The problem is, Daly is well-liked by the other IndyCar drivers, Ferrucci was not. Take a look at some of the clips from the iRacing Indycar invitational thing from 2020. On streams, you'd hear all kinds of garbage about Ferrucci. I also get the vibe that Zachary Claman DeMelo wasn't well-liked either. From my interpretation, he was Santino Ferrucci but less.
At the Indy the racing line actually is on the left of the straight because somehow the air which gets boxed in when you drive near the wall makes you slower. So when in the race the whole train goes to the left that's not only for slipstream. Great Video anyway. You summed up all the banter and I didn't know who this Zach guy was.

Ferrucci is the better driver, and it's not close. Daly has the better rides, but Ferrucci never finished out of the top 10 at Indy and he could have a highlight reel of his beautiful passes over 4 races.
