used cars. If someone puts 11,000 miles on their bike and it has a failure its not your fault and you should not buy it back. You can’t sustain business like that. You offer your customers a warranty and if they turn it down let them know the bike is as is. Encourage them to have an independent mechanic check it out.
Nice honest video.. I opened a BMW repair shop on the side part time. I had it for 2 years. It did really well. I was on Nexdoor and was always 3 weeks out. It actually affected my main job. Everyone told me my prices were really good. I would not charge for diagnosing their car if it took 1 hr. It was up to me to find other things wrong with the car to make more money. I realized I was doing it more for the fun not the money as much. I thought about opening my own shop up. But I had to be honest. I could not nickel and dime everyone like most auto repair shops. I would even pick up and deliver within a 2 mile range. I have a lot of friends who own businesses and live and breath them. I am happy at 47. I go to work as a mechanic and come home to my wife and kids. I work some overtime. But I am not about work anymore..
Work to live, not live to work. Found that after probably 20 into my own business..
I just recently started watching your videos. I hope you bounce back stronger than before. Will continue to watch and enjoy the content.
I wish I got to enjoy all these videos when they were new. Such a good group of people and the videos are just awesome and so relatable. Hope all is well.
I've never ridden a real motorcycle but my brother use to ride me on his all the time when I was a child. Anyway, I've learned so much watching your channel. I was even planning a trip to SRK since I don't live far from you. I miss your videos so much!!! I hope to buy my first bike from you one day.
Take care guys and thank you!
Little Brother, I had an electronics and appliance repair shop. My Dad went downhill swiftly. I couldn't keep the shop and see to it that he got to appointments. So I shut the shop down then when Dad died I joined the American Legion Riders and the Patriot Guard and looked after our dead vets. God will come and get you started on something again.
i'm new to the motorcycle world recently just bought my first bike.. i watched countless numbers of your videos over the past two months on the srk cycles channel and even looked at your inventory before making my first bike purchase not knowing what i truly wanted until watching a bunch of them and ended up with something completely different than what i thought i wanted.. Best of luck on 2.0
Happy to hear that the channel is still running :-)
I will miss you on here. I truly wish you & your family well. I didn't know about your web site and store when I bought my bike, 2017 GSX-R1000R, would have at least had a serious look. I will be watching for you. God Bless.
