I will have to pick up more of the solar lights! I'll also look for the round lights, those would be great in a power outage. We have a couple of smaller motion sensor lights going up our stairs. They make us feel safer when it's dark. Please give Teddy a hug and kiss for me! Stay safe! 💜
You can put those plastic straws in your dishwasher, they don’t melt and they will have multiple uses. I put them in the silverware area, standing up.
i buy a lot at dollar tree we go to them all in every town around us theres like 5-6 all are completely different its crazy how much they vary if i cant find it at mine i will at one of them

And it's easy.g Sometimes we add a jar of gravy to the vegetables and serve it all with rice. Some people like macaroni or noodles with it.

Personal decision: I don’t often use straws but when I do I reach for my little stash of straws that I keep in a glass in the kitchen. I use a plastic straw, rinse, dry and reuse. What I drink gets washed away with a quick rinse. It’s easy to do and I don’t feel badly anymore. We really don’t need to toss a straw after one use. They clean up great! 💗

The popcorn, especially the white cheddar flavor:-) DT used to sell light-duty drop cloths that I like to keep on hand, but idk if they still do. I use their batteries, but not exclusively. Zipper bags, cat toys and catnip.
The stores here in SE FL have the $5+ section now.

We don't have that type solar lights where I live. Just with a skinny stake to go in ground and small top. Snap! I'd really like the type you can sit on a table flat on bottom.🥺

I like to buy waxed paper, parchment paper, and the Renolds brand foil sheets. ( they have not had this brand of foil for a while) I also found I really like the 6 packs of English muffins. It is a hit or miss deal on those. sometimes they don't have them for weeks and then they will have them fresh once a week.

I've been getting dollar tree freeze dried fruit a couple yrs now
I really like them all!! I get the apple slices and eat with peanut butter just like you would fresh apples. They have peach strawberry and mixed fruit bags. I'm going to try putting into oatmeal then won't have to buy the expensive flavored instant oatmeal boxes with individual packets. 👍

The instant coffee is actually very good! I took it on my last car camping trip from Oklahoma to Colorado. The gigantic DT distribution center in Oklahoma was absolutely demolished by a tornado a couple of months or so ago. I drove by and saw a backhoe scooping up huge buckets of products!

I have 4 Dollar Tree I can visit close by and you are right they do carry some different items. I love the straws because I make lemonaide & need to protect my teeth plus I put my hair in a ponytail at night & use 3 to wrap curl my shoulder length hair to look a bit fancy sometimes. I still care at 70!😊😊
Mom and I like to hit 4 Dollar Trees in our county. I call her and say "mom...you wanna do the Dollar Tree circle???
We also use the freeze dried fruit as snacks on the road or at the beach. AG my dogs love the chicken sweet potato dog treats.

The Dollar Trees here in our area have been challenged for a while. One closest to us closed not long ago, the next closest isn't always stocked well. Think for some reason the corporation is struggling and has been closing stores.
It is hard to say why Dollar Tree stores are so different.

I shop at BJs bcause it's close and I'm lazy. Chicken boulion cubes which were $5.99 for 128 cubes in 2022 is now $8.99 for 75 in 2024 which works out to of a 2 year increase in price of over 256% . The cheap coffee I will drink is Maxwell house. Maxwell house coffe ewent up over $0.02 cents per ounce in the last 9 day (less ounces, same price). When I was using the 'self checkout' (I use that because it's rare to find an employee that can count to 2 or scan 3 items without losing count) I was told by a BJs employee that I have to remove the 'light' items from the cart, place them on the tray and then scan and reload. I informed the genius employee that it wasn't going to happen and for today all the items are now too heavy for me to lift. I also told her that BJs has a better chance of me walking out and never coming back.

just a little suggestion. do not center your face in the center of the frame, that is called a sky shot, nothing over your head but sky. position your head closer to top of frame, that is an old photographer's trick. Great vid as usual. Thanks for sharing.

A no-go on plastic straws. All you have to do is do one beach clean-up and that non-essential would go right out the window. If you can't do without a plastic straw, you are in bad shape TEOTWAWKI. Mindset is a survival item. You will be doing without many essentials. Practice now by offloading the non's.
It's a big deal. People need to open their eyes. One less way that plastic gets in your body (and lodges there, btw.)
