Fun fact, that isn't an F-16 in this clip. It's a KAI T-50 Golden Eagle, a South Korean trainer and light combat aircraft. It's based on the F-16 though so the designs are extremely similar. Being a trainer though it has the distinct canopy of one. If you pause the clip at the 3:38 you can get the best shot of it and tell that it's not an F-16. Still doesn't change the fact that he should be very, very dead from that SAM on his tail.

The Mig 29 is still a solid airframe, and with upgraded avionics can be equal to almost any 4th generation aircraft flying, but North Korea hasn't upgraded their Mig-29's since the late 80's. South Korean F-15's could run circles around them.

The three remaining lightnings, continue patrol over the potomac river.

I’m a retired American Infantryman and I’m both amazed and proud to see how great South Korea has become over the years, 40 years ago I wouldn’t expect this would happen but you did it. Your enemies fear you for good reason, they know how you slaughtered the North Vietnamese in Vietnam and they avoided you at great lengths. I tip my hat to all of you, you have a great future ahead of you, please don’t lose hope in your personal life if you feel lost. Serving 26 years in the US Army wasn’t easy but it was amazing and I’m better for it, please go talk to your local military recruiter and see what they can offer you. In the Army we choose our job before we join and we get paid very well and don’t work weekends (lol, ok, maybe a couple weekends a year). Stay strong South Korea and never get soft, reject liberal thinking.

Why do the North Korean pilot loadouts look more futuristic than the South’s? And why do their aircraft camo look more futuristic too? I heard it’s pure green on MiG-29s. Also, I was always wondering how those North Koreans got those advanced missile technologies. EDIT: Wow hard to believe it’s already been a year... All the memories... But really, the camo on the MiG, the gear the North Korean pilot was wearing and their SAM missiles look like it came from 2020 while the South’s weapons look like they were from the early 20th Century...

Why do the North Korean pilot loadouts look more futuristic than the South’s? And why do their aircraft camo look more futuristic too? I heard it’s pure green on MiG-29s. Also, I was always wondering how those North Koreans got those advanced missile technologies.
EDIT: Wow hard to believe it’s already been a year... All the memories...
But really, the camo on the MiG, the gear the North Korean pilot was wearing and their SAM missiles look like it came from 2020 while the South’s weapons look like they were from the early 20th Century...
Most of them are valid points, but only the plane seen by Kim Jong-un in North Korea can put up a red notice or paint it completely green. The rest of us use normal paint like a video.

He was referring to the fighter that was flying with the F-15K at 2:10. It was a South Korean FA-50 Golden Eagle, and it looked nothing like a Japanese F2A, since it uses a Blue camo, not light gray. Yes, this was a South Korean movie.
