Here I am... a 48 year old "apprentice" taking in all this knowledge. This is truly the next closest thing to being in a job site... maybe better, because I can't piss off the master craftsman in his production. Thanks for your effort and dedication.
Hey I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I can tell you truly care about the quality of your work, I’m actually a concrete finisher by trade so I just wanted to share a little tip to bring your stairs to the next level. Once your and the point where your concrete has set up enough to hold its edges slowly and carefully remove the forms and start to finish the sides it will give your stairs a much more uniform and clean look. Keep up the great work, love the content and the craftsmanship.
Wow - fantastic job. Again, I love the effort you use to do the job right. The filming was very good, too. I think this is your best video yet. Liking these smaller project videos a lot.
I just found your channel and am happy I did! You do great work and do a great job explaining the steps. I would be happy to have you do any of my masonry work because I know it would be done right. I'm a subscriber now and look forward to more videos. Thank you!
I'm just curious if the wood frames get taken off at the ends or if they are covered with cement. Watched two videos to see what happens with the wood at the end and it never shows that part
Man, I love watching you work are you by yourself? Need a good helper? lol Let me know if you have a website or if you would like one Bill that’s my main background I would help you build one for a little of nothing. If you’re interested we could use a lot of of your already existing content on RUclips to generate content.
You want to explain that 3 inch gap you left between the blocks on the second course of the right side? That’s going to be your first failure point from the water intrusion in the winter.
Sorry I wasn't clear I mean like the cut or bit of muck (mortar) is fine the guy didn't know what you did cos it was like a 20sec jump in video and thought you left it open
Not sure not your location, seams to be north by looks of brick and block house foundation, but you guys did not put a frost free wall detail in to hold the porch, frost will move it, if u r in Florida or Georgia excuse my comment, and I bet money no expansion next to house for expansion and

Great... More Flintstones stairs... Come on man...

Great work as usual, aways impressive. One question what is the white stuff you pour at the end. and whats the use of it?
Thank you! Cheers! It's a curing compound
Can you please tell me how much does this job cost?
What was that white stuff that was sprayed on at the end?
It's to help to cure the concrete
Is there no way you could have saved the wrought iron railing?
You want to explain that 3 inch gap you left between the blocks on the second course of the right side? That’s going to be your first failure point from the water intrusion in the winter.
I would be happy to explain that if you tell me, what minutes in the video you're talking about?
I think he cut a bit of block or just filled with muck there
@@mdmconstruction what's wrong with doing that?
Sorry I wasn't clear I mean like the cut or bit of muck (mortar) is fine the guy didn't know what you did cos it was like a 20sec jump in video and thought you left it open
