Really happy to see you having fun with 40k again! 10th Ed can be very rules-heavy and overly complicated, but you can also just have fun and roll dice, especially if you don't use the matched play missions!
Enjoyed this a lot! More orcs and templars please! 10th edition is a breath of fresh air for simplifying the game. I find playing secondaries fixed (don't change every turn) can be an easier introduction into them, making sure the ones selected are appropriate for the armies and the missions.
The white templars are also active in the fourth tyrannic war, I think? Quite fun to see them represented on the table! Especially when they look so neat!
Great game and content! Really enjoyed watching it, reminds me of good ol’ Winters, which is a good thing. P.S. When the Templar’s player explained the benefit of cover rule to you, he mentioned his dreadnaught could be considered a cover, giving him the benefit of cover, which he could not, because Vehicles are not considered to be a terrain piece that gives you the cover, they are just your units. If his units were fully out of line of sight behind his tank, then you wouldn’t be able to shoot at them at all, but if a unit seen behind a tank, you don’t have a cover if it’s a tank in your way, especially if they’re behind a walker like a dreadnought. Just my two cents. ;)
Thanks for having me over I had a great time.
I think there are more stories to be told on this world.
