Thanks for the info, I am trying to get my grid heaters running off arduino and was curious about interfacing the IAT. Look like a voltage divider circuit is the way to go. Did you ever get your data monitoring system up and running? I am doing something very similar on a 12 valve swap with an arduino feeding a Nextion display. So far I've managed to get the tachometer and fuel pressure working, now working on grid heaters. All my codes also on my website if you wanted to compare.
Sounds like an awesome project. I ended up abandoning the project. I've still got it on the shelf but I've moved on to other priorities...glad the videos I made are helping people though! Open source is fun for sure.
I love your videos, I was actually thinking about doing the same with my vehicle. How hard is it to convert from Celsius to Fahrenheit? I would be using Fahrenheit. Also how do you know where to put the resistors and all the wiring on that separate board?? Thanks
Thanks for watching. It wouldn't be hard at all, in the code you would just need to put in the conversion equation. I go over the wiring a bit more in detail in my previous video on the coolant sensor. It's basically the same idea, it's just a thermistor in a voltage divider circuit. Hope that helps.
Any update to final results, with all sensors and display. im planning to build something simular, coolant+air + pressure,..
No I ended up abandoning the project but I have a video where I put everything together from all sensors on a bunch of small screens
@@OvensGarage can you share the video, just to have picture what need, this will be my first project with arduino :D
@@TJ.Outdoor you'll be able to find it if you search "arduino gauge system | prototype update 2"
@@OvensGarage yessss, thanks for it
What resistors you used to connect with Arduino?

Great video. The link for the sensor is broken, could you share again the link please or the name of the sensor? Thanks a lot for your videos. Regards
Nice video!! can you do an example with a radiation sensor??
